Brasserie by Niche St. Louis Reviews
This place is terrible.
I would never advise anyone to step foot in this place. It is dirty dark and dingy looking. It took us over an hour and 15 minutes to get our food. The beef was supposed to be done, medium rare and came out well done on every dish that was served eve

Great date night or catch up with friends place! If the weather is nice, there is a lovely patio. If not, the inside is nice although a little bit dark-first time I have actually had to use my phone to read the menu. We had the escargot and the stea
Awesome service-every time.
The ambiance- top tier. The neighborhood- spectacular and beautiful architecture. The food- ALWAYS to die for.
Service was excellent and vibe was light but formal enough.
Enjoyed the soups and desserts

We always enjoy dining at Brasserie, however this visit was subpar. My amuse bouche was served with Krunchers potato chips. My husband's strip steak was served well done with French fries when he ordered medium rare with green beans. Our tabl

Came here for a birthday dinner and received great service and food! We sat by the bar which had warm lighting for a cozier experience. The food came out really slow but it was also super busy that night. I thought every dish tasted great! However, t
Overall pretty solid place.
Vibes are giving romantic French bistro (there's another side that's more speakeasy but I didn't spend much time there). The table had cute candles and flowers for a perfect date night. Ate the escargot and bistro steak. Not bad but n
Our recent visit to Brasserie was a pleasant experience.
Our party of 6 was seated upon arrival ( had a reservation) and water and fresh French bread were served in quick fashion. Our server, Jessica R. , introduced herself and took our drink orders and asked if there were any questions about the menu. She

The ambiance and food is amazing.
The restaurant is down the street from me and I see that it is packed daily. I would give it 5 stars but the wait staff could have been better. They seemed distracted and got things wrong or took too long to do things with not just us but the tables
Average decibel reading was 90 decibels.
This is equal to being near a lawn mower or a loud motorcycle. We were inside on a Sunday morning and the restaurant was 75% full. What a wonderful and unexpected treat. We were traveling across country from Tennessee to California and stayed overn
Great experience all around!
We celebrated our anniversary at Brasserie by Niche tonight! It ranks as one of the greatest meals we've ever had! Great salads, Duck Confit, Braised Beef, spectacular desserts! And the service from the gentleman who opened the door to the wonde
Go here! Classic French Brasserie.
..everything done beautifully. From the chicken liver mousse (so velvety) to the wine selection to the patio dining (great neighborhood in old downtown St Louis) to the friendly comfortable service. Someone also knows how to pair flavors...the curr
Sarah was a wonderful server.
The food was excellent. Love the music and the surrounding!
Excellent Dinner
We celebrated a friend’s birthday here, and we all had an excellent meal. My husband and I had the gougères, braised beef, and roasted chicken. All were delicious. The rest of the party enjoyed their meals as well. The restaurant has great ambianc
In your face politics was nauseating.
We received a gift card for this restaurant. The food was good. The service was good. The owner’s far left cultural beliefs are in your face. So if you believe an unborn child has the right to live as a human being, you won’t be able to stomach t
Prepare to be propagandized.
Be prepared to be propagandized. When you enter the restaurant, you are told how to think about abortion. I wasn't buying their opinions and then decided to not buy their food and left. When I go out for dinner, I don't want to be lectured
A little disappointed
We ended up a little disappointed after reading all the rave reviews. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't stellar. Beef tartare was classically prepared, and the thin crispy bread chips were perfect with it. My husband's roast chick
Fantastic dinner
Great experience with great food and service by Lindsey. We had the escargot and goat cheese tart. Both absolutely delicious! We each had the steak, me with chips and her with green beans. Mine was cooked perfectly. Take a look at the pics.. go do
Saturday night blues
I’ve eaten here before and wasn’t disappointed until last Saturday night. We always seem to get seated in the back, even after making reservations well in advance. What I’ve never experienced before was the poor service. Our appetizers took
Meh . . .
We came here based on the positive reviews on this site, but we can only review the time we visited. This wasn't a great experience. Maybe it was because we had reservations weeks ahead of time, but still had to wait for a table while we were
Lovely place for brunch
A brunch was lovely. I enjoyed our server and the food was good. We had eggs benedict that came with crispy potatoes. The fruit cup had a nice selection of fresh fruit.
