Great experience
Sebby and the team were amazing. Very friendly and accommodating and the food and drink was great. First time enjoying caviar and it didnโt disappoint

Poor service. Over priced. I had to get up and get pepper from other side of counter myself. No water offered. Will not eat here again. I used to frequently but noticeable decline in service.

Tried caviar for the first time while in Harrods and it was amazing! Had the beluga caviar with toast points and creme freche and it is an experience I would definitely recommend and repeat! Also had 6 oysters which were fresh and of a good size. All in all a memorable experience

Our first visit and we will definitely come back. Janet Sullivan shared her knowledge & experience of cavier. Welcomed us to take a seat and advised the best selling cavier. The service we received from Raian was amazing. He certainly knows the menu from Champagne to Cavier. We throughly enjoyed every thing he recommended. Thanks again Raian & Janet.

The most expensive steak on a menu I've ever seen. Just as well that I don't eat steak. The service was impressive the food was ok. We did not eat that much as we dined out earlier that day an it was late. Harrods Store was closed but there was security all around and cameras. The walk through the store to the ladies and mens room was a little walk but I gazed at all the clothes and handbags. High ceilings with beautiful tiles, if you wanna splurge your cash, this is the place. I was glad it was late and we did not stay long. It was a ok experience but I don't think I would go back.

Back to The Caviar House - Just the Two of Us
We manage to get to The Caviar House & Prunier on St James Street, and Piccadilly, almost every trip to London. My wife was introduced to it, on her first business trip to the UK, and it has become a โmust-doโ for us.
We were back to London in December, but on a leisure trip, which is far less common, than to be there on business. It was between the Holidays, and we had no lunch plans, so we headed to The Caviar House - just the two of us.
I think that this was maybe only the third time we had dined at the St James & Piccadilly shop, without friends and board members, though I did visit solo once. We sat at the counter, which is sort of like sitting at the Chefโs Counter in a sushi restaurant, as we got to watch our orders being prepared. I had started us with a bottle of the Domaine Bzikot Pรจre et Fils Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru โ16, so we were set. My wife did not deviate from her โregular,โ the Tsarina - Blini-topped w/ crรจme fraiche and served w/ Balik smoked Salmon + 10 oz of Prunier Caviar.
I, on the other hand, deviated from my usual Smoked Scottish Salmon Plate, and went with full Seafood Platter, as we were early, and not dining until much later that evening. I had Salmon Two Ways, a succulent Oyster, Shrimp Two Ways, and Caviar. It was too bad that I could not share that Oyster with my wife (bi-valve allergy), and it was delicious, and I grew up on great Gulf Oyster, on the Mississippi/Louisiana Coast.
Service was great, and the restaurant was still decorated beautifully for Christmas, and that was a sight to behold.
Just another perfect lunch, and that is the reason that we dine here, on nearly every trip.
Just perfect!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Caviar House. Caviar, Balik and prawns - all perfect. Excellent food, excellent service!!! A very special treat.

Lovely Lunch at the Caviar House St James
Previously, about a year ago, I had dined at The Caviar House & Prunier on St James Street, and Piccadilly, but solo. On this visit, my wife I were joined by the person, who had introduced us both to The Caviar House, almost 2 decades before, plus one of my wifeโs UK board members, for lunch.
We were seated at the back 4-top, in the little dining area, and were able to take in the Holiday decorations all over the restaurant/store. Also, though it might have been just to make room for those decorations, things looked like they had changed, but maybe it felt that way, as I had dined at the counter, overlooking the food prep area, and the windows, looking out onto Piccadilly St.
We started with the Bread Selection w/ Salmon Mousse for the table, and a lovely Domaine Bzikot Pรจre et Fils Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru โ16. That did not last this table long, so we added the Domaine Patrick Miolane Chassagne-Montrachet La Caniรจre โ16. Farid, the manager, happened to have a bottle of the โ14, and we got to taste that as well.
I got talked into trying a new wine: the Chateau Belle-Vue La Renaissance from Bhamdoun-Mount Lebanon โ11 - very nice, and paired as well with the Salmon. The Caviar House has a short wine list, but always an interesting one, but there is a nice retail selection of wines - just behind our table, in several coolers.
The rest of the table went with the Tsarina - Blini-topped w/ crรจme fraiche and served w/ Balik smoked Salmon + 10 oz of Prunier Caviar - everyone got very quiet, until they were finished.
I went with the Scottish Smoked Salmon, which was great, so I was rather quiet, while eating too.
Oh, and those breads? Fantastic, as was the Salmon Mousse, plus the butters and the olive oil, which came with it.
Service was excellent, as was the food, and the wines. The preparation is not the quickest, but the slicing of the Salmon, resembles a great sushi chef - artwork takes a few minutes.
A great lunch, and we will definitely be back. As a side note, we stopped into the restaurant in T2 at LHR, before our flight home.
Lunch
It was a reasonable lunch but not outstanding. The service was good and friendly. We had a sharing platter which was ok but nothing special.

We had just arrived in London to celebrate the 53rd anniversary of our engagement and Caviar House was conveniently near Green Park Station. From stepping inside the door we had a very friendly welcome and were given the choice of a table or seats at the counter. We chose to sit at the counter and watch the action. The tempting menu made a choice very difficult but we were both really pleased with the
attractively plated dishes and the quality of the food. We also took the advice of the manager, Farid, and chose the Lebanese Red which was excellent. The whole experience was enhanced by the attentive and friendly service of Farid and his professional staff. A very special start to our 2 days in London.
Always excellent.
Great consistency between sites with this company. I have eaten at their Piccadilly, Selfridges and Heathrow sites and have never been disappointed. Great fresh seafood, wonderful service. Very impressive.
