Not worth the money
Family of 9 to celebrate graduation. Wine and drinks were very expensive and not that great. We had two bottles of wine that were put in wine buckets to chill out of our reach. Entrees were insanely priced and small. Mashed or baked potatoes for over $13.00!!!!!!!!! Could have had ten pounds. Food was decent but very small portions. Very disappointed. Service was slow at best. Would we return? NO.

A beautiful restaurant with michelin star service! The food was outstanding and the service was the best I’ve experienced so far in usa, the wine was beautiful we had porterhouse steak to share with home fries and asparagus followed by tiramisu with pouring cream there was lovely music playing in the background just a beautiful place to be

My wife and I had dinner here…when the waiter asked us about drinks,I asked about the “house wines”
There where 2 Cabernets…
I ordered one….had another during dinner.
When the check came I was unpleasantly surprised that the “ house wine “ was $22 a glass!
So…. 2 glasses was $44! What?
In a nicer restaurant a “house wine” is usually $10-$15…..
This was a sneaky underhanded way to increase the check!
I emailed Benjamin’s and they told me that some customers are “insulted “ being informed of the price!
Really?
Stay away from here….they will RIP you off!
They are not an upstanding establishment….
They use bait and switch tactics and put surprises on the check at the end of the meal…
There are plenty of steakhouses to choose from…
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Happy Birthday
Went to restaurant for our son’s’ birthday. It was also restaurant week. Very crowded. Food delicious. We had two children with us and waiter made sure they got their meals quickly. We had steaks and fish. They were all delicious.
At the end of dinner the waiter informed us that they gave us a 10% discount because they felt the service was slow.
That never happened to us before. So nice of them to be so considerate.
They have a tent for people who want to be semi-outdoors.
Perfect in every way...EXCEPT...
Outdoor seating is still a concern due to Covid. Benjamin's tent set up brings it to new heights. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, putting in an order immediately of mac and cheese to satisfy our grandkids ages 1 and 3 1/2. Assorted rolls were delicious as were the Bacon slabs and Baked Clams. Porterhouse for 3 easily fed 4 hearty eating adults and the children. Creamless Creamed Spinach was a great accompaniment. I would have given the restaurant 5 stars if it hadn't been for the side of Lobster Mac and Cheese which contained no lobster. I didnt want to make a fuss or my daughter would have said, "Ma, you're just like grandma!"

Consistant stale bread is an insult at an expensive steahouse, wonder bread would be better, but if you care about your customers,Rockland Bakery delivers fresh wholesale rolls and bread,$13 dollar fries should feed the table,The shlaag was watered down.I suggest a trip to Peter Luger to see how its done correctly.Notify me when you improve or I am well done.Such an easy fix, makes no sense.

Went there yesterday to celebrate my wife's Birthday. Terrible experience. Service was poor to say the least. Food was mediocre at best. My steak was cold. They reheated the same steak that went from a med rare to medium. Very dissatisfied. Food and service on a Cruise Ship is better.

All I can say is Wow! Six of us went for a business meeting and we had the works. We started with the seafood tower. Everyone got a half lobster and shared the rest. For dinner, we had three types of steak, all sliced. It was superb. The Porterhouse won the taste test.

Steak lover heaven! Celebrated my nephew’s birthday here and one of the best experience! Service is top notch!
Location: It is located in White Plains. The restaurant is huge and quite classy. There is indoor and outdoor seating! Very compliant with covid precautions. There is a huge parking lot on the side of the restaurant.
Service: the servers are very nice! Very knowledgeable in what’s on the menu. Very friendly as well. They greet you as soon as you enter the restaurant.
Food: If you love steak, this where you should go! Some of their foods are not that great but most of them are good! SIZZLING CANADIAN BACON: omg you must order this!! It was soo good! Thick and so juicy! MAINE LOBSTER: whole lobster and taste fresh! CALAMARI: its crispy but I felt like the meat is hard, not my favorite. BAKED CLAMS: It was okay to be honest, I thought there is a lot of flavor but it was okay. GRILLED JUMBO SHRIMP: this one is okay too, fresh but felt like its too expensive for the serving. RIBEYE STEAK: so juicy and flavorful! One of my favorite here! I ordered it as medium well and they did it perfect! ORGANIC ROAST CHICKEN: for 29 bucks I felt it is too expensive! I thought it was a whole chicken but it was just 2 small piece of meat. CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE: the cake itself is good, the lava is sweet and vanilla ice cream is perfect to cut off the sweetness. NY CHEESECAKE: it was alright, normal cheesecake that you’ll get somewhere else.
Price rating: 9/10, too expensive but we are celebrating a birthday so it was alright. We are 9 and we paid almost 1k including tip.
Might come back here if there is a special occasion! Get the bacon and ribeye!
Extremely disappointed
I went there for my birthday in January of 2020. Everything started out perfectly but then turned into a disaster. I spoke to someone in their corporate office and was immediately told I would receive a gift card for my inconvenience. The lovely woman that I spoke to is no longer working with them. It took a month to receive a gift card but I was pleasant surprised at the amount. It was very generous. Due to me having to have back surgery which was then cancelled due to a heart attack and kovid the restaurant was closed for a while. I called in October of 2020 and was told I could still use the card it would not expire. I spoke to someone in the corporate office by the name of Dee and was told she would speak to the owners about using the card. Supposedly she spoke to the owners twice and they said even given the circumstances of my illness and covid the card had expired and they would not reissue it to me. I find this absolutely appalling and totally unacceptable. I hope that everyone who reads this understands my point. I have been to Benjamin's many times before and I will never go back after this.
