Great place to stay in Napa!
Great place to stay in the heart of Napa Valley! Our room was recently refreshed and beautiful. Service was excellent. My spouse and I prefer white wines and the concierge was so helpful in guiding us to local wineries to suit our needs. The hotel restaurant was great and we especially enjoyed the service there. I was especially grateful that the restaurant staff remembered my distinct dietary needs at each visit. Will definitely stay here again!

I have a stay booked at the property six months from now. They require full prepayment with the ability to cancel within 14 days of the stay. I gotta say, this is pretty outrageous given the fact that they now have access to my money interest free for six months. Please be aware of this when you are considering this property.

My husband and I just returned from five nights here at the Bardessono. I could not recommend this hotel more. All of the staff, from the front desk, to valet, to wait staff to housekeeping, and management were attentive, friendly and helpful. The grounds were perfect. The attention to detail in the rooms is exquisite. We loved the outdoor shower, reading out on the patio, the gas fireplace. The steam shower and jet tub made it hard to want to leave the room when you have your own private spa. The furnishings and decor were perfect - modern and clean yet comfortable. And the fridge was always stocked with water and soda. If I could give six stars I would. Worth every penny and I would love to visit again.

We stayed for a quick anniversary weekend getaway. Unlike other Napa resorts this one is situated right in the heart of yountville. You can walk to amazing and iconic restaurants. You have a short drive to most of the best wineries in the area. The service was absolutely top notch. I screwed up putting in an incorrect credit card number, they still held the reservation. They called and were so professional when I was totally in the wrong. The service was excellent and the valet was crazy fast. The food was great, the pool was super fun, and it had stunning views of the Napa valley. It’s definitely worth the splurge for an anniversary or honeymoon or if you are just feeling spendy :). I definitely will be booking it for us our next anniversary. Every single person who worked there when we checked in wished us happy anniversary which shows their dedication to service.

AMAZING!!! Highly recommend. We stayed for 1 night in a suite with a private hot tub. The suite was beautiful, the welcome board and wine was stunning. We felt so welcome by all the staff. They have a car to take you to wineries which we took advantage off!! We had spa treatments which were also really good. What a cool place, we will be returning!!

My wife and I visited this magnificent property as a belated anniversary gift to ourselves. We are seasoned travelers and we generally aim to stay at "nicer" hotels and resorts. This may have been the best property we've ever visited. The property is spotless. The garden is incredibly zen and peaceful. Have a glass of wine and enjoy the tranquility. There are countless ways to visit wineries and vineyards and tasting rooms and restaurants - many of these are within walking distance, but there are shuttles and car services to take you around the valley. I would nor rely on uber or lift because some of the vineyards are deep in the mountains and cell services can be tough, for both you and your uber driver. For these, the hotel can recommend and help you schedule reliable, clean and professional car service. The fitness center is located on the pool deck. It was well appointed and so enjoyable to work out in the dun, enjoying incredible views of the mountain ranges. It is my understanding that they are renovating the pool and fitness center (as of 11/23) so if these things are your jam, just call ahead and check the status of that - it was posted on their website too. Lucy is the restaurant on property. It is outstanding both in terms of food as well as wines. With all of the wonderful restaurants within walking distance, Lucy does more than holds its own - it is outstanding, with amazing service. Breakfast can be a sit down meal if you want - or complimentary coffee, scones and muffins, which is what we opted for before starting our day. I highly, highly recommend this property, and I cannot wait to visit again.

Beautiful hotel! Easy and close access to everything. The hospitality is the best in the business! Ray and the entire staff were absolutely incredible. The food at Lucy was wonderful, the grounds were peaceful.. Thanks! We will be back! Jodie and Chad

We arrived on a Tuesday and we were able to check in to our room early. The valet guys are just wonderful and they really understand customer service. Big shout out to Enrique, he was extremely helpful and just always ready to serve with a smile. This just sets the tone in my opinion. Jordan at the front desk was a pleasure as well! Andrea at the concierge desk was quite helpful getting us a driver for our winery visits on short notice. Christopher at the Lucy bar made some tasty cocktails and was a pro as well! This property is just stunning and the rooms are perfection. All the details have been carefully thought about. We stayed in the Tufa suite for 2 nights and the villa for 2 nights. Amazing! You really feel yourself relaxing when you are there. The Lucy restaurant was also awesome! We had breakfast 3 times and dinner once. Lots of good restaurants around town. We used the Lexus coupe one morning, that was fun! Good job to whoever is in charge of training here, or knowing what kind of people to hire. All were truly servant hearted. We loved our stay and will be back again.

Loved everything about this hotel. The front drive staff really anchor the experience and are each so warm, helpful, and happy to be there. The spa was lovely, and the room was nicely done. The bar was a let down, while we heard great things the space was dated and not appealing at all. Staff was very nice however. Breaking was wonderful and the location makes waking up a pleasure as you can grab a coffee and stroll through picturesque Yountville. Can’t wait to return.

Service here is impeccable and warm. Accommodations are stunning. Pricey but worth every penny. Staying in Yountville allowed for walking to restaurants, tasting rooms and coffee shops and bakeries. Wish we could go back tomorrow.
Be the first to ReplyEXCELLENT Massage and Facial!
This is a really aesthetically pleasing hotel - lovely landscaping, beautiful rooms - but the go to feature was the spa! Michelle P. (apparently there are three Michelle's) gave me a wonderful Vtox facial - noticable difference- and great product advice. And Georgina gave me an AMAZING massage - she has knot radar, and a finger strength to really get into knots that you would never guess from looking at this slim petite woman. Both worth a detour even if you aren't lucky enough to be staying at the hotel!

I have always wanted to stay here. At over $1000 a night I expected the best…sadly disappointed. Clearly understaffed you have to wait for everything, The same person who checked us in, valeted our car and served us a drink in the bar. No pool service at all, you had to sit on someone’s wet towels or replace yourself. We ran out of toilet paper in our room because no one serviced it. Called to get a car and they said call an Uber. Lol. The minimal staff here is nice but they clearly need help…I have never posted a bad review…ever…but this was just sad. I want my money back
Be the first to ReplyLovely property, perfect location, great staff
We've stayed at this hotel a number of times, and have always had a great experience. Recently we stayed in a King/Queen Suite, which was a great set up for my husband, myself and our young son. The rooms are large and spacious and clean, with huge bathrooms and a small outdoor patio. Staff is attentive. Location is perfect, right in the town of Yountville, close to wonderful restaurants and bakeries and a fantastic "art walk" that we took with our son. We were able to cross the street every morning to pick up croissants and coffee at Model Bakery. The rooftop pool was lovely with gorgeous views. The staff at the rooftop pool and Randy in reservations were extremely helpful and kind. Overall a great choice when visiting Napa.

Amazing anniversary stay. Amazing amenities and room (booked the suite with private wading pool). We felt very well taken care of and enjoyed the easy access to nearby restaurants and bakeries. Will come back again for another special occasion.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and looooooved it. We appreciated the upgrade to the Tufa suite — the steam shower was heavenly. The service was top notch (literally the staff at the front ran to the parking lot to get our car). We used the car service within Yountville which saved us the hassle of parking or getting an Uber. We also had breakfast and lunch at the Lucy Restaurant which was very satisfying. Definitely a 5 star experience!
Be the first to ReplyGreat stay, rooms a bit dated
Bardessono is a beautiful, quiet resort. The grounds are impeccable. Bar area and morning continental breakfast are very good. I did order room service one night, food was decent and came very quickly. I had an in room massage which was very good and super convenient. The staff is AWESOME, super attentive and accommodating. A few down sides; for the cost of this resort, I would expect the rooms to be as impeccably maintained as the grounds. Although very nice, my room was showing its age, chipped paint, dinged furniture and wear on the wood appointments etc. It is by no means run down, but I was surprised that the resort would not take the opportunity to do some superficial maintenance during covid. The beds are comfortable and run a bit on the firm side. I had a steam king suite with outdoor shower and would highly recommend it, if are in need of some relaxing. The biggest negative for me was the "gym". I expect a resort at this price point to have fully working, high end equipment gym . Although Pelotons were available (2), the one I road was in great need of maintenance, the handlebars are stuck in the current position, pedals were rusted and just overall the bike was clearly showing the mileage. Also, the gym opens at sunrise, as it is on the pool deck. Well, sunrise is about 6:45 - 7:00 AM depending on the fog level. If you are an early gym person or even from the East coast getting in an early workout and this is an important amenity for you, I would definitely look at alternate locations. The front desk overnight support did say I could use the gym at 6:00 AM but it was definitely very chilly (open air on one side) and kind of uncomfortable by yourself and dark on the roof deck. Overall this is a beautiful resort, with amazing staff and terrific location in Yountville. I would stay again, but likely research other locations at this price point.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Stay, Amazing Service
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The service is what really blew us away. Our needs were anticipated and every member of the Bardessono team was fantastic. The on-site restaurant was one of our trip favorites. Expected to eat there out of convenience and found the food better than our higher end choices around the valley. The spa was also amazing as was the rooftop pool. The concierge, Matt, was so wonderful and really took care of us! We had a perfect stay.
Be the first to ReplyOnly if you care about location
I was terribly underwhelmed after our recent stay. Aside from an ideal location in Yountville, the hotel was understaffed, rooms where dated, dark and gloomy and it was virtually impossible to find staff around to help. For the high price tag, it's not better than your average Marriott property. After two days, we left at checked into the Auberge du Soleil, which was a 5/5. Unless you need to be in Yountville, I would stay elsewhere.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights for our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. The room was very relaxing, quiet and private. The hotel itself was beautiful with art and sculptures throughout the walkways. The staff was friendly and helpful as were the spa services. The restaurant Lucy's located in the hotel was delicious and one of the top meals of our trip. I would highly recommend this hotel.
