Cinnamon Club London Reviews
Good for an evening with friends
Very large room, very noisy. Probably good for groups or with friends. Definitely not for a romantic evening My food was good. I had planned for an evening out. My food was served in 15 min
Still one of the top restaurants in London
We loved our visit here, it is as magical as ever. The food is always delicious and the service is charming, especially Shakel who looked after us brilliantly.
Definitely worth the second visit
My second visit in relatively quick succession. I enjoyed it just as much as the first one. Quiet efficient service, lovely surroundings but most importantly the food. I worked in Pakistan for two years and understood just how much more South Asi
Smart venue with good food and good service.
A lovely library type setting in an old style building. Good food and service within a different setting for an Indian restaurant which has been well established for many years. Well worth a visit.
Overrated and expensive
There’s no doubt that the Cinnamon Club has a great ambience located in the old Westminster Library but the menu is expensive and the food underwhelming. My husband had the venison at a whopping £40 and not only was the portion woefully small but
Amazing birthday celebration
I had a birthday celebration at the bar downstairs with 50 guests. The evening was absolutely amazing. The staff were fantastic and the food an epicurean delight. Thank you to the whole team for making my evening so special.
A Sensational Indian Fine Dining Experience in a Historic Setting

Excellent
Great food, great variety for both spice lovers and the less spice tolerant of us. I had the steak and it was delicious! Beautiful setting in a library as well
This is one of the best meals I've had in forever.
We did the 5 course tasting menu and each one was a revelation- packed with flavor, beautifully presented, nice portions. Service was polished and professional. Sitting among the old books of the former library is neat. The Mmm cocktail was just that
This experience exceeded our expectations.
We were not exactly sure of what to order in which order for our party if 5. The waiter was super helpful and we loved all of the dishes.

Upscale, sophisticated, cozy vibes with the amazing books on the walls. The servers were very attentive and helped with recommendations. Food, was nothing spectacular in my opinion. The flavors were good but it was nothing memorable in my opinion. I

We were recommended this restaurant by an acquaintance of one of the owners. The service was embarrassingly bad. I gave it two stars as the food was good. It started off with one of the oddest service encounters I have ever had dinning out. Our res

I was really hoping to love this spot after so much research on Indian Food in London. Most everyone was friendly but there were several food runners that just did not provide the level of service expected when you chose the tasting menu. No descrip
Great food, great service, great ambiance.
Treated very well even though we were in casual clothes and wandered in for lunch without reservation. The setting in an old library was really fun and felt special. Recommended to us by an attendant at the nearby Taj hotel, where the Indian restau
I really enjoyed my solo trip to this restaurant.
Service was certainly the highlight, but the food was fantastic as well. I selected the Summer Festival tasting menu. It was great! The food wasn't too heavy, which was perfect for the mood I was in. As long as you don't expect fully 'authentic' Ind

This is a 5 star restaurant in every way.
Ambience, service, and for course the food. This is one of the best kept secrets in London and was our best meal by far, and we visited multiple Michelin restaurants. Came to London from SF and this is next level. Shocking to me this place doesn't ha

My Birthday surprise
This was a surprise organised by my wife. We turned up early to an empty restaurant, but were well looked after and guided to a beautiful table in a wonderful setting. Within minutes the restaurant started filling up as we enjoyed our champagne. The
Very noisy, wine overpriced
The Indian fusion food is tasty and unusual. The wine list is unnecessarily complex and way overpriced. In addition the waiter tried to push inferior wine at a higher price. The really off-putting factor is the noise. It was impossible to hear the pe
Absolutely outstanding!
Truly an outstanding, once-in-a-lifetime experience. The atmosphere is so terrific in the old, 19th-century library space. We did the tasting menu, which was pure heaven, and the wine pairing were wonderful. The food was mind-blowing, but it's really
WOW!
I have wanted to eat at the Cinnamon Club for a while and finally did this weekend and I have to say that I was not disappointed. The building inside is lovely, service is really slick and the food is amazing. I would definitely go back again
Wonderful restaurant in an exceptional setting
What a spectacular restaurant! Situated in an old public library with a great ambiance and spectacular food. Even the alcohol-free drinks were exceptionally good. Extremely friendly personnel, highly professional. We had a delightful evening.
High end Indian
Quite a busy place for a weekday but enjoyed the dishes I had including the desserts. It is a high end Indian so don’t expect volume of food.
DIFFERENTLY DELICIOUS
This is an Indian restaurant but chicken tikka masala or lamb dopiaza will not be on offer. I like both, but, no worries, for this is a fine dining establishment and we were looking for something different to standard Indian fare. The food here is
creative Indian in a warm atmosphere
I love the atmosphere, in a library! Indian recipes reinvented with a modern touch but well rooted in the traditions. Italian wine sommelier to recommend good pairings.
Excellent modern Indian cuisine
We attended a themed dinner event with matching wines. We had not been to The Cinnamon Club before and this evening has certainly tempted us to go again. Chef Vivek Singh was in attendance and spoke about the food and wine and came over very well.
Be careful
Check out the food hygiene website Scores On the Doors before you book. Used to love this place and was very disappointed after a looooong night having eaten here…

I enjoyed the atmosphere very much in the old library.
The service was excellent. Food was very flavorful. we had the seasonal tasting menu which was plenty of food. Enjoyed the wine pairings and the sommelier was extremely knowledgeable.
The atmosphere is beautiful, yet lacking.
Yes, there are a lot of books, but it doesn't feel like a library in any way -- none of that cosy feel. The downstairs with the facilities was terribly under-maintained. I don't mean it wasn't clean, but the finishes were truly worn out visually and
Very good, a la carte.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Cinnamon Club London at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Cinnamon Club London page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Cinnamon Club London to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection

* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Cinnamon Club London!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
