Great food and service, lively atmosphere
Ate here on Spring Break trip with two 15 year old boys with healthy appetites. Everything we tried was fantastic I was surprised by how lively the place was on a Tuesday night. Our table was not ready so we had old fashioneds in the bar. Love the old fashioned and gin and tonic options. Also good beer list. Tried two of the four old fashioneds. For dinner we had a big sampling including the mixed grill sizzler which was tremendous. Coming from SF Bay Area I thought this was top notch food. Service was fantastic as well, everyone we encountered was really helpful with suggestions and very pleasant. Had a tough time deciding where to go for Indian between here, Dishoom, Gymkhana and a few others but not disappointed. Highly recommended.

I came here and ordered the set lunch. Place is cosily decorated and I was quickly seated at my table. I was given the drink menu but unfortunately the waitress requited help from her colleague when I enquired about the size of the beer that they served. I finally got the food.menu after a bit of a wait and ordered the samosa starter and the prawn biryani main. I wish the samosa came in a more generous portion, there were 3 small samosa served on the plate. The prawn biryani was tasty and appreciate the good selection of papadum.

Everyone raves about Dishoom, but Brigadiers was so amazing. Great Indian food & excellent service! After visiting the Tower of London we just walked in not really knowing if it was that good. Exceeded our expectations!
Be the first to ReplyThe ambience was nice
The food was not as hot as it should of been It would have tasted much better hot. With Indian food it should always be served hot.

Fab experience. If you like Indian cuisine and fancy a different experience, this Indian tapas dish approach is great. Food is very well cooked. Staff and knowledgeable and keen which are always great signs of a good restaurant that staff are energised and invested in. Price of meal was reasonable. I figure this is best for a guys night out. Lots of pub sports on tap here if you fancy.
Be the first to ReplyNice Vibe but poor value for Money
The place has a nice vibe and very polite staff. The food however was a bit hit and miss. Chicken very good but goat chops far too fatty. Price/value here is an issue though. I was particularly surprised to be charged £52 for a bottle of "house red". The mark ups restaurants make on alcohol are astronomical as it is - but this seems extreme. I'd go again - but more for beers and snacks maybe? The food and wine really didn't justify the price ..

Starters, cocktails and desert were good. The main course (daal makhni and chicken) were very salty and basic Staff was not attentive, guessing it was a late lunch as we were offered water whilst leaving though it was asked when sat. Considering the value for money, I would rethink for another visit.
Be the first to ReplyReally good
Fourth time visit last night and , as before, food was excellent, service was great and the vibe was fun and funky. As a regular at Chutney Mary's Veeraswamy's and several others, I know what good looks like. Brigadiers is really good!!
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced and overrated
I wanted to give some feedback regarding my visit on Saturday 3rd February. We had the six nations menu and some miss communication that we only got one of the small starters per person e.g. one chicken wing, one samosa per person. This is quite shocking considering the price per person is £45 a head. I did ask was it a portion per person as per a la carte and was told yes. I did ask the manager on the day if there was anything he could do, but refused to accommodate on the miss communication. I also said it was my cousins birthday in my reservation notes and nothing was done to make it special

What a great way to celebrate two of my friend’s birthdays. I was worried they would not like the food as I booked the restaurant. It was an enjoyable experience and the food was incredible. Thanks to Kat who attended to us and took all our orders and made recommendations. The restaurant was very busy and can see why as the restaurant decor, food and ambience are impeccable. I definitely will come back again. They treated my friends to a surprise birthday desert so that was a really nice touch. Also their bathroom was one of the cleanest and coolest I have ever been to in London. Thanks Clementina

Visited here today for a couple of drinks en/route to meet family for a day out. Staff and service very impressive and the food looked amazing. Will definitely be back another time to sample the menu.
Be the first to ReplyGreat evening, fantastic food and service
We were looked after by Fortiz who is the nicest and most enthusiastic waiter we have ever encountered, he made our evening. All the food was extremely tasty, the goat shoulder and lamb chops were sublime.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, good service
Lovely food, goat shoulder is so tender. Service really good and waiter very knowledgable about the menu

I visited brigadiers, not my usual establishment when it comes to curry, usually opting for a BYOB. However on this occasion the glamorous interior matched by the exquisite cuisine lived up to expectations. We picked a range of starters all of which of which were delicious. I was particularly intrigued by the range of poppadoms on offer. For mains it was the mixed grill, butter chicken, Daal, bone marrow byriani and naan. Word of advice do not come here without getting the lamb chops we ordered extra!! Finally, the staff were attentive not intrusive topping our beverages up as needed. All in all a wonderful experience and one I would repeat.

I booked Brigadiers as I was expecting a classy bottomless brunch to celebrate my birthday with friends. The venue plays the rugby (six nations) too which caught my attention. The service was ok and it was a different experience for my birthday festivities with friends. However, the evening was pretty disappointing due to the fact everything was overpriced. The Feast Menu was underwhelming in terms of food volume/quality and definitely not worth £75pp. Drinks were poor, 2/3 pints were expensive. In summary, I didn't enjoy my birthday evening and feel like I've been fleeced by an impressive looking venue without the impressive food/service/drinks package. I recommend sticking with venues such as Dishoom, Bricklane or Whitechapel if looking for a meal out with friends.

The best Indian food I have ever eaten & that includes a bunch of trips to India! Wonderful service.. unique venue also. Feels like a star hotel! Looking forward to going back

The atmosphere is exceptional, as was the service. Some of the best Indian food we've had in London -- menu is both inventive and authentic. Recommend it highly.
Be the first to ReplyYes the best cusine in London is... Indian
Whether its high end like Brigadiers or more neighborhood dining like Tayyabs you will find the longest waits and highest ratings for dining is at Indian restaurants. Brigadiers was no different. I think we lucked out because we took an early seating and it was midweek in winter. That said by the time we were leaving at about 7:30 the place was teaming with people. The food is meant to be served family style and its the best way to do it because you do need to taste the varying flavours and heat that indian cuisine presents. The waiter was helpful to us to make a meal that complemented rather than clashed with what we wanted to try. So the 1/2 rack of Lamb, Chicken Masala, Beef Short rib and wild Mushroom Biryani made for a very tasty meal. The garlic naan was a bit of letdown, but nothing in life is perfect. Despite the 2hr table timing ( new to me) we were not rushed to move on, the dining expereince was very enjoyable and I would highly reccomend.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing service and atmosphere!
The staff was so helpful and generous in providing recommendations and a lovely atmosphere. Amine was exceptionally good with his service and made sure all our needs were taken care of. Food arrived very quickly and was delicious. Prashant also ensure we had a great time,

Excellent food service and ambience. However I’ve sailed the Seven Seas but never ever found a bar that served beer in two thirds of a pint.
Be the first to ReplyFeel a bit let down
We had been looking forward to visiting this place for some time. Atmosphere was buzzy and the service was slick, so it met our expectations in those areas. My wife's starter was tasty but my lamb kebab was not of the same standard. Bits of it were very tasty but much of it was undercooked and tough. On to the mains and my wife said her prawns were "fine but not great". The selection of breads were delicious. My butter chicken sauce was good but the quality of the meat in the dish was disappointing. For the price I expected chicken breast but I got various chicken pieces. Overall I'm disappointed, not least because Brick Lane is close by and I'd say many of the restaurants there produce tastier dishes at a significantly lower price.

Had an excellent lunch here, great service, top picks for food: scallops, lamb chops, winter greens, but ALL very good. Will definitely return!
Be the first to ReplyA delightful evening with Eric and foodie heaven
An evening with fabulous Eric and food heaven This was a stop on our last evening in London and we were super happy to be seated at the bar. The food was spectacular and as reviewed. What made our evening special was the outstanding hospitality and care from Eric the bartender and host. He was quietly attentive and observant. Not only did he do a great job of explaining more about the menu and dishes he also took care of my cough with one of his special concoctions without us even having to ask. We will definitely visit again and wholeheartedly recommend this place. If you are lucky you may get a seat with Eric at the bar
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food and service was out of this world!
My husband and I have been wanting to come here for a while and managed to get a last minute booking. We arrived early so they seated us in the bar area. Unfortunately we were sat next to a friendly loud group and when the staff realised they offered to move us on a number of occasions (without us asking). The group were friendly enough so we said we were fine but they kept checking on us anyway. They even gave us a free dessert which said ‘Happy Anniversary’ without us asking too which was really nice too. The starters were exceptional. I really really enjoyed the chicken wings, they were out of this world! Would definitely recommend them. We were quite full after the starters so did not enjoy the mains as much but it was all still very tasty.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent ambience, food and service. Unusual for central London.
Went for a celebratory dinner. Were well looked after. The service and the food were excellent. Especially the young man who served us on the terrace, didn’t catch his name. The food was flavoursome and really well presented. Highly recommended
