Food was good overall but marinated galbi was bit chewy. Place was busy but food was served fast.

Legit called this place at 5:17 and asked if they served just one person. I arrive just before 5:30 and they tell me they won't serve me. What waste of time.

love Korean BBQ, and this place nails it! The meat quality is excellent, perfectly grilled by the waiter. It's bustling with people, but the food is worth it. Don't miss out if you're in Vegas!
Be the first to ReplyWe came in on Sunday at around 7pm for dinner.
Reservations are restricted to parties of 10 or more. This place gets packed quickly. The interior is a bit more sophisticated than the typical K-BBQ restaurants. Tofu Soup | Seoul Tofu restaurant has become my standard for a good soondubu jjigae. This soup was flavorful, but way too salty. Generous amount of tofu though. Soybean Paste Stew | The doenjang jjigae was extremely salty, even when eaten with a side of rice. This was intended as comfort food, but the taste buds disagreed, lol. Kimchi Pancake | Portion was small. Despite of its kimchi-colored red appearance, the kimchi taste was lacking. All that was in it was batter, some random ground meat, and a small amount of kimchi vegetables. Lobster | Yum! The fresh lobster tails were chunky and meaty. It gave a subtle sweet flavor with good buttery finish. Menu: Our table also ordered beef and pork, which I didn't care for, but they enjoyed it very much. The protein quality was outstanding. However, the side orders, like the soups and kimchi pancake, seemed to be an afterthought. The banchan dishes were good though, including the fish cakes and mashed potatoes. Service: Our party was accommodated well. It was a busy weekend dinner, so the server forgot a couple of orders. Parking: Parking lot can be full at dinner times.

Tried to eat in the evening and it was packed so came in for lunch today. We were seated right away. The staff were very attentive. You can tell they are good at what they do. The place set up nice so that you are not on top of the next table. They also have a large side room for bigger parties or special occasions. Now for the food, it was delicious. Great cuts, seasoned well and side dishes good. A much more upscale place. Our family all left very full and content. Definitely a must go.
Be the first to ReplyOf all the Korean barbecue restaurants in Vegas, this one
Of all the Korean barbecue restaurants in Vegas, this one seems to have the best quality. The boneless short rib is really good and melts in your mouth. And it's more convenient because the servers grill all the meat right next to you.
Be the first to ReplyMy boyfriend and I came here tonight to have our date night.
We came in and didn't get greeted or didn't feel much of a welcome. Our server kind of made our dinner unappetizing as he cooked and talked to his other servers in between, didn't talk to us at all during it till after he finished cooking saying that it was all cooked. It was awkward. If this were the case I would've preferred cooking it myself. My boyfriend said it ruined his appetite that it wasn't a great experience as we imagined it to be. He seemed kind of annoyed that we were there from the moment we came in the door which was not appreciated. We won't be coming here again.

If you're an LA transplant and reading this review this might sum up my experience : REMINDED ME OF QUARTERS in KOREATOWN, LOS ANGELES. Onto the review HAHAHA I was invited to a birthday dinner here. I was the first to arrive (like always) for the group and was greeted by a friendly server at the front, he gave me options to wait for the rest of my party or to be seated. We had made reservations so I had no issue with the seating arrangements. I'm unsure if this is a necessity at this place but to be safe, I'd call ahead. The side dishes were simple and delicious, much like the counterpart I've mentioned in Los Angeles, they serve a little dish with sauces and salt for your meat. I'm not sure why I didn't take photos of the meat but overall the quality seemed elite! There were people that cooked the meat for us so we didn't have to do too much cooking on our own. Some KBBQ places are literally All-you-can-eat and do-it-yourself; I don't mind but it's nice if someone better equipped does the cooking for you. Their cold noodles were delightful -- I'm a skeptic when it comes to cold noodles and am very particular but they got the pass HAHA We ordered the combos and I think it's a great shareable item to order because they come with both marinated and non marinated meats satisfy everyone's preferences at the table. I would most likely return with my husband soon!

I have tried 888 Korean and 888 Japan and Mister Kim in a party of 3 or 4 and I prefer 8oz. The meat was noticeably more premium without a premium price. I am Korean (Rhee duh) and unbelievably I don't normally even like KBBQ that much, but I like that the waiter here cooked the meat and I liked the Combo options which ended up cheaper than the AYCE places. No, the 8oz is not all you can eat and I realized that I preferred the combo menu here to AYCE menu of other KBBQ restaurants.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 8oz, a Korean Barbecue Restaurant that left me impressed and satisfied. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. However, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the meat. It was incredibly fresh and delicious, cooked to perfection right at our table. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every dish we tried.Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive & friendly! Overall, I highly recommend 8oz to anyone looking for a top-quality Korean Barbecue Restaurant. The fresh and delicious meat, combined with the exceptional service, make this establishment stand out from the rest!

I think a Wednesday night is the best time to go, because from what I hear, this spot always has a long wait ! I get it ! The beef IS high quality in the way it looks and tastes! Theres no need for any sauce to heighten the flavor. I ordered japchae as it is a staple with my kbbq meal, and it was also a big portion for two ! This is worth the $$ for sure !

Be the first to ReplySo our 19years anniversary we last minute decided to switch
So our 19years anniversary we last minute decided to switch our dinner plans. So we decided to try this place. We didn't want AYCE, we just wanted good quality meats. So the reviews said it is good quality here. So we came in, place looks decent. Nothing special,We could have left already but we were starving and still wanted to give this place a try. We'll the servers were okay. I'd say okay because he forgot one of our orders.and we remembered it at the end of dinner. We ordered combo D .It was 4 diff meats and comes with kimchi soup and egg. Honestly I'd say the 2 out of the 4 meats we got were good quality. Our server helped us choose a bottle of Korean gin. We enjoyed that bottle. So Now we can say we've tried this place and prob won't be coming back. I'd say the 3 stars is me being nice.
Be the first to ReplyThis is our go to place anytime we want Korean BBQ.
The food is delicious always. The staff is always very kind, helpful , pleasant and hard working. We will continue going here. It's our favorite.

8oz Korean Steak House - LAS VEGAS10/10--Review: KBBQ DONE RIGHT. No joke like the meat quality here was insanely good. It is not an all you can eat, but that means you better expect some top notch quality. Like bro u gotta look at how thick these slices of meat are man. Its literally marbling and that perfect pink color. Like this is textbook meat pictures. Wow. SO tender. The steamed egg is bouncy, fluffy, and so good. Just evaporates in ur mouth like u learned in science class during fifth grade. The spicy buckwheat noodles are solid. Chewy, refreshing, perfect to balance all that grease from the meat. The beef brisket is also top quality. Melts in your mouth, that perfect meat texture, the way it makes your heart break dance and gives you a warm hug with a cherry on top and sprinkles oooooooooooooo. Sorry idk if i make sense, im writing this at 3 am.W SPOT. MY grandma and grandpa love this place. Bonus Points. W DAB
Be the first to ReplyYummy food! The quality of the meat here is very good.
We had Combo C (beef and pork) and it was enough food for 5 people. We even had some leftovers at the end. I like that this place has sets instead of AYCE so that we can take our leftovers home. The kimchi seafood tofu soup was one of the best I've had. I'll definitely be back to try the other sets with my family but I will always get that kimchi stew.
Be the first to ReplyI Came to this KBBQ spot as a last minute thing.
10 minutes to 11pm. I was greeted and seated within seconds. I did not get the servers name but I will tell you he deserves a pay raise! He had such a pleasant attitude and cooked our food perfectly! It made our night very memorable when he brought us an ice cream for my friends birthday! Thank you so much
Be the first to ReplyCame here for dinner with a group of friends.
Service was good, ambience was nice, food tasted good... but then we ALL GOT FOOD POISONING... every single one of us that shared the same grill. Never again.
Be the first to ReplyReally fancy Korean BBQ restaurant.
Staffs take charge of the grill so we don't need to worry about the grilling. We ordered a $68 pork set menu for 2-3 people. They gave us 3 different types of pork BBQ and soup and additional side dishes. Every menu we got was so amazing. It was so satisfying lunch. We were so full when we finished the meal so we took the rest of the food to the box and had it in the dinner. Great Korean BBQ experience.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely love 8oz every time we are in town.
This time we mixed it up and tried more of the meat options and the only one that was just "ok" were the riblets. The brisket with that dipping sauce is still our favorite. Additionally, everything kimchi is wonderful, the stew, those kimchi pancakes, and we always order the kimchi fried rice. I wish I lived nearby because I would order that fried rice to go several times per week.

I'm usually a AYCE KBBQ person, but I've been dying to visit 8oz and I finally got to go with a few girlfriends. ย We came right when it was open at 5 pm and able to get a table with no issues. ย Korean restaurants are known for their side dishes and everything was delicious. ย Their meats were top quality and so flavorful. ย Their side dishes, meats, sauces ... ahh it's getting me hungry again just thinking of it. ย It is a bit pricey, but you get your moneys worth. ย I definitely recommend this place and will be back with family and friends.
