The risotto rocks!
I know most people come here for the great wine selection. They have a very cool bar area. But honestly, for me, it is all about the risotto. It is as good as any Italian restaurant I've been to. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Desserts are nit anything fantastic, but the meal was great, so that was good enough for me!

I've seen this several times walking by and finally decided to try it. Made a reservation via Open Table same night which was great. Arrived about 25 minutes early and we were sat right away. The hostess was very friendly as well as the waitstaff. Order two glasses of white wine and I didn't take the name down. For meals, we shared the French Onion soup. Now you must love cheese...because it had the most cheese, I've ever seen on top of French Onion soup! I did like that there was enough cheese to have some in every bite..so no complaints here. Escargot was next up and tasty....the bread dipped nicely into the leftover butter sauce. The didn't have the pork tenderloin as stated on the menu, substituting with pork chops. I can't recall the last time I've had a great pork chop, it was delicious! And the sauce could have been more it was soooo good. Lamb shank was the second entree and didn't disappoint with the polenta on the side. Gravy/sauce was to die for. No dessert on this round...but I will keep in mind an try other items on their menu.

We reserved a table and requested an outside table on Open table. The testaurant had no reservation and No outdoor table. We were led to a less favorable indoor table in a sea of available tables and after some argument with the officious hostess got a better table. It was under a music blaring speaker; we asked that it be turned downโฆmore argument and eventual cooperation. My husband ordered a Cabernet Sauvignon; what was served and left on the table was a white wine identified as CS. The server apparently did not know the difference until the error was pointed out. We were asked three times before our drinks arrived if we were ready to order dinner.
The food on there other hand is imaginative, well prepared and delicious Too bad this admirable kitchen is not well represented by the front of the house. Dinner for two was $200.
Bar a Vin !
Simpatico restaurant and wine bar. Good selection of the delicious beverage from different part of the world. Food was average but this a nice place to hang out with friends and family this liberating summer.

My daughter and I stayed on 120th Street near Malcolm X and found this wine bar/restaurant right in our block! We had a wonderful dinner of branzino (as good as any I have had in Italy or the States!) with olives, tomatoes and asparagus, and salad with tiger shrimp. They advertised, but did not have, a floating island. The wine selections were good. Harlem has some great French restaurants, and be sure to find the Senegalese French pastry shop, which has some of the best croissants and pain aux raisins outside of France!

We stopped in here for the first time over the weekend. Upon entering a girl muttered "brunch is over" and walked away. Well hello to you too! We asked the hostess if they were closed and she said they are open and serving lite bites- no problem! Took our order but after that we literally did not see our waitress ever again! A busboy brought our food out. No one asked how it was or if we wanted another round, which initially we did but eventually we just wanted to leave. No one in sight for the check. Waited another 10 mins after we were done but still no one so we went in to find help and waited at the bar to try and ask- it took another 5 mins for someone to ask if we needed something. When we left no one said bye.. absolutely terrible service. There are way better options in the area, I would never return.

Great bar in a great location.visited twice in a week with my friends for drinks n dinner.the burger was tasty but the chicken breast plate was disaster.
Overall I enjoyed myself both of my visits and definitely will go back
Great Atmosphere
Loved this place, really buzzing, barman friendly, great food, loved Happy Hour when everyone seemed to arrive and chill out.
Thank you to the Barman for giving us a great last night, hope to back one day.
Be careful
Enjoyed dinner here. However, they made a mistake when presenting the bill. Than asked if they could charge again and promised to reverse the first mistake, but never did. Now a hassle with the credit card company.
Personnel not trained sufficiently and manager also unable to take care of the mistake properly
A real gem
There for lunch on a summer Saturday with six of us. Great looking place with classic tin room and interesting menu. Staff is professional and warm, food was great. Pitchers of mimosas and bellinis were at many of the tables. Up front there is a long two sided bar that would be great for just two or even a lone diner, rather like the shared tables at Pain Quotidien but with snazzier food. On a wide boulevard, the doors open for outside dining too. Overall, highly recommended.
