This is a superb venue for a pre-Christmas party. The food is fantastic and the chefs work around you bringing out dishes from the ovens which are around the perimeter of the room. Standing room only, but worth it. Staff are attentive and friendly.

This time I went along with my husband to a special VIP event. Firstly you are greeted with some champagne (you can opt for juice if you want) and a vegetable soup bit later in reception area then you are led into the cookery area to meet the chefs.
I met a lot of nice new people at this event in a fun way by which we prep food together. I say prep as I don't see cracking a egg, peeling mushrooms, slicing cauliflower etc is cooking. There is 4 working stations starters, starters, main and dessert. You are divided up by one of the chefs into groups (you cant choose your work station). You are then all given something to do be it peel mushrooms, boil eggs, crack oysters open, stir sauce etc. On the night we went we had the Autumn menu (Smoked Salmon Tartare, Lardo, Oyster Cream, Red Pepper Vinaigrette and Horseradish Mayonnaise AND Poached Duck Egg with Cauliflower and Cumin Veloute, Cured Duck Breast, Pickled Cauliflower and Wild Mushroom Powder AND Pan Fried Mackerel and Squid, Ratatouille Compote, Parsley Crumble, Black Olive Tapenade and Chicken Jus AND Plum Tatin with Apple and Pear Chutney, Caramel Gel, Chocolate Arlette, Shiso and Yoghurt Sorbet). There was a few items I did not like on the menu or was allergic to so they did swap some items over for me which was good. This was a fun night I loved meeting and prepping food with the new people I met and having a laugh with them. Whilst prepping you can help yourself to wine and snacks (hams and cheese) throughout to give you inspiration apparently. Also there is a camera on hand via Aveqia to take photos throughout night which is then uploaded in morning for everyone to download photos from to have a memory of their experience. So you don't have to worry about getting your phone mucky or running out of battery by using your phone etc. Also this way you will all get plenty of varied shots throughout the night of everyone.
Usually this experience usually costs ยฃ180 each but thankfully for this special VIP event I only paid ยฃ10. I really don't think the whole experience is worth ยฃ180 each even with all the wine you get given throughout the prepping time and the wine you get paired with the dishes that you eat. I would go back only though if was at a more reasonable price say around ยฃ70 maybe.
Reason I am however giving this 4 stars this time round rather than 3 in which I gave last time is because I felt the chefs were more humourous and more helpful this time and the company of the people I met at the event made it a even more special experience. So I suppose it also depends on who you meet on the night would make a difference to if you enjoy your time that night or not.
Fantastic place for a team event!
Ever want to go somewhere and bond with your team while having fun cooking a three / four course meal with great wines to match overseen by Michelin Star Chefs?: This is the place to go!
They have a couple of rooms that they could adjust for a team meeting / discussion and then move to cooking together. The chefs are great, around to help you understand what you are doing and the food comes out great at the end of it.
Very good venue
Had a cookery course here and it's fantastic, well equipped venue. Easy to get to location in London with easy reach of Liverpool Street station with very helpful staff.
Excellent Experience
Wonderful hospitality and an excellent experience.
We were welcomed by 2 Michelin star chefs who directed us through the evening and was always on hand to help, explain and answer questions.
Set-up and complexity is pretty straight forward which is well received as you chat, cook and drink the super wines on offer.
All round excellent and a must for parties or corporate occasions.
Fun dining experience
I was fortunate to be invited to experience this unique dining venue. The building is on the corner of St. Brides St and is beautifully decorated in a contemporary fashion. It consists of several dining spaces of various sizes, catering for up to 30 people.
We were greeted by 2 Michelin starred chefs, who looked after us, feeding us canapes and champagne in the Champagne bar.We then went into the kitchen and was divided up into four groups. Each group made a course and served it to their fellow diners.
Throughout the food preparation and cooking stage, which was only one hour, we enjoyed wine, with cold meats and cheese. We then had a glass of wine paired with each of the four courses. The chefs were on hand all the time to guide us and ensure that we kept the kitchen clean.
It is a great place for team building. Each diner has their own little task in the preparation and cooking of the courses, so each team member makes a contribution to the final dishes. The dinners were worthy of Michelin stars.
The evening was so much fun and all the teams jelled, even though we were competitive. The chefs were amazing. I would thoroughly recommend this unique dining experience and have already done so to many of my friends and associates.
Fun team building opportunity
I was part of a party of seventeen girls who attended a corporate event at Aveqia. The evening kicked off with a champagne reception, a tour of the gorgeous modern kitchens and an introductory talk by our host Ben and the one Michelin star chef, Roger Rahaman. The evening involved โInteractive cookingโ โ we were divided into 3 groups โ each group helping to make the starter, main course and pudding. It was brilliant fun โ we all mixed and got to know one another.
Aveqia isnโt a restaurant or a traditional cookery school โ more an โinteractive cookery eventโ. Iโve been on loads of cookery courses where you barely look up from the stove as youโre in a mad rush to complete everything on time โ this cookery event wasnโt like that. There was more of a party atmosphere โ we did a bit of cooking, chatted to the other team members and drank wine. Roger, our chef was very patient and helpful and it was a delight to see how top class food is prepared.
Once the food was prepared we all sat down and the courses were served by the teams who prepared them. The food was definitely of a very high quality and absolutely delicious. The wines were chosen by the chef to suit the food. It was a very fun, lively night. I would highly recommend the venue and concept for corporate team building, parties etc.
Great experience dining
Invited to an event and didn't expect to be cooking my dinner ....!!
However , was so impressed with the beautiful venue which you wouldn't expect from the outside .
Felt very blessed throughout the evening as we were incredibly well looked after, served beautiful wines during preparation and a wine to compliment each course accordingly and this will probably be the only time I am trained by incredible and friendly Michelin chefs.
Can highly recommend Aveqia to business and friends if you are looking for the wow factor and want to impress your guests.
Great fun , great food (which I actually helped cook!! And I'm really no chef !!)
Great venue with great friends
Wonderful, unique evening
My wife and I had an amazing experience at Aveqia. The chef's were extraordinary, both with their cooking prowess as well as their patience with novices like myself. It's definitely an out-of-the-box experience which is a great leveler at corporate events. Can't recommend enough.

I was invited to Aveqia for a corporate event and like so many didn't know quite what to expect. This is not a restaurant or a cookery school but it is an interactive cookery event. Having said that you can get as involved with preparing the dinner as you want, or sit back with a glass of Champagne and watch others do the work! The food we prepared as a team was delicious and each of the four courses matched to an excellent Champagne. The setting is attractive and conducive to a fun and lively night out.
