What a beautiful atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the food was not on the same level. Started with the hummus (nice texture, good taste) and whipped feta (highlight of the entire meal, delicious and creamy). Entrees included the Azure Burger (really lackluster flavor, nice presentation), and the lemon marinated chicken (cooked just right but not much flavor) with a side of the spanikorizo (very bland). Service was excellent, and of course, the ambiance was top-notch. Great photo location.

Love!! I've been here several times and the service is always amazing. It's a little pricy but it's a higher end restaurant and the food is great so it's worth it! They also have an outdoor area that had a DJ that night.

The food is as good as it gets! The atmosphere is casual but the menu deserves every one of its five stars. Our server, Brianna and Gabby were the perfect servers and only added to an already delightful dining experience.
Be the first to ReplyAzure at the Tampa Edition is a fantastic rooftop
Azure at the Tampa Edition is a fantastic rooftop restaurant that offers a great vibe and an enjoyable dining experience. I visited with three friends, and we opted for a couple of small share plates, which turned out to be surprisingly filling and delicious. I highly recommend trying out their shareable options as they are flavorful and satisfying. One thing I loved about the food at Azure is that it felt light yet satisfying. This makes it a perfect choice if you're spending a day by the pool or need a quick but tasty bite before heading to a game or event. The rooftop setting adds to the overall ambiance, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Before indulging in our appetizers, we started with a drink in the lobby downstairs. The service throughout our visit was excellent, with attentive staff ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience. Overall, Azure at the Tampa Edition is a spot I would definitely recommend. Whether you're looking for a rooftop dining experience with a great vibe, delicious shareable plates, or simply a place to enjoy drinks and appetizers with friends, Azure delivers on all fronts. It's a wonderful addition to the Tampa dining scene.

This restaurant at one of Tampa's finest hotels was a nice experience overlooking the downtown City lights from an upper level view toward Amalie Arena and Tampa Bay. A private wedding reception near our hotel's restaurant by the pool was later opened for a different view over the horizon. We hadn't planned to stay a long time to eat, so we chose a quick dinner. I hesitate to critique the restauant food since we did not indulge their specialties. Perhaps, another time. But the lobby is a busy place with lots of excitement to explore. The concierge deserves a lot of praise, however. She went well beyond our expectations in finding our Uber driver. She left the hotel with us in tow, walking over a couple of streets in darkness to locate our driver who was circling the streets. The hotel is not very well situated for Uber drivers, and this was a busy game night.

Went here to celebrate a friends birthday and it left a lot to be desired. I'm a huge foodie but they definitely missed the mark. For the price point the fact that the hummus was the highlight is embarrassing. My drink was good but not great. I got the chicken kebabs and they were only okay lacked flavor and overcooked. Service was good. May come for a drink at the pool bar but other than that I'm eating elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place for a date.
It can get busy at night and on weekends. I advise making reservations. Very nice environment.
Be the first to ReplyI wanted to love this place.
.. Leaving hungry from a $400+ meal is unacceptable. We went for my 60th birthday Sat. night.. The portions were very small for the price.. Cocktails at $24.. 3 very small lamb chops for $65.. Service was amazing, though.. When my wife and daughter both told them it was my birthday, I felt the least they could do is offer a beverage or desert. They charged me for the "desert" baklava and put the candle swiftly on my table with no wishes.. I always have a a great time w/ my family , but honestly not worth the exhorbitant price (don't care that it's a hotel restaurant) Unfortunately won't be back.

I was so excited to try this rooftop gem in the heart of downtown Tampa! I'll start with the parking situation, clearly it's downtown Tampa so finding parking is a little bit difficult. You can always valet for a charge. The hotel it is beautiful as I expected, lots of foliage, and very beautiful people. I can't wait to try all the dining selections there but today we're talking about Azure. I want to send a shout out to our waitress. Kayla, who was by far amazing. She is beautiful as she is knowledgeable up at the menu. We ordered the platter with the different hummus and sauces, and that was pretty good, the hummus was spectacular. Some of my party ordered the kebabs, which were average, nothing crazy but also not bad. The portions were good, they weren't over the top like most American meals. I personally ordered the branzino. I think the fish is actually very tasty but it definitely lacked flavor and seasoning. It came with a side of some kind of paste that I just was not a fan of. If the Branzino was accompanied by some garlic, butter or lemon white wine sauce, it would've been tremendously good. It just lacked in the flavor department. We had the large Cosmo bowl which was super delicious and there was plenty to drink for everyone on the table. The price point is as expected, it's on the fancier side, so I expected a hefty price tab, which is what we got. The reason for my four star review is one, it was about 37ยฐ outside and they had the air blowing directly on us, it was very difficult to eat comfortably when we were frozen through the entire dinner. Kayla was kind enough to provide blankets, which was a very sweet gesture, but a restaurant should have control of their environment enough to not require blankets. The lack of flavor of our food also contributed to the 4 stars. I think I need to come back and try it again, I look forward to exploring the menu, a little more and hopefully increasing the review as long as I don't freeze to death in the process.
Be the first to ReplyI finally got to check out Azure last night, and my group
I finally got to check out Azure last night, and my group had a great time. We tried the kiwi rum cocktail, lamb meatballs, chicken kebabs, steak kebabs, and fries. My friend and I both ordered a side of tzatziki, and I have had better tzatziki and hole-in-the-wall Greek places. It was so plain, it seemed like it was just plain Greek yogurt scooped out of a container. In addition, my friend was not able to get the cocktail she wanted. The bartenders tried twice making an "Aviation", but they were both not what she had in mind. I don't know if we will be back soon, but I'm glad I got to cross it off my list.
Be the first to ReplyI celebrated a birthday with my girlfriends at AZURE back
I celebrated a birthday with my girlfriends at AZURE back in December and we had a lovely evening at The Edition that night. This is one of the newer and pricier restaurants on the beautiful Water Street close to DT Tampa. The ambiance, service, and food were very-very good, so it's worth it. Their unbelievably gorgeous roof top / pool area is full of stunning flowers / greenery and has breathtaking views of Tampa Bay. The majority of items on the menu consist of Mediterranean things, which I love. Tuna Tartare and Grilled Octopus were delicious, but the Baby Kale & Gem Caesar was definitely worthy of Michelin-star (created by their chef John Fraser). Everyone loves a good Caesar salad but these mini, personal-sized leaves make a lovely presentation. My Lemon Drop sugar-rimmed martini was well-balanced and was made with perfect amount of Kettle One vodka. Unfortunately, this restaurant doesn't offer anything for birthdays (or at least our waitress did not offer anything to our table), but we opted in for Crispy Dough (Beignets) which had an amazingly yummy rosemary sugar and walnut honey dip - definitely recommend! Service by Kayla was top-notch as she was attentive, accurate with our order and provided a few recommendations to us. This is probably one of the better options on Water Street as The Edition is such an extravagant development that is definitely something to visit while in Tampa.
Be the first to ReplyI ordered the "house Cabernet", which is usually understood
I ordered the "house Cabernet", which is usually understood to be the table wine, vin d'table, and later got charged $28 for the wine. The server did not advise me of the price when I ordered. I complained and they adjusted the charge to the Pinot noir which was lesser priced. I fault the management for having such a high price for a house wine. The server was very nice, but should have advised me of the price when I ordered. We were also served an appetizer which we did not order and were charged. The food was very good but too expensive, and service was inconsistent
Be the first to ReplyWe live across the street from the edition and have always
We live across the street from the edition and have always wanted to try dinner at Azure. The rooftop is beautiful and we really enjoyed the ambience... however that was it sadly. Our waitress was kind, however very uneducated on the menu. we ordered two appetizers which were okay, And ordered the lamb chops for the entree. The waitress said that the lamb chops came as one temp, and we couldn't request medium rare. I asked how many would come with the entree, to which she replied that they were cut up on the plate. we were hesitant, but still decided to order. Not only were they overpriced at $65, but they were so dry and overcooked. Only three pieces can on the plate and then the rest of the plate was coated in greens that had no taste. We shared our thoughts with the waitress and nothing was done to take this entree of the bill. Extremely disappointed in this experience and the overpriced underwhelming food and will not be back.

The ambiance here is beautiful! Go outside to the pool and look over beautiful Tampa. I really enjoyed the octopus and lamb meatballs, but the drinks were great too. This is a good spot to hang out with friends before going out downstairs to the Arts Club, or nice to just catch up over a nice dinner. Def a new Tampa staple!
Be the first to ReplyI've been here three times.
Each time I'm hoping they get it right because the decor, setting and view are outstanding, but it misses the mark on everything else. The service gets worse each time I've returned. The food is average at best, but the prices are insulting, which equals no value. $80 for a whole fried chicken, $28 for an overcooked and burnt hamburger- come on!I would like to return once they improve things because of the vibe and good but hotel priced drinks, but I'll be waiting until I hear better things.
Be the first to ReplyHad my birthday dinner here & stayed at the actual hotel.
Hands down 10/10 service & experience in every single corner of this place. The restaurant itself id give a 7/10 each restaurant in this hotel offers a different style of cuisine which I found very neat. Azure in particular is Mediterranean food based Americanized keep that in mind but still good. My table ordered all the apps to split amongst us & it's safe to say the seafood tower was a hit for us all ! The only thing I disliked that I ordered was the meatballs I personally thought they had too much of a gamey flavor that I don't prefer. The hotel portion itself is to die for Tampa has nothing like it! aesthetically pleasing top to bottom ! Looking for a wedding venue? Good first impression ? Or just wanna take helllllla pics THIS is the place ! Let's start by mentioning the smell ! It's the first thing you notice along with the beautiful greenery in this place, it's amazing. it's a signature scent they have with le labo that you can even purchase through them. They have the hotel rooms filled w. Lotion, shampoo & conditioner of the same scent im obsessed! The rooms it's self were chefs kiss the bed was a cloud. I also visited the spa here &enjoyed myself a hydrafacial let me just say.. I never felt so catered to in my life I could cry a mini massage was featured with that btw and it was heaven. I left this hotel the next day not only feeling like a million bucks but like I was elsewhere I totally forgot I was in Tampa. I would recommend this place 10000001% there's more than one restaurant & bar to choose from here the rooftop is breath taking & I'll mention the best for last. The arts room is a grown & sexy lounge that is my new personal favorite there's nothing like it in Tampa & I pray it stays this classy cause we don't have a vibe like this around just yet. Important tip make reservations this is not a place you can wing it & walk into at any time, dress accordingly & valet is available.

Cute place to come and grab a drink with a friend after work. Drinks were really good, spicy Marg was excellent! Ordered the hummus, very small serving size as expected. Nice atmosphere. Would come back. Only thing was it was quite hot due to the door opening for the pool area! Also a tad pricey but really nice furnishings. Love the bar seating - would recommend that
Be the first to ReplyGorgeous place! A great place to take pictures.
The food is ok. A little bland on the chicken skewers. I did not enjoy the Oysters was super small from the west coast. I have had better. Hummus was good. Great service though. There is a 20% pool charge, no need to tip. I would definitely come back to hang out.
Be the first to ReplyThe "restaurant" is truly beautiful.
I say "restaurant" because the vibe is more of a cocktail bar that also has food. There are lots of plants and the furniture is all neutral tones, giving a White Lotus resort look.I went for dinner with a few girls. We each ordered our own small plates/ appetizers, which were tuna tartare, baba ghanoush, a Caesar salad, and hummus. We shared a bottle of riesling and the fried chicken, which was a whole chicken that was sectioned into pieces and fried. It was served with a habanero honey sauce, french fries, and ketchup. The chicken was delicious and after feeding the four of us we still went home with a few leftover pieces. The flavor and portion size of the chicken justified its price. In a perfect world it would be closer to $40, but you are paying for the location and exclusivity. Our server Justin treated the table to classes of brut that he advised would complement the chicken. Even without the complementary drink, he was a great server who explained the menu to us, was not annoyed when we asked for more time to review, and was helpful and courteous throughout the night. The prices were not unbearable considering we shared everything, but Azure is NOT cheap. Cocktails started at $18 and mock tails were $15. The burger was $24.A negative of the experience- we ordered two dips and two appetizers. The entire table was given one small basket of pita. We asked for a second basket, only to find later that 4 pita triangles added $10 on the bill. The prices and limited menu selection are what brought this review to 4 stars instead of 5. This is definitely not the best option for a dinner, but if you are going for drinks and lite fare and are ready to spend some money, then this could be a 5 star experience.

Azure at The Edition is an upscale cocktail lounge on the 9th floor of the new Edition Hotel in Downtown Tampa with a fantastic ambiance and nice views of Downtown Tampa and Harbour Island and is the new hot spot everyone is talking about! However, once you get past the pretty decor and views, Azure's greek inspired limited lunch menu does not leave me with a lot of appealing options, the restaurant's Greek food is way overpriced, and the service is mediocre. Having your own private balcony for your party does sound appealing and there were 4 private balconies vacant and not in use during my visit but the empty balconies were unfortunately allegedly somehow already spoken for according to the concierge so make sure to make reservations well in advance if you want a private balcony. The Feta dip appetizer came topped with a weird hot oil that did not taste good, ruined the entire dish, and made the dip inedible. 2/19 The Kebab Souvlaki Haloumi Muhammara came out burnt and lacking a decent marinade. 3/10 The Shrimp saganaki came with Spiced tomatos, summer squash crumbled feta. 4/10 Azure's $18 Specialty cocktails are priced well above average but are quite unique. However, the extra unique ingredients that were chosen were a bit odd and nothing that really struck me as a must have. The $18 Specialty cocktails include the Banana Espresso Martini, Green Juice Bloody, Kiwi Daiquiri, Mandarin Martini with lemon basil & Bourbon, Garden Margarita w carrots and cilantro, Kentucky Mule with Bourbon & strawberry, Spicy Maria w tomato and jalapeรฑo. Azure's menu is lacking anything that I really had to have. Azure's raw bar menu options include $18 oysters, $22 shrimp, $24 clams, & $20 octopus. Azure has 5 dips including hummus, tzatziki, avocado, eggplant, and feta. Azure's small plates include greek salad, fritto Misto, $32 shrimp saganaki, baby kale & gem Caesar, grilled octopus, & lamb meatballs. Azure's large plates include a $24 hummus bowl, Greek grilled cheese, spanakopita panini, grilled branzino sandwich, kebabs, and a whopping $24 burger. If you're looking for decent greek food near Downtown Tampa, I have to recommend you try the Acropolis Greek Tavern in Ybor city close by. If you're looking to enjoy the view, feel fancy, and have a unique fancy $18 specialty cocktail or a $24 Burger, this spot might work for you. If you're looking for better drinks in the downtown area, I have to recommend American Social over this place. Unfortunately, i can't recommend any of the specialty cocktails or the food that I tried here.
