The definitely honor the title on their site as the "#1 Italian in the Caribbean" Fresh, flaky calamari served with a beautiful house marinara, the absolute BEST carbonara you will ever have (PERIOD), and a beautiful atmosphere with incredible, personal service. Pastas, sauces and broths prepared fresh daily and you can absolutely taste the difference. I truly can't believe how good this was and this place truly helped me experience food as a work of art. Do not miss this place if you're in San Juan for dinner!

Excellent food! So fresh. Everything is cooked at the moment. The sauces, pasta, everything. The service was excellent as well. You have to visit this place if you like pasta. They have also meat (steak)! Highly recommended! Trust me, you wont regret it.

We went to this place after waiting ten minutes without even being greeted at cueva Del Mar and were not disappointed! The polpette app with the sugo sauce was delicious, and we both loved our pasta dishes (carbonara was to die for!). Great and attentive service. Make sure to come before 9:30 if you want a table

Shows up to a dark restaurant. Others with reservations showed up no sign in the window explaining, no outgoing VM explaining the reason, no reply to inquiries. Does anyone have info??

Recently my wife and I were accompanied by two other couples for our first trip to Bocca Osteria Romana. Our table was ready upon our arrival, but the service was somewhat lacking. The food was good, but the portions were a bit small considering the prices. When our orders werefinally ready to be served, each person's order came out at different times, mine was last. Since I am a slow eater, averyone else was through and looking at me to hurry up and finish. That night, I was only drinking water, not wine as was the rest of the table. The water glasses were very small, I wiuld guess about 4-6 ounces. I had to keep asking the waiter for more water (which was room temperature, no ice). I guess they just want to sell more wine?! Overall, Bocca was a nice place but with a lot of ambient noise. Would I go back a second time -- maybe. It's not like there is a shortage of upper end Italian food in Fort Worth.

The focaccia bread was divine. It was so good I got a second order. The waitstaff provided great customer service. Everyone loved their food. I ordered the shrimp scampi pasta and it was absolutely delicious. The fried calamari was delicious too. My dinner mates that ordered the lasagna said it was the best they ever had. The down was when the restaurant got crowded and the waitstaff took longer and longer to bring anything additional to you. It was still worth the wait.
Great choice for a nice Italian dinner
We had a wonderful dinner here. As tourists we felt like we found a place where local people go for a nice dinner out with friends. They were busy but took good care of us. The pasta was cooked perfectly and came in large portions. The setting was fun and lively. We would love to go back again.
Definitely Worth It
Great Italian restaurant near old San Juan. Loved every aspect of our dinner. Wonderful pasta and desert. The wine list is not giant, but there are plenty of good options and it was all pretty reasonably prices.

Great Italian old school restaurant. Gnocchi was amazing and the sauce was just like home in Jersey. Servers are attentive and pleasant. Every time we visit PR this is a must for us. Only negative no espresso !!! I complain every time.
Very good Italian!
This place is a local PR spot outside the tourist areas. Food was really good! Arancini, meatballs, pasta puttenesca and carbonara were all very tasty! Service was also very good. We would go back.
A slice of Italian Heaven
First time in PR and came across this restaurant on Trip advisor. Ate there last night (7 May 2023) Being Italian I was hesitant but from the moment we walked in I could tell it was going to be good. Very unassuming restaurant with a vintage vibe of old world Italy. Service was impeccable. Greeted immediately upon entering. Warm and friendly. Ordered the suppli and calamari as appetizers. Loved both. Calamari was lightly breaded. Sauce was amazing. I ordered the gnocchi with a sweet white sauce with pears and pistachio. Daughter had the Cacio e Pepe. Husband ordered the lasagne. Everything was cooked to perfection. I loved my gnocchi. The sauce was a little sweet for me but the gnocchi was excellent, and coming from me that says a lot as I make my own gnocchi and am hard to please. He texture was perfecto! Serving sizes were the right amount. Not too much and not too little. For dessert, we got the Panna Cotta. One of my favorite desserts because it’s light and not overly sweet. Bocca did not disappoint. Truly a beautiful dessert that has a hint of sweetness that Bocca paired perfectly with a blueberry and blackberry sauce which complimented the barely sweet panna cotta. Heaven! When I’m PR, make a reservation and head over to Bocca. Bon Appetite!

Great Neighborhood Dinner
Went here on a Friday night and lucky we were early. We did not have a reservation, but was able to get in. By the time we left there was a large amount of people on the wait list waiting outside. It's a small place, so no room inside and only about 4 seats at the bar. Make a reservation if you can. Food was great and they were able to adjust as we needed. They did use a lot of black pepper for my taste, but I probably should have asked to limit that too since it was on the menu. Our server was Luis F and he was absolutely wonderful. He truly cared if we liked our food and experience. The only downside was that I ordered a cosmo which they made with orange juice since they didn't have cranberry juice. Wish they would have told me first, but I "suffered" thru the drink as is then switched to wine - which they have a very nice selection.

Sadly to say, but food was far less than before. We order a bottle of wine, actually good, and after the second bottle, there were no more bottles left. Then we order Insalata Caprese, when it comes, they don’t have balsamic vinegar. So we decided to order The Ribye, they told us that only four were available. Ok, but the restaurant just opens at 4:00 pm when we arrived!!! Our Caccio & Pepe lack of pepper, so we ask for some. They brought us the full Kirkland jar to use and return it back because it was the only left at the kitchen. Then my pasta with clans arrives, with only 6 clams shells without any taste at all, not even butter. Our Ribye were not cooked properly, thet took it back and then returned burned. Service was great! I am a local customer, but wiil not return!!$

* MaternalRecord73, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* MaternalRecord73 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to MaternalRecord73 for any questions Peter may have as MaternalRecord73 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* MaternalRecord73 now uses their connections at Bocca Osteria Romana Santurce to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If MaternalRecord73 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, MaternalRecord73 receives the $200 reward which is credited to MaternalRecord73's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
