Amici's East Coast Pizzeria Menlo Park Reviews from The Last Year
Missing the meatballs I paid extra for.
Such a disappointment. I typically eat a protein every meal as I have medical issues. I paid 6.95 extra for the meatballs. It's the first thing noted in the "additions" I added.

The staff here is so nice and friendly, I only wish more restaurants had workers who are so attentive and polite! The wait time was a little long, but definitely worth it when the food comes out. I typically get the ravioli and the garlic bread, they are really good! I've tried their pizza and desserts, all of which have been very delicious, and the price is pretty good. 100% recommend!
In an attempt to place and order pizza over the phone.
We asked if there were any coupons that our order qualified for. During this we heard the women taking our order put down the phone and hang up. When we called back and asked for the manager, we were told by the manager that they were very busy and basically called us liars. We have been long term customers of Amici's and this was completely unacceptable, never going to order again.

My veggie pizza was quite good but my husband's pasta with meat sauce was all pasta with a thin sauce containing a pinch of meat. Sad to report this. Service was okay and atmosphere okay as well, though chilly inside so we wore our jackets.
Great customer service, very friendly staff.
The pizza is delicious, and the outdoor patio is perfect for having dogs sit with you.
The food here is good.
We usually go because my sister is vegan and they are one of the few local places that do good vegan pizza. I like the ambiance and our server was nice but I'm giving minus stars because I have no idea why they served kids dishes burning hot. My father and myself both burned our hands on my daughters macaroni plate it was actually terrifying. She's at an age where I don't always check if her foods too hot so it's lucky we had to move her plate and then got burned. If she had taken a spoonful of that to the mouth we would definitely have had to go to the hospital that night. No food and plate should be served that hot to a table. I've been in hospitality a number of years and would NEVER do that and don't know many staff that would. Then while other people were eating she had to wait for her food to cool (which took awhile since it was basically on fire). I'm sure we'll come back but the negligence around food safety doesn't make me that excited to.

2023.11 :-) Amici Menlo Park downtown :-) - Cassandra the natural business leader server greeted us with the warmest smiles and cleanliness of a brand new shirt! Even the store was not open yet, she invited us to sit down, relax, and when the time is ready she served us with 2 of the world's BEST PIZZA!!! Not only that, she asked if we would like some more vegetables to go with the pizza. Wow! The she brought in a plate of arugula on the table that looked as fresh as the framers' market ones! Amazing Service! Amazing Foods! Keep up the great work Cassandra! 30% Tip and 10 Star Yelp Reviews!!! -DR!

Great food ! Been eating here since 2000 I do the Trentino and sub ham for pancetta and it's amazing ! Love the lasagna, and the minestrone soup is fantastic! I love the spinach salad without the onions and peppers but I add grilled chicken and use Ranch dressing and it's the bomb. All fresh ingredients and super fast service too
Fantastic! Delicious pizza, friendly staff.
Recommended for family dinners or gatherings.
Expensive Pizza for average at best Pizza
Visiting in Menlo Park area and looked for a great pizza. The reviews generally said "very expensive / overpriced" but "great pizza." So we decided to order an expensive pie and it was average at best. We won't return. Suggest to find a more reasonably priced pizza because it won't be worse than Amici's.
Great consistent chain pizza with ny style chewy crust.
The salads are good as well-- Caesar dressing is amazing on everything, that is if you dip your pizza and ranch try this instead! They are a bit pricey for portion size.

The Pizza here is excellent: Thin crust, your choice of sauce, mozzarella cheese, and many toppings. I always get fennel sausage and pepperoni. Everything tastes killer! Only problem, (and this needs to be seen by both corporate and the store manager,) is that this place only has those real small diameter pepperonis. And when the pizza is served to you the pepperonis look like little bowls completely full of oil from the fat in the meat. Some fools love this stuff and are oblivious that said oil is packed with cholesterol and triglycerides. Pro pizza shops always take paper towels and soak the oil out of the meat so you won't get high cholesterol (like me) or worse yet have a heart attack or a stroke. Please tell corporate and management to instruct staff to soak the grease out of those pepperonis. The one on Santa Cruz Avenue in Menlo Park is in need of thorough oversight. I would install cameras to verify that the grease is getting removed after each pie comes out of the oven.
