Excellent
Great beer. Great atmosphere. Great staff. That's all you really need to know and you should just go and seek it out.
Be the first to ReplyGreat beer selection, awesome nachos
This is a fantastic little pub with a great craft beer selection with everything from light lagers to double-IPAs... something for everyone. It's in a really cool setting and great location, and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable. We had the nachos, they're a great size for two people, and are really tasty. Would definitely recommend as one of the best places in Manhattan to get a great beer.
Be the first to ReplyGreat beer selection for a summer alfresco people watching session
Title says it all really. Big beer selection covering many types and countries, very friendly staff who are more than happy to help guide you through the maze (even when the pub itself is heaving with people queuing for their orders) and convenient tables outside for sipping on the good stuff in NY summer humidity while observing the hustle and bustle on the streets.

Came in for a few beers before dinner, great selection of some really fine ales that tasted very good too. The bar has a great vibe and some great entertainment is provided by the guy on the door!!
Be the first to ReplyBest little beer joint.
We always stop in when in New York. Great beer joint in the heart of the east village. Great tap list and friendly staff and locals. Never ate here but I am sure it is good.
Be the first to ReplyI don't want to tell you about this place
I don't want to miss out on a table so I almost don't want to write a review, but we love Blind Tiger too much not to encourage you to stop by. It gets crazy busy so aim for a weekday mid-day or earlier on Saturday/Sunday, especially if you want to sit inside (recommended). The beer list is consistently diverse and the staff is very helpful if you are on the fence about what you want. Get a seat by the windows if you choose to sit inside--the people watching is just the best. It works both in warm weather when they open the place up and in the winter when the fireplace gets going. The music selections are always fun to listen to as well.
Be the first to ReplyGreat spot for a relaxing drink
We stopped in after dinner in the Village for a beer and to unwind. It was relaxing and comfortable with a NY feel to it. If you’re looking for glitz and glamor go somewhere else. But if you want a friendly place with a great beer list, check it out. Could be a good place to kill an hour while you’re waiting for a table somewhere else.
I don’t think they have an extensive cocktail list either but if you’re ok with that, give it a shot.
cozy little bar
It’s a small bar with a roaring fireplace. Very cozy vibe. We first found it on a rainy Sunday and we were the only ones there. On our most recent visit, it was packed on a Saturday around noon. They have a good beer selection. The bar space is small but adds to the charm. It’s dark inside. Easy to lose track of time. The crowd included solo drinkers, families having brunch, and regulars playing chess. Great vibe, great bar.
Be the first to ReplyNeat brewery
The group I visited New York with included a guy who owns and runs a brewery in Pensacola. This was within walking distance of our restaurant as he really wanted to visit. Like our hotel, it was much younger and hipper than me, but I enjoyed my time and the beer. I am not a big beer guy but all I heard about is that no place and more uniquely brewed beers from around the country than this place. It was crowded but during our first beer we found some seats. Again I enjoyed my time here.

The bartender was too busy trying to get the drinks across the line on a not so busy afternoon. Didn’t ask me what size beer I wanted, did not give me option to taste like other places .....
People are right about locals - if you aren’t a local I don’t believe the welcome is as friendly.
The locals also don’t seem that friendly. Anyway ......this bar came recommended, glad I tried it out so I can wipe it off my repeat visit plan 😊
Amazing Stout
Met a friend who lives in NYC here one evening as he says it is the best pub in NYC....and he wasn't wrong! Yes, it was crowded but that helps give it the atmosphere it has; the bar was well tended so service was quick and friendly. The choice of ales is impressive and the stout was so chocolatey and yummy that it went down really well, pint after pint!
Would definitely come back!
Noisy but that’s a New York atmospheric bar.
Good beers. Great gratis cheese from Murrays on Bleaker. The place is always packed and loud however the atmosphere is second to none.
Be the first to ReplyThe best pub in Manhattan
This is our favourite watering hole in New York. We make a point of going there on every visit to New York. Situated in the village it has all the characteristics of a good English pub plus about 50 craft beers on tap which constantly alternating with different beers. Great atmosphere and good pub grub.
Great for lunch!!
I went with adult son to adopt a new doggie for his Brooklyn pad and the agency was closed till 2 pm so son suggested this place (he's an artist and he did their menus!). He ordered us 2 craft beers and I ordered a quesadilla and he some wings and both were very good. It is a nice atmosphere and that day they were paving the street outside our window. It was fun watching them do that especially since we could not smell nor too loudly hear what they were doing. Lunch bill was about 50 w/o tip.......(Oh, son got a cute 4 year old Yorkie, named Ralphie. He's a delight!
