Mouth watering
Two weeks later and Iโm still thinking of the lobster roll with drawn butter. It was so good. I could have eaten 3 of them. My daughter got the shrimp and fries and she said they were very good too.

Broad Street Oyster has some of the best oysters in Malibu. They have a huge selection and all of them are fresh and just wonderful. What we really love though are their lobster rolls and their Maine lobster. the lobster rolls are served on a yummy bun and they are just packed with lobster. They are some of the best. The Main lobster is mouthwatering. Never over cooked, they are perfect. The service is excellent. They are pretty fast and they are kind. The place is spotless as are the bathrooms and it is so cute. It is comfortable whether you sit inside or out. You can also get to go, but eat there. It is a really nice place.

We ordered lobster roll (which is very small) and linguine with clams, an Mexican Coke and a can of Arizona. Self-service and it is outdoor sitting under tents. Altogether, it costs over $70, I think this place is overpriced and overrated. If I visit here again, I would rather pay to eat at dNozโbu Malibu restaurant. I just can't get a table there tonight.

Fun atmosphere, delicious food, but was expensive for fast food. We had lobster rolls and calamari and loved them both. Long line, but it moved quickly.

They really push the lobster rolls, but we opted for the crab louie salad -- quite good, and generously portioned. Expensive, but you're in Malibu, so no great surprise. Next time we'll order online and skip the line at the order window.

I recommend ordering on line and you can totally eliminate the wait. Enjoyed the lobster roll but it is quite small. I added lobster for 15 bucks so be prepared to spend 37 dollars . Not sure if that is a fair price but I can tell you the lobster was sweet and delicious. Also enjoyed the side of cole slaw and found the cerviche to be delicious and fun to eat with the plantan chips. The cracked crab was also fresh and delicious. There is no ambience because you are eating in a parking lot but the vibe is young and fun. (Hope they dont franchise this concept and ruin the quality. I have seen that too many times) Also a great escape from the Valley heat for a quick and delicious meal.

Ate there this Sunday. Jammed with people so felt safe and had oysters. SEVERE FOOD POISONING AFTER.
Be careful!
Best Lobster Roll
Take a drive up historic PCH to Malibu and pick up the best Lobster Roll you will ever have at Broad Street Oyster Company. Their Lobster Rolls are so famous that they only allow two per order. To comply with social distancing, Broad Street has installed a tiki hut inspired drive thru. Also, don't forget to try their other delicious, fresh seafood dishes.

Everyone has been raving about this place, so we went to check it out. We are a family of four who love food so we decided to each order something different: lobster roll hot, lobster roll cold, fried shrimp po boy sandwich and fish and chips. While the lobster rolls looked hearty, the lobster meat was overcooked, slimy and super salty. Everything was over-salted to the point, that we couldn't even finish the one piece of small fish in the fish and chips. Not one of us finished the fries that came with each meal. Don't bother. Maybe the oysters are fantastic!?
Be the first to ReplyFresh and tasty but pricey
I enjoyed the lobster roll . The oysters fresh and no fish taste. The clam chowder was a bit salty. It's worth trying the place out. It's a bit on the pricey side though.

We have eaten here multiple times for lunch and twice for dinner and never been disappointed. We have tried the oyster, lobster, sea urchin, salmon, mussels - you name it, we tried it and loved it. The seafood is impeccably fresh and usually local. They make wonderful versions of traditional fare - such as lobster roll, grilled lobster, steamed clams and mussels - and then also do some marvelous things with anchovies, seafood stews, mussels escabeche and more. The staff are friendly and happy to let you taste the wines - and the beer and wine selection is good. And the decor is lots of fun as well - eclectic but it all works. Just wish I could have a martini with my oysters but that will have to wait.

I went to the Hollywood Night Market and made a pit stop at Broad Street Oyster Co because dining there is more than just eating, itโs an experience!! If you love lobster rolls, you will love theirs because it was all lobster, filler, on a beautiful golden garlicky brioche bun.

Tucked away in the Cross Creek shopping area near Soulcycle, actually hidden down a mini-alley, is Broad Street Oyster Company. The menu is pretty limited, but everything we ate was absolutely fresh and delicious. Plan on ordering some lobster rolls and fresh shucked oysters. Have a beer or a glass of wine, and imagine that you are in a New England version of Malibu dockside in a harbor. And the prices are reasonable, which is extremely rare in Malibu. We will be back here frequently!
