😍 5/5 - Finally scored a decent reservation at this steak house

Finally scored a decent reservation at this steak house staple. I waited longer than my dry aged New York strip, which was cooked to perfection. Usually, I do not give off five stars without a handful of visits to ensure consistency but this establishment met all those and some by a long shot. Service was stellar from the start. We arrived a little earlier than our reservation, no problem grabbed a drink by the bar. Although it was hard to get a bartenders attention standing behind bar patrons whom were already sitting at the bar.. no problem we managed. We were seated a little after our reservation and greeted again immediately by our server. Drink order taken. We eventually ordered oysters(east coast only available) which were tasty, fresh and garnished with the freshest sides. My girlfriend ordered the 10oz traditional filet mignon medium/rare topped with roasted garlic(so tender was like slicing butter), I ordered the 14oz 42dry-aged bone in New York strip medium/rare, which left my mouth watering for more. So tender I thought I was cutting butter as well. They give you a side of seasoning salt to add to ur steak as preferred. Which we loved. Also a side of garlic/parsley butter i believe(might be wrong but was still mouth watering). And of course we ordered the roasted bone marrow w/side of caramelized onions...and omg., for 25.95 you get 5 huge bones w/ a hefty half loaf of fresh baked sour dough bread(full on drool mode).. ok ok... now off to the sides we ordered the button mushrooms which had too be the best I've ever had... and I've had some mushrooms from all over. The Mac and cheese was just as great, definitely in my top 10 Mac and cheese categories.. from a steak house stance in my top five. Unfortunately, my girlfriend and I did not have room for dessert in which we both regret as the whole dessert menu seemed unremarkable.. not too mention the dessert espresso martini sounded just as good with a slice of cake. Overall counting the days before I return.. classic setting, I hear the basement is more intimate and shaped like a cellar, upstairs is little more loud, you see the open bar and beautiful chandeliers. Drinks tried, mezcal corpse reviver(tasted like a classic "last word").This most enjoyed drink order was the Bavette's punch with mezcal instead of rum. If I'm not mistaken..(thank me later)
