I've worked in fine dining before the service here is absolutely horrible! The food is nothing special. Maybe It was a bad night .

Great atmosphere with a cozy bar in the heart of the theater district. We ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Lasagna. Both were good. The Lasagna is a heathy portion. Unfortunately my Spaghetti Carbonara for dinner seemed like it was made fresh for lunch and was sitting around. It was okay but I've had much better with a lower price point. With that said, this would have been a three star rating if not for the service provided by PETE!!!! What a great man who made our dinner very enjoyable, memorable, and fun. With lesser food expectations I would go back in a heartbeat to sit in Pete's section. Again, the food is good for family dining which I believe is the theme.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserโฆ
Be the first to ReplyOver priced in my opinion.
Service wasn't very good. Waited for an hour and a half for our food. I ordered Parmesan chicken and it was dry dry dry. So sad, It was a total bust for my birthday.

My fiancรฉ and I stopped in on Sunday evening and sat at the downstairs bar. We just got done seeing Sweeney Todd. OMG, that was so good! Anyway, this review is about Ava not the show. Ava was amazing. She was very nice and recommend this great appetizer, I forgot what it was called but it was warm bread with this cheese. Yum! Anyways, although she was so busy with being the only bartender/server she still made us feel like we were the only ones there. I saw how she interacted with all her other bar patrons and tables and she was so great and friendly! The food was good. Drinks were AMAZING! My fiancรฉ and I split the Cesar Salad, meatballs and the cheese bread I can't remember. I would go back. Not for the food just to talk to Ava and have more of her awesome cocktails! Thanks for a great night!

The service from Kareem was even better! Great experience. Highly recommend. They were thoughtful and able to accommodate our schedule as we headed to see Lion King directly after.

All I can say is overpriced and overrated!! Ordered 2 braised short ribs that came out within 10 minutes. Could this be why all the food tastes flavorless? How do you make dried out chicken parmigiana with watery tasting noodles? They can. I don't recommend and won't be returning.
Be the first to ReplyI've been going to Bond 45 in NYC since 2005.
Yes, the food is wonderful and it's convenient to every Broadway theater but it's the staff that makes the place. Especially now! I don't think they've ever had as great a group of bartenders as they have currently. Kasia, Pete, Antonio, Ava, Gino, Salami, Ivanka...I have a neurological/anxiety disorder and I consider it my safe space/home away from home in the craziness of the theater district. I know that, no matter when I go, there will be a smiling, welcoming face at the bar where I can relax and chat while waiting for friends to arrive. Post-pandemic, I'm at the bar more often than I am at a table for dinner. However, when I do come with a group of people for dinner, Emmanuel is the server for whom I always ask. He's fun and charming, professional beyond words, and brings real class to the place. I look forward to the next 18 years of visiting Bond 45! (Those few years it was closed as it moved to a new space before the pandemic were sad years for me.)
Be the first to ReplyGreat service.
It's tuck away downtown, but you do see the billboard. The food was delicious. I didn't like that I had to be rushed by a certain due time to finish my food due to reservations when there was tables empty the entire time I was there. The wait staff was Excellent!!!

This little restaurant is tucked in the thick of midtown Manhattan across from the Marriott Marquis. If you wish to have delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere with attentive weight staff definitely check out this place my husband and I came in and we're promptly sat at a great little booth with a view of a beautiful mural of a Hollywood legend restaurant scene. We enjoyed trying to identify the celebrities in the painting. We had a very nice salad and shared a pizza and we were pleasantly...not stuffed (this is a compliment since american restaurants typically overserve, it sometimes is way too much). You must also try the garlic focaccia bread baskets. All I can say, is I need to figure out how to make this. It was stupendous. If you get a chance, and need a place to go, that isn't fast food and a great place to rest your feet, while enjoying a great meal... you must try Bond 45.

Everything we ate was amazing!! 10/10 chefs kiss!! I got the lasagna, my friend got this lemon shrimp Alfredo? That was my favorite and the ceasar salad was the best I've ever had lol

Bond 35 exceeded my expectations! I went with a group who reserved the back room. The wait staff was on point with passed apps. The table shared the calamari and anti past, which were generous portions. We also had salads to start and I ordered the ravioli. Usually I am hesitant to order ravioli at restaurants because you run the risk of having 5 pieces of pasta for dinner, but these were filling. We finished with the chocolate cake for dessert. We were there for over 3 hours and never felt rushed , which I appreciated. overall a good experience.
Be the first to ReplyVery touristy spot.
We were seated downstairs in a dining area with very dated decoration. The server, Kareem, was polite and reasonably efficient (although seemed over committed to too many tables) but the food and drink was not of a good standard. The pepperoni pizza is served with honey on it and we asked that it be brought out on the side. While we did receive the honey on the side, the pizza was still sweet and when we told Kareem this he took the pizza away and then brought it back claiming that we were wrong! It was 100% sweet and our party of 5 all agreed on this. Lastly we asked for a latte and a cup of warm milk arrived. No coffee at all...just warm milk! I don't think I've ever experienced this anywhere! In fairness they fixed the issue and brought us a new coffee in a to go cup but as we were off to see a show immediately afterwards then this couldn't be taken into the theater anyway. I had high hopes for this restaurant after reading many positive reviews but our experience was not great at all.

I came to Bond 45 on a Friday night around 9 pm, and it was not that busy. After hearing about the place online, I thought it would be a great date night restaurant. However, it was one of the worst dining experiences I ever had. Food:I ordered the garlic bread as an appetizer along with the New York Strip Steak and Filet Mignon at medium and medium rare, respectively. The garlic bread came out hot and was really good. It was honestly the only good thing about the restaurant. The steaks were super chewy and hard. The quality of the steaks did not match the price point, and honestly, it felt like Texas Roadhouse quality. It was very disappointing. Service:The service was also not that great. Our server barely came to our table and attended to other tables more despite it not being that busy at all. You can see how empty the restaurant was on a Friday night in the pictures lol. The server kept forgetting our items, such as drinks and food. A table of four came in after us and got their meals and checks before we did, which was not a big deal, but it just felt like he was avoiding us on purpose. We also forgot our card at the restaurant and called the next day trying to describe the characteristics of the card only to be condescendingly talked to by the worker over the phone. She was unwilling to work with us to identify our card and angrily told us to talk to the manager in person, instead. Overall:Get food somewhere else! The food was mid and the service was worst!

I am a coffee snob, and usually do not like restaurant coffee, but there coffee was very good. Their blueberry pancakes were very good. I asked for scrambled eggs dry and they were! I'm not a morning potato person but their roasted pepper potato hash was delicious! We will certainly come back here for breakfast.

Yummmmmmm!!!! I got brunch here before seeing beetlejuice and it was awesome! I got the eggs (I put cheese on them). The potatoes were cooked perfect and it can with a healthy portion of salad. The challah bread toast came a little later and they didn't bring any kind of butter or jam but we didn't have time to ask for some before we had to leave. The rose lemonade was lovely! There's a 12 inch cheese stick! It was yummy. Also the pizzas were good and one was enough for two people to share. Comfortable seating, we went downstairs and it was more quiet and comfortable. Cool art too! I'd go back for sure

This place is fantastic! My husband got the lemon chicken and I got the fettuccine bolognese and both were delicious. The wine is also top notch. We were served by Kareem who absolutely went above and beyond. A wonderful experience all around

Brunch menu looked fantastic ! ย Was not expecting pre-made waffles and chicken fingers. ย When I asked the water what kind of chicken it came with he said white meat never mentioned chicken fingers which I think were the frozen kind. ย And to mention how sweet the waffles were, I think these are from a package. The eggs & potatoes were very salty UghhMy daughters pancakes were also sweet and greasy, as if cooked in bacon grease. Waiter never came to see how our meal was. Spoke with a manager who was very helpful and offered us dessert now or to come back after the show because he felt terrible which was appreciated showed good business
