Surpass my expectations
First time eating Vietnamese food and I really liked it. Went with a couple of friends who recommended the place and I don't regret it. The service was great.

Two of us wanted a light meal before going out for the evening in the neighborhood. Both vegetarian, we ordered the papaya salad, and Vietnamese veg pancake. The former was tasty but just a pile of papaya, three halved cherry tomatoes, and 5 tiny strips of tofu. The pancake was so greasy it made me feel sick, all I found in it were a load of bland bean sprouts. It does not say on the menu that this thing is fried within an inch of its life. My friend said the only way to make it edible was to drown it in the dip it comes with. And seriously, get over yourselves. Arriving to an almost empty restaurant at 5:30 on a Sunday and being asked if we have a reservation, then trying to give us the worst table in room next to the toilets? We won't be back.

This place was just ok. I ordered the mussels which was a special and the chicken noodle soup- phone. For the mussel special, they provided more than enough for two people. The sauce, which was coconut based, didnt not reach all the mussels. All the liquid was at the bottom and the mussels themselves were rather dry. The Pho was pretty disappointing. There was absolutely no flavor. It just tasted like I was drink murky water. My friend asked for additional sauces, and after adding two to-go ramekins worth, she finally said it was ok. I added the coconut broth to my pho was made it much more palatable. We were disappointed with the food but service was good. Wasnt above and beyond but customary.

Far from the city, between fabrics and storages...curious cool Vietnamese “hipster” restaurant. Great for enjoying the experience going that far from the city, but if you are not a Vietnamese lover...you should go somewhere else. Nice staff.

Very good food and very good service. A very calm venue which serves Vietnamese food. The pork chop, the ox tail hash and the chicken made for superb dishes. I don’t give a lot of ‘Excellent’ review, but this place made the grade.

My wife and I with our adult son went here after doing a walking street art tour (which, by the way, was excellent). This is a really cleverly decorated restaurant which is largely Vietnamese food. Loved everything we ate. Service was top notch. Beer was ice cold. They have a skate board ramp on the patio so it is a little bit of something for everyone. It is one of our son's favorite places and I can see why. We will visit again for sure.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Vietnamese meal in a funky spot
Came here (5 adults & 1 toddler) for an early dinner. They welcomed our large group and had a high chair for our daughter. Staff was very helpful & explained a lot of the menu items. We started with the Vietnamese pancake, which was super tasty. We shared a variety of plates for our dinner (the giant lazy Susan on the table made it easy to share). The mushroom fried rice was amazing! I almost ordered a second order to take home. The grilled beef bahn mi was terrific. The beef pho was also great. They had good cocktails to choose from, too. The area the restaurant was in was kind of industrial (warehouses & garbage trucks) but there was plenty of street parking. I would definitely go back again.

I’ve been here three times and it’s still as good as the first. I had just come back from Hanoi where I tried the famous cha ca la vong, and I was skeptical about having it in New York. All the dishes are interpretations but capture the taste and spirit of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Although served very different than in Vietnam, they fully harnessed the taste of Hanoi turmeric fish with dill. I’ve had other fish and veggie options. My friends who have tried the meat dishes rave about them too. The atmosphere is reflective of the location and overall, it’s a fun and delicious time.

The food was very, very good. I had the rice noodle chicken soup and the spring rolls, both excellent. Very industrial chic decor. Attentive waitstaff. Unfortunately this did not make up for the location. Very difficult to find, can't imagine how anyone would get here via mass transit and the area is very sketchy. The restaurant is located around warehouses. But if you are brave enough to go, please check the address before you go. It is not on Metropolitan Avenue - it is 99 Scott Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11237

Space is a little tight, however the food makes up
For the lack of ambiance and then some. Homemade
Beverages were very good. Went to Bunker with
My four kids for dinner, everybody loved the place
And the food. Would definitely go back again.
