I had Austin as my server and I couldn't have been more lucky. Some things went wrong on my part but he really turned the dinner around making sure I come home happy. I couldn't be more appreciative for what he has done and the service that he gave. Thank you Austin!

..this brunch experience is it and it's worth every pretty penny! Our waitress Kylie was a sweetheart from start to finish, y'all know I love genuine customer service. This brunch buffet has everything your heart desires. Some of my faves - the fresh sushi bar. Omg! Those fresh oysters with that tangy mignonette. Perfection! The salad bar was simple, but the options were flavorful and fun - my favorite was the chopped salad. They had fresh baked cinnamon rolls, with warm cream cheese frosting, so easy to spread (that's important) and I topped mine with the real bacon bits. It was Heavenly. Oh and I can't forget about their sugar-dusted waffles. One of the best waffles I've ever had, and I'm not even a big waffle girl. The staff was professional, the dining area wasn't too loud thankfully. Everyone having a good time and eating a lot of good food!
Honestly, we didn't see the Catch.
The service was harsh and unfriendly -- couldn't even modify a roll to leave sauce off. For a place that wasn't busy (we were the only table at 5 PM), the lack of flexibility set the tone. The menu is strange -- advertised as fish and steak, but with very few options of either. We ordered the $98 Branzino and two pieces of salmon toro sashimi at $9 each. Both tasted fine, but portions were tiny. Add one side of rice, two Diet Cokes, $10 valet, and a $250 tab -- and we left hungry enough to cook dinner again at home. Tables are cramped with oversized plates, service was flat, and for all the hype, I honestly don't see what makes this place so popular or highly reviewed. One positive: I didn't notice the restaurant being loud, which I'd heard was an issue when they first opened, so maybe that's improved. Overall, Catch didn't live up to the price point, the reputation, or the name.

I attended a happy hour hosted by Newmark real estate brokerage firm and Catch Dallas brought out their A game. We had the Catch Roll, Tuna Tartare, steak bites with TRUFFLE and EEL SAUCE, chicken sliders, some steak wonton with a spicy Serrano sauce. The service was off the chart. They were very attentive and kept the food and drinks coming. The tables were constantly being cleared for the next round of food and drinks. The location is amazing and ambiance was great. It was a very clean restaurant, well decorated, and intimately lit. This would be a great date night spot.
My ice tea bill was $21.

Beautiful building and the ambience is very romantic or for girls night out. I had high expectations and these are in other big cities. We came for restaurant week and they had a present menu for $95 a person. It was disappointing at first cause the whole table has to participate and we had someone pregnant and a lot of the pre set menu is fish and cannot be adjusted. The server ended up working with us and let us do it and not her which was very generous. She ordered an app entree and side so she would get food the same time as our courses. It was weird because 3 of our courses came before she even got her appetizer. And then our entrees came before her and her side last. She ordered a steak and asked for truffle butter from the server and it never came. Our actual server was not that attentive, couldn't split checks, and bumped into my bag on the bag of my chair about 10 times and never said sorry. The food was all really good except the ribeye was very very fatty. That was my least favorite and I typically love steak. The branzino and the catch roll were favorites.

I tried out Catch Dallas during restaurant week and I have to admin, while I was skeptical at first, I was blown away! This place is really good and I can't wait to come back. The ambience makes you feel like you're transported to a nice, coastal restaurant and the staff is so nice and caring, no detailed is left off. Since it was restaurant week, we were given a tasting menu. I thought for each course we would select one item but I was wrong- they give you everything! It's designed so that it's for the table, but it's so much food we shared for 3 people and we were full. So let's dive in. First course- we were given the madai ceviche and a catch roll. The ceviche was really good and had a good flavor to it. The red snapper was a nice touch. The catch roll was addicting, I wanted more! Second course- we had a spinach artichoke salads which was mouthwatering. The mushrooms and leeks gave it a nice texture and the yuzo miso vinaigrette was nice and smooth. The crispy shrimp was my favorite- they were coated so well but lightly so it didn't feel heavy. The taste on it was also supurb. Finally, the crunchy rice cakes with tuna tartare was good too. Third course- the branzino was the star of the trio. While the salmon and streak were phenomenal, this branzino had an amazing flavor and had me wanting more. Dessert- the sorbet is house made and really good! You got three flavors that are changed up. Today we had raspberry lychee, banana guava, and strawberry. For $99 a person this was an amazing deal with great food!
First restaurant week we went to in 2025 and what a start.
First, the service was really good from walking in the door. There were a few lawyers gaps in the dishes but overall wasn't that big of an issue. The restaurant has a nautical feel to it but like a fancy dining room on an old ship. Food wise we were expecting to pick one from each course but it was a tasting menu so a lot of food. Basically everything was good. For the first course, we got Catch Sushi and Madai Ceviche. The ceviche was ok but the sushi was the star of this course. It is basically a California roll with seared salmon on top. The second course included Crunchy Rice Cakes, Crispy Shrimp, and a Spinach Artichoke Salad. The crunchy rice cakes were meh; the rice was too much and almost like a tater tot but the tuna on top was delicious. The crispy shrimp were fried perfectly and had the right amount of spice. The salad was by far the biggest surprise of the night. It wasn't the best dish of the night but was an incredible salad that I can't compare to one I've had before. The crispy shiitake and leeks on top were the perfect added touch. The third course was Salmon a la Plancha, Herb Roasted Branzino, and a NY Strip. For me the salmon was nothing special, just salmon. The herb roasted branzino was the best dish of this course - had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. The NY strip was coooked to a perfect medium rare. However parts of it were too salty for me. For dessert, got Warm Ricotta Donuts and Sorbet. The donuts were good; I liked the chocolate and white cream cheese on it. The sorbets are seasonal but strawberry was my favorite.

If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Catch Dallas at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Catch Dallas page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* BraveCloth47, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* BraveCloth47 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to BraveCloth47 for any questions Peter may have as BraveCloth47 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* BraveCloth47 now uses their connections at Catch Dallas to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If BraveCloth47 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, BraveCloth47 receives the $200 reward which is credited to BraveCloth47's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Catch Dallas!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
