Chef Jose Andres' restaurant deserves a Michelin star. The menu, ambiance and customer service are well deserving of recognition. We made an early dinner reservation so we were able to enjoy the nice decor and quiet environment all to ourselves for a little while before the crowd trickled in. I would suggest reserving a table by their floor to ceiling glass window with the view of the Chicago River. Very romantic. Our server was very helpful with the menu and his recommendations were amazing as well as some of the other appetizer and entree options. We enjoyed the not-so-typical- onion soup consisting of apple, brioche, foie gras presented "cappucino" style. We also were complemented with a very instagrammable Patatas Bravas. The foieffle was a "snack" to go back for - air waffle, foie espuma, peanut butter and honey. I loved my Spanish Octopus and my husband feasted on Wagyu beef. Other interesting selections on the menu included dragonfruit ceviche (with tuna), Japanese eel taco (bbq), and peruvian potato, sea urchin and huancaina espuma. For those that love foie gras, they give a very generous helping. For the liquor connoisseur, the cocktail and beverage menu is extensive. The staff were friendly, courteous, well trained, and professional, which of course makes all the difference. I will definitely go back and perhaps try the eel tacos or the sea urchin, or...the next time I visit Chicago. Que aproveche!
