Superb Fine dining experience
Worth the 2 stars, all the food was excellent, the service flow was on point, fully attentive to details, what made this experience more exciting was the story and decor that made it a alain ducasse personalization.
Each dish had its own customized plates, utensils and cups.
The music was upbeat which made the dinning experience not feel to sleepy or boring.
All the dishes had an interesting story, right balance and minimalistic approach.
Great food worthy of the Ducasse moniker
Located in the very stylish and modern Morpheus Hotel in Macau. We went there pretty late for dinner and without a reservation but received a very warm welcome nonetheless. I guess it being a casino city that never sleeps makes it less strict with exact dining times. A great classic French meal served with panache and style, and yet delivered in a rustic homely style and easy going atmosphere. Reasonable price for the quality and experience. Would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for dependable high quality French cuisine blessed by Alain Ducasse. Quite often restaurants linked to three star celebrity Michelin chefs who are not physically present there all the time don’t often deliver the goods, but this one certainly did, and did it very well indeed. Most worthy of the Ducasse moniker.

this has to be the best restaurant on the planet. the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. there is nothing like it anywhere.
the service is sensational. Christopher Bothwell the director of restaurants and his captain Hugo Kieffer are astonishingly good at what they do. under service in the dictionary should be both their names and photos.
the food is incredible. this is the second time we were here. both times we left it to them to decide what to serve us. they have simply blown us away both times. food is delicious, innovative and beautiful.
we will return and return.
Great food and excellent service
Had dinner with friends at Morpheus. First thing you will notice is the hotel. It’s just awesome! Modern and sleek. The restaurant is equally visually stunning. The staff was professional but yet very relaxed which made the restaurant experience great! The food was great as well! Good presentation and the flavors great. We ordered the rib eye but sadly was under whelming. The cocktails were really good and the wine selection was amazing. Quite expensive in my opinion. Our bill was 200 USD per person. But definitely recommended.

This is the 3rd Alain Ducasse restaurants we tried after Spoon and Rech in Hong Kong and we will try the one in London soon.
The decor of the restaurant was trendy yet simple with ‘glass bamboos with lights’ as the main features.
We tried 1 Signature Menu and 1 Le Premier Menu and the overall food quality and taste was exceptional. Yet, we would like to see some wow effects from some of the dishes especially on food presentation when it is supposed to be a contemporary French cuisine where both tastes and presentation should have been contemporary.
We particularly liked the caviar + crab dish which was fresh and tasty, the John Dory dish which was tender and cooked perfectly, the veal chop and the cheeses. Others were good too but quite standard though.
On the other hand, I would expect the Le Premier Menu should have included the blue lobster instead of the John Dory dish.
As for the welcoming champagne, we chose the Rose champagne which was good but a bit pricey at Hk878+ per glass, which is almost the price of our wine pairing flight at Hk$880+ for the whole flight.
All the staff were professional, detail-minded and friendly especially Christopher the Director, the French and Chinese male sommeliers and the Chinese male captain.
All and all, a very nice dining experience and I would still highly recommend the Le Premier Menu though hoping that it would include blue lobster in future.

Celebrating my birthday was the occasion to visit this restaurant and we have not been disappointed! We had a nice table with a separate sitting area for aperitifs. The decorations are beautiful and the temperature at the restaurant is comfortable, you don’t freeze like in some. Soft but not boring music.
We went for a set menu. Everything was delicious and well-portioned. Maybe 3 desserts and a cheese platter is too much though)
Service was top notch, attentive, friendly and welcoming, just the right dose of upscale but you don’t feel like at the reception with the queen.
A gift box of Alain Ducasse chocolates (which were delicious) was a nice touch to end our delightful evening.
The total bill including wines was about 900€ for 2 persons.
Very happy we had a chance to visit this wonderful restaurant.
Nice experience
My daughter and I had dinner at the restaurant last night.
It is a beautifully designed restaurant with a lot of attention to detail.
Service was impeccable. Winelist well curated. We had a Degustation menu which was delicious. There we're some interesting Asian influence in the cooking with some very top imported ingredients.
We were treated to a kitchen visit that was very impressive. Loved the chef's table.
As you might expect it is a bit more expensive than at a burger joint, but it is an excellent experience. We can highly recommend it.
Excellent fine dining in Macau
Alain Ducasse opened his latest fine dining restaurant at Morpheus in Macau last summer with Head Chef Pierre Marty. We had our first meal here recently and safe to say, it will not be the last!
Reservation was made directly through the City of Dreams website. We were warmly received upon arrival at the 3rd floor of the Morpheus property. Dining environs are elegant and beautiful, a perfect setting for fine dining in Macau.
We found service to be professional and seamless, and staff were extremely knowledgeable – don't hesitate to ask about the food, drink or even the restaurant decor.
Menu is focused on a handful of dishes which are beautifully prepared and served with precision. Importantly, everything we ordered tasted excellent. There is an extensive wine list and a very capable sommelier at hand.
We started with apéritifs, which came with delectable canapés and barbajuans. Pre-dinner bread and amuse bouche were very good, the foie gras appetizer whetted our appetite for the mains, both of which were splendid. The signature wood-fire duckling was succulent, smooth and flavourful. Even more relished was the venison fillet served with garnish and poivrade sauce; this was the best venison plate we've had in many years.
We liked everything in the cheese platter but were particularly fond of the Ossau Iraty cheese from the Basque country.
For dessert, we went for the Rum Baba, a classic staple across Alain Ducasse restaurants. We also had the restaurant’s signature dessert: coffee and chocolate with toasted buckwheat, served in a cacao pod. Both matched the presentation and taste quality of earlier courses served.
An extra serving of Alain Ducasse's own chocolate from Paris, citrus palate cleanser and petite four rounded off a remarkable and memorable meal experience at Alain Ducasse at Morpheus.
In the end, this was easily one of the very best meals we have had in Macau in over a decade of regularly dining in the city. Excellence was delivered very naturally across the board, and we loved the personal service. We are much looking forward to a return visit to the new Alain Ducasse at Morpheus restaurant.
