Great Stay Customer Service Could be Improved
Let me start by saying the Hard Product at the Wynn is phenomenal. Room was well-appointed (TV was a bit small) but everything was clean and well put together. Customer Service could be improved. So I booked with Amex FHR which costs a little bit more but included the following benefits: 30 credit for drinks or minibar 150 spa credit 4pm GUARANTEED Late checkout 60 breakfast credit Spa was phenomenal; 50 minute massage for $90 with tip when accounting for the spa credit Minibar snacks were a nice touch Breakfast we did at the buffet which was also great and the quality of the food was top notch However the hotel had an issue with the late checkout. There was no do not disturb doortag in my room and housekeeping kept knocking on the hour (4-5 times total) from 12 pm to 4pm - despite being told multiple times I had late checkout. I wanted to sleep for a bit since I had a red-eye back to the East coast obviously this did not happen. I informed the front desk about this and they were like oh we dont see the 4pm tag on the room. (Makes no sense since to their credit they applied all the appropriate credits listed above were applied). I asked for someone to follow up with me about the stay so far radio silence. I understand service issues can happen but I think at least a follow up is due here. Overall its too bad. I would have happily given this place 5 stars and booked my next few stays in Vegas at Wynn/Encore but I dont want to be harassed to get a guaranteed benefit. I think the hotel is great with everything is going well, but when things go wrong dont expect recourse.
Be the first to ReplyTop hotel, not top service
5 Star Hotel with 2 Star Service Not the first time I’ve stayed here. Customer service repeatedly has ignored my emails. Not what i expect from a hotel like this. I have been charged incorrectly for a buffet where I also unfortunately had to complain about the quality and selection of food. I have been waiting for over a year for someone to get back to me . No one has I stayed this year and again, no one felt responsible for this issue. Checkin staff was however great
Be the first to ReplyWhat a disappointment
First the good things: A nice hotel room, but the designer overdosed on faux gold lacquer-the entire room decor was just not my style. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly and the AC was quiet and kept the room at exactly the right temperature I wanted it. The bathroom was large and had plenty of soap, shampoo etc. The staff were by and large friendly and helpful but with a dose of disinterest, and obviously looking forward to getting off their shift. The not so good side: Be prepared to be nickle and dimed on EVERYTHING. A can of coke in your room-$8.00, a 0.5L bottle of Fiji water for $12.00. Everything in the minibar was obscenely overpriced. I get it that this is Vegas, but this was ridiculous. The food in every restaurant was horrendously over priced and you need to make reservations days if not weeks in advance of your arrival. There was very little availability in the restaurants when we arrived, so ended up going to other restaurants in town. Good for us as we had better food. The casino was extremely smokey which irritated by throat and made all of my clothes stink. The Wynn is intentionally designed to force you to walk through the casino to go anywhere and is confusing so you get lost in the middle of a smokey, bright pulsating light and loud music environment that is almost seizure inducing. Would I stay there again? Absolutely not, not even if I won a free weekend there. If you want a nice luxury hotel go to the Waldorf Astoria or Four Seasons.

Lots of things to do , inside of the hotel Almost no need to venture to other properties on the strip if its not a destination Casinos are sufficient Restaurants are good We have stayed at both properties , several times No major complaints Good choice
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best hotels in Vegas
Very nice hotel. A little quieter than the Wynn, the room was very comfortable and nice interiors. Great bed, sofa, bathroom. Encore gym is better than the Wynn's. The restaurants were very nice and accessible. Although the casino is smaller than the Wynn side ( and quieter), you can easily walk over for more action/noise to the Wynn. I prefer the quieter Encore side. If they have a large group, don't be surprised to be waiting in line for the elevator at certain times. Friendly staff. Also easy walk to the all the shops/restaurants next door at the Venetian. Definitely one of the better hotels on the north side of the strip.
Be the first to ReplyWynn Encore, treat yourself !
We love this hotel, everything about Wynn Encore is exceptional. Once again we stayed in one of their giant sized tower suites with a fabulous view. The staff could not be more friendly and the hotel is a little quieter and more refined than Wynn itself. We dined at Mizumi ( world class ) we dined at SW (twice) both were amazing and never disappoints. We cannot wait to return again to Las Vegas and to Wynn Encore.
Be the first to ReplySeems to have lost the Wynn charm. Very pricey with lots of nickel and dime items
Hard to explain. The facilities have been kept well; however, for the premium price hard to see the benefits. Everything is a charge now. The Internet included in the resort fee is only basic and sluggish. Always shocked these high end hotels don't believe in coffee maker. Some people don't want room service and just want a coffee before you start the day. Food at all restaurants was very good but just terribly expensive. As an example we had a 60 USD for two breakfast credit and ordering a coffee, food item and maybe one side always has our bill almost 2x that. Most striking thing was front desk interactions. Had four instances and each time the attitude seemed to be that they were doing me a favor by providing a high level of service. Room is stocked with almost nothing but a mini bar. Two wine glasses and nothing else. The room size is bigger than most on strip but the extra living area you quickly realize isn't that efficient to use. Look. It's a nice place but hard to justify the price premium.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful week at the Encore!
Just back from a seven night stay at the Encore. We have stayed here many times, yet when we walk in, it still makes us gasp at how beautiful it all is. It is certainly not a new hotel now but you would never know it as it is maintained so efficiently. From the moment we checked in to when we checked out, we were looked after. The staff are second to none. Whilst there we enjoyed meals at Jardin, Terrace Pointe, Charlie’s, the Buffet and the Express cafe. However, the best meal of the week was definitely at Sinatra in the Wynn. Perfect corner table, fabulous food, perfect service. I can’t recommend it highly enough. All good things come to an end and the week flew by but we will definitely be back and it will definitely be to stay at the Encore. I can’t imagine why anyone would choose to stay anywhere else in Las Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyFraudulent mini bar charges
Watch out for fraudulent mini bar charges when you checkout! Went on a business trip, never touched anything in the mini bar and when I looked at the folio, found over $60 worth of charges. Called to dispute the charges and spent over 30 minutes on the phone just for the response that you have to dispute it upon checking out. Now I need to dispute it through my credit card. Turned an otherwise good experience into a poor one.
Be the first to ReplyTop Notch on the strip
The Encore is always Top Notch! Clean rooms great ambience, very good restaurant selections. If you like Buffett's I think it's probably the best. They were refurbishing the pools which wasn't an issue at all as the European pool is beautiful and the gardens walking to it are beautiful. The hotel/resort just feels on another level above the other high end.
Be the first to ReplyWorst experience on Christmas - charged for items we never touched! This place scams their guests!
The Wynn is a complete scam. We stayed in a suite at Encore for Christmas and we put our gifts on the counter where the dry bar is. I guess our gifts and mini tree triggered something with the mini bar and when we checked out they hit me with $900 in mini bar charges when WE DID NOT TOUCH THE MINI BAR AT ALL. I should have taken a photo of it before we left because they COMPLETELY ripped us off. They charged us for things like a hangover kit and things I have no idea what they are. It's a complete disaster. They can basically lie and charge you for anything in the room even if you didn't touch it or use it. DO NOT STAY HERE they will send you a ledger stating all these charges that have nothing to do with you or your stay. For all I know the maids could have taken everything in the mini bar but we brought our own alcohol, our own gifts, our own christmas tree - we didn't need anything from them yet we got charged anyway. They charged my card WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION and I am STILL fighting this with my credit card company. DO NOT STAY HERE.

An impressive behemoth with really modern parts and really weird parts. The rooms were great, we stayed on the 60th floor with voice operated room technology, superfast elevators and really nice feel to it all. The breakfast buffet was a mixed bag: a lot on offer, yet a total chaos in an unwelcoming setting. Food was very good and the staff excellent, yet it all felt like a stark contrast to the rooms. Casino and bars work well and are fun to hang out in.
Be the first to ReplyOvercharged
I had a terrible experience at my last stay in Encore. It is the forth time I go to Las Vegas for NADA Convencial. I already stayed at Whyn twice and I’ve never had any problem with overrated charges. On my last stay, they charged me 145 dollars due to some packages that I bought online. When I questioned them about these charges, the attendant told me it’s a common practice in Las Vegas to have those kind of charges. But like I said before it’s not the first time I’ve been here or stay at a Whyn hotel. It was definitely the first time they charged me for it. What upsets me the most is that I don’t recall signing anything, or read anywhere during my reservation, checking and stay at hotel remind me that they started charging for delivered packages. I only took knowledge of it when I checked out and they printed all my expenses. Also, when they took my packages to the room, they delivered some that weren’t even on my name. And I had to call them to let they know, and pick up. Also, they showed me the orders that were sent to my room. And asked me to sign a document, but they realized that they made a mistake and some of the itens that were at the paper were not delivered yet and was still at the Business Center. When I check out of the hotel, the Business Center was closed, and I couldn’t check, negotiate or verify any of the charges that was in the bill of my room. And nobody at the front desk could help me, not even the manager. The items that I bought were: chargers, medicine, tea, digestives. If I sum up everything that I bought, it will be less than 100 dollars. These is totally outrageous, and I can guarantee that I will never attend these hotel again. You lost a client, and I will write a review in google, booking and Hotels.com explaining what happened to me, so that everybody that considers staying at Whyn or Encore knows that they can expect.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Stay
The Encore is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was immaculately clean, very spacious and state of the art. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The only drawback during my stay was the parking pass was intermittent. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Las Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyGreat way to finish 2023!
Love the Panoramic Suites, specially looking at the Mountains. Accommodations are so comfortable that you don’t want to leave. Housekeeping service are amazing everything is perfect when you come back to the room and any request its not a problem. Had a lovely dinner at Wazuzu, also at the Mexican new restaurant. Driinks at their Lobby & Lounge Bar. Location is excellent and everything is within walking distance. Went to see their show Awakening and enjoyed it very much, We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back any time.
Be the first to ReplyLots of WestJet errors
Hotel made lots of billing errors due to WestJet’s cancelled flights which impacted checkin and one night charged but not used. Beware of WestJet vacations has WestJet will not help the WestJet customer but defer to third party. Once the situation was explained the front desk did a good job with the documentation Hotel is spotless. Rooms are amazing, all staff friendly. Would have given 5 stars but the 2 hours having to deal with billing reduced our score.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent hotel & location
We got an upgrade to a panoramic room. Good size, comfortable beds. Very nice room. room service breakfast options are very expensive including nearly $30 for coffee for two people. Overall, loved the visit. Great location, casino is clean & well run. Pools were closed (March) so would be nice to have outside access next time. Would definitely come back.
Be the first to ReplyAvery
Avery is awesome, we had some issue with our booking(our fault) but he took care of it with a smiling face. Rooms are great, clean non smoking. He gave us all 3 rooms with strip facing. Great guy. Resort has beautiful swimming pools and very nice restaurants
Be the first to ReplySuper loud, Customers are not important
Stayed at the Encore as part of a conference. Room was nice but there was loud techno/DJ music my last night which sounded like a Rave next door. I was shocked to hear the music was on ground floor. I was on the 35th Floor. The front desk offered ear plugs. The woman that delivered them said everyone was complaining. It kept me up until 3:00am when it stopped. Had to be up a few hours later for a flight. Never Again.
Be the first to ReplyWynn Superior to Encore at Wynn
We have thoroughly enjoyed many visits at the Wynn, so chose the Encore at Wynn this time and were disappointed. The breakfast at the Encore did not match the lovely ambience and quality of food served at Tableau in the Wynn. We invited friends this time and the attention to detail in their room and room service did not compare to that we receive at the Wynn. We love the Wynn and will continue all future stays there.
Be the first to ReplyRuined anniversary
I reserved a room a month in advanced and asked for a quiet room for my post COVID anniversary. Got a room next to the elevator. When I talked to the Manager, she said she could fix my problem for $120 a night upgrade. Not worth it for a special trip. Look elsewhere. Surely a return costumer is worth more than an empty room.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful Hotel right off the Strip
Had a get long weekend at the Encore at Wynn. Check in was fast and easy even though there was a long line when we arrived. The check in and overall customer experience was excellent! The room was large with a large window and great views.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic stay at the Encore!
Was at the Encore for a conference. Rooms are spacious and clean, all staff were courteous and helpful. Fantastic amenities in the room and spa/fitness area. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and all were delicious. Highly recommend staying on the Encore side!
Be the first to ReplyCan't wait to comeback!!!

She's the best her recommendation was wonderful! and She's very friendly. Leonard from Housekeeping - Houseman very polite man, I salute this man. He made my day!
Be the first to ReplyHigh expectations, disappointing execution
I stayed there for 6 nights, primarily in vegas for a convention. Rooms are decent, (I don’t know if it’s an American thing but they don’t give you free water. You have to pay for it). House keeping is good and generally staff is nice. Negatives……I ordered for room service and in particular informed about my diet and being a vegetarian was served chicken, when I called they first didn’t agree and when I insisted they didn’t care only in further insistence did they actually check to confirm they had put chicken in the pasta. Had 50$ food credit, they guy who checked me in said it was fine to use it for room service but on checking out the lady simply said the agent isn’t around and they can’t do anything about it. On my insistence and further pushing then they took off 200$ as a special case against a 250$ credit which again seemed like it was a scam. They are just too big and too many moving parts in the system takes away the the service and customer centric attitude. Could get other better places for such a steep price.
