Casa Enrique Reviews from The Last Year
Never disappointing.
Can't beat the price or quality. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants ever.
This modest little Queens restaurant has a big heart.
From the second I walked in, I felt right at home. The staff were lovely, the steak and mole dishes outstanding, the mezcal cocktails delicious, the chocolate custard dessert delightful... My friend and I did not notice the time and would have stayed for another cocktail if we weren't so full and buzzed!
I have been coming here for 2 years.
I am constantly blown away by this place. Not only is the food out of this world. Authentic, consistent, and jsit superb but it's extremely flavorful.... I have never been to a restaurant numerous times and it's jsit as good each time ... this is the place you will make a staple in your date night, dining routine. The staff is extremely attentive. The manager is so welcoming you will feel like royalty. They treat every guest like gold. I have never been to a restaurant that I constantly get the same dishes and appetizers and love them every single time. This place is truly a staple and jsit beyond fine dinning it's a true experience you will never forget ... most certainly worth a try but I'm sorry you will be addicted and make this a date night staple !! I recommend the ceviche, lamb shank, and the chicken mole !!! Out of this world. But literally anything you get will be show stopper

OBSESSED WITH CASA ENRIQUE! My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting casa Enrique for our anniversary and it was just a beautiful experience. Unfortunately we had not made reservations but they were able to accommodate us without any issues. For food I ordered enchiladas verdes and my husband got enchiladas de mole. As appetizers we also had the sopecitos de chorizo and even though they are very small in each bite you take you get a whole lot of flavor , the most delicious sopes I've ever had. I cannot wait to come back!
Worst Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten at.
The service is good, but the food and atmosphere leave much to be desired. I'm surprised this restaurant got a Michelin star.
Went here on February 7,2024.
Location- A block away from the Vernon Jackson 7 train stop down a side street Interior- It is L shaped restaurant- not huge. Despite having white furniture it is very dim lighting so some pictures on Yelp don't give a good picture of what the food looks like, Service- Good service. Wait staff was attentive yet not annoying or intrusive. Drinks- Only tequila, mescal, rum and wines. That was a let down for me but I'm sure others will enjoy themselves immensely. I had the coconut mojito- the first one was way better than the second. Food: Table of four- shared the guacamole and chips (5/10. Needed salt, more lime than the wedge they provided and garlic. But I know I'm a guac snob so...), ceviche (10/10- delicious and fresh). I ad the mole piaxlta (10/10) it was a nice medley of flavors with a hint of spice. I wish the rice had been more plentiful of a serving. It came with beans and tortillas but since two of us at the table got it I found it hard to divvy up what was mine versus theirs. My friends got the lamb (6/10) which they shared- it was a big hunk of meat. I was told the sauce was great but the meat was dried out. Someone else go the brisket tacos (10/10) which were reported to be very tasty. Dessert: We got tres leches (6/10) and the chocolate pot fe creme (4/10). The tres leches seem to be overly wet which isn't exactly what makes it pop for me in a tres leches. The flavor was nice but it wasn't the best I've had. The cream was basically chocolate pudding with cookie crumble and what seemed or marshmallow fluff. It was a nice flavor but I could've not had dessert and been just fine. Overall- I've had this on my list to try for a while and I'm glad I did. However, nothing was so mind blowing about the experience that I'll be making this a regular place to go.

What all my friends are saying- they have gone down a notch or 2 in the last year. went back for second visit and nothing like the first. Very average. Not bad- not good. Not a Michelen star restaurant. Stop resting on your laurels an get back to what you were
I'm not a big fan of Mexican food in general.
I also went to Pujol few months ago and we were very disappointed with the food, $500 for 2 people, we definitely don't recommend it. I came here with very low expectations but I was very impressed. Very well deserved of the one Michelin star. The chicken with mole was amazing! the chicken literally melt in your mouth soft. I also enjoyed the lengua tacos. Will come back to try different dishes.

The famous 1 Michelin star restaurant in LIC! We had a reservation for around 9p on a Friday night, but still had to wait around 15-20 mins before being seated so make your reservations early! The popular dinner slots go very quickly. I would have to give 1 less star for that bc I didn't expect to wait after having a reservation. The ambiance was very crowded even late at night, which was not ideal but clearly very popular, which I understand bc the food was indeed amazing. The meats were so well cooked and tender and the flavors were so soaked through (for lack of better word) that you'd think they marinated the meat long before they cooked it! The ceviche was very fresh. And although we didn't get any drinks, we could just tell from the tables around us that their drinks were versatile and fun. Would definitely recommend this place but make your reservations early!
Loved the ambiance of this place the minute I set foot in.
Don't let the semi unused outdoor dining space in front deter you from the warm hospitality which met me at the door. The wait time (as I had no reservation - tsk tsk I know, and at a Michelin rated place, what was I thinking?!). I was told was 1/2 an hour but it was slightly exaggerated. Not wanting to wait though, my gal pal and I went straight to the bar to start our foodie adventure. Quick mention, after a bit of perusing the menu at the bar, I spotted a table or two open up and we had only started with our drinks and guac and chips. So I asked to move to a table for two if they could accommodate. A few moments later, we were transferred to our table seamlessly. Not withstanding, we had outstanding service with our bartender that served us and I wish I got his name. He explained a few menu items, made a custom "mocktail" for my friend after asking her thoughtful questions on her likes/tastes - and I had ordered a specialty cocktail. Every suggestion was spot on - from the drinks to the entrees. The menu here is pricier than I had imagined but it offered much to love and I still felt I got a great value for what I had. Definitely fine for dining with vegetarians. Hands down, you must try the ceviche de pescado (market fish of the day). It was delicious, a meaty fish so fresh and the acidity of this dish had me wanting more. My friend loved the fish tacos and raved about the avocado sauce. It was a really good sauce! And I had the carnitas - entree where you make your own tacos. Even the sauces that came with the complimentary appetizer were delicious. I can't tell you what I was tasting - cilantro, chilies, peppery goodness. But I can tell you it was so appetizing and delicious. Totally will return for another experience.
Great restaurant in Long Island City!
It's hard to get a reservation here but I'm glad we persevered. The drinks were great, especially the espresso martinis. I'd actually never had Mexican wine before, but really liked the bottle of red we ordered. The service was excellent for such a busy restaurant - really friendly and nicely timed. And, of course, the food was great from start to finish. We especially loved the sopecitos. I will definitely try to get a reservation when I am back in New York.
Nice restaurant
Nice restaurant I had one of the best margaritas ever a bit pricey so only had one. Food was good, great starter of tortillas and guacamole. Main meal was fine I had the enchiladas. Loved the desert of ice cream. Overall a nice relaxing place to eat.
Overrated!
We went to this well-known Mexican restaurant full of expectations but we were quite disappointed. All the food was good but simply said not a good value for money , prices are too high for what you get. It's overrated, you find elsewhere plenty of good mexican restaurants where to eat for half the price.
A bit underwhelming
Having read a number of reviews, I was excited to find out how you make tacos Michelin star quality. Unfortunately I actually found them a bit bland, the lime was the main flavour of the brisket and I felt like I had a tastier version in a little family restaurant in Antwerp recently. The mains were good and portion sizes were large, my wife liked the Mole de Piaxtla in particular, but overall I couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed having had such high expectations.
Don’t go!
We used to come to this restaurant once e few months before the land. It was great. We ordered our usual favorites and they were all horrible. Basically inedible. We had a guest so we roughed it through. We will never go back.
Good Mexican restaurant with room for improvement God willing
40.74357 -73.95434 this popular one-Michelin-starred restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. Inside, the ceiling soundproofing is not effective enough: not an intimate place for a romantic dinner. With the local Catholic priest sitting at another table, I think the noise problem will be forgiven if the food is delicious. Expectations are high. In May 2023 we ordered the carne asada medium rare, a double “R” ranch skirt steak with roasted poblanos and beans ($38). Marinated in tequila, it was delicious. Perfectly cooked, juicy and great in flavour and texture. A dish that keeps guests coming back. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate mousse ($10). Excellent ending to a good dinner. Ordering the wine requested a knowledgeable waiter. The white Pinot Grigio Pitars 2020 “Braida Santa Cecilia” from Italy ($15 a glass) was unremarkable in flavour. Probably not a Pinot Grigio but a Chianti Blanco. Next time order Mexican wine at a Mexican restaurant. So, we did and the Misión Blanco 2020, Santa Tomas, Baja California, Mexico ($14 a glass) was much better in flavour. But for the same price, check out new wine countries. Service was personal, attentive and effective. When the priest left, the owner and chef came to say goodbye and the priest gave them his holy blessing by placing his hand on their heads. Casa Enrique offers really tasty Mexican dishes. The wine list needs an upgrade, as does the soundproofing, God willing. Recommended.

That's what AT sponsorships are for - and you are only paying 25% in the first year and then less in year two and three.
I beliebe @EternalAnt36 was sponsored by @PerceptiveWash44 and is now doing $25k/mo.
You can write on the top sellers profiles (type 'Top 10' in the searchbar) and then tap request sponsorship button after you found the guy or gal like to work with!
