If I could give zero stars I would.

1/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Kelsey G. on 04/08/2024

My friends and I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. Our waiter was super rude from the minute we walked in. Ordered a bottle for our table, within 2 minutes of sitting down we were pressured to order food while half of the restaurant was empty. We tried to order a few appetizers to share but because every person in the party (only 5 people in our reservation) didn't order something we were kicked out. They would not let us order another bottle or the appetizers we wanted. He stated he wasn't going to waste his time waiting on us if we wanted to share appetizers. They would not let us finish our drinks without bringing the pay check 1 minute later. The waiter was very rude and in our faces the entire time and then got the manager to tell us to leave while we were saying hi to our friends. Really weird experience. Don't waste your money here.

The 2pm seating is a very fun lunch

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @David D on 03/17/2024

So, the 2pm seating is the party seating, the noon seating is just for lunch. The food, especially the Fondue, is tasty and hits the spot after a day on the slopes. The wine and champagne flow nicely with the meal but is a quick 45-50min to order, eat and clear, because at 3pm the DJ takes over and the next thirty minutes are a fairly unique experience. One the music really starts, people are on their chairs spraying champagne like you see in a locker room of a world title team, pick any sport. Depending on the crowd, you can walk out with a wet coat or like you just went swimming. The ski run down after lunch at Cloud9 is slower and more enjoyable than most, youโ€™re basically the last people down the mountain.

Very posh! Amazing views.

3/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Val R. on 02/20/2024

Food was too heavy for a mid-ski meal. And there were no good options for veg or dairy-free. Basically, people go so that they can say they were there.

This was a beyond disappointing experience.

1/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Kylie M. on 02/17/2024

We made a "standard apres" reservation for 1:45 pm as we wanted the apres experience at cloud 9, not the lunch experience that we would have at an earlier seating. When we arrived we were seated at a table crammed between other tables that barely fit our 6 people around. No one came to our table for at least 15-20 minutes- when someone finally came over we tried to order a couple bottles of wine but were told VERY rudely that we could not drink unless we ordered food. The attitude from the server was so off putting that we wanted to leave instantly. We said we would order a couple appetizers for the table (as we'd already eaten lunch prior to 2pm) but were told that we'd all need to order an entree otherwise she could only give us each a half glass of wine (the allotted food:alcohol ratio was extremely arbitrary and nothing I've experienced at any mountain bar/restaurant EVER). We were told that this is for "liability" issues and is a "restaurant policy". This was not mentioned anywhere in the reservation booking. Needless to say we were not interested in ordering full meals when we'd already eaten and were just looking to have a couple drinks and a fun time. We couldn't get up and leave fast enough- when you're gonna pay the outrageous prices they're charging for wine, I'd at least like to be served with a smile and not treated like the scum of the earth by the extremely condescending staff. Spend your money at the many other wonderful places on the mountain and avoid this place at all costs!

Mid mountain restaurant and famed aprรจs ski party site on

4/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Tony J. on 02/09/2024

Mid mountain restaurant and famed aprรจs ski party site on Aspen Highlands. Not a big lodge, with a cramped indoor space that sits 20-30 guests and an outdoor patio that's about the same size. Ski/snowboard in and out. Definitely get a later reservation ($50 deposit minimum, 1:30 or 1:45pm) to get into the party. The food is pricey, and the champagne list is even pricier. My friend and I both got a hot chocolate to start. It's an okay hot chocolate for $8. The prix fixe mains are like $68 each and includes soup or salad. I got the short rib and got the soup. The soup is a shellfish (maybe lobster) bisque which was decent. The short rib came with some greens and potatoes. Tasted fine, although portion is not that big. Lastly, ordered the chocolate fondue which is $25 and can only be ordered if your group has 2 or more people. Portion wise this was pretty big, and has a bunch of ingredients like berries, marshmallows, cookie chunks etc. to dip into the chocolate sauce. Overall bill including tip was around $120 per person. Will be a lot more if you order alcohol. The apres-ski party starts at around 2:30pm, and happens in the outdoor space. Highrollers that buy champagne are given special champagne spray guns that look like Thompson submachineguns. The DJ starts blasting the tunes and everybody is singing along and dancing (as well as you could in ski/snowboard boots) while people spray thousands of dollars worth of champagne all over the place. Was a bluebird sunny day when I was there, so got the beautiful backdrop of the blue skies, snow on the ski runs and mountains in the distance. Party ends at about 3:45pm after all the lifts close, and hopefully you're not too drunk to get down the mountain. Overall, a pricey but fun experience. The food is okay and not great for the price, but it's the setting and the party that makes the experience.

so not worth it

1/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Julie L on 01/20/2024

I wanted to treat my 2 kids & 4 of their friends (all in the mid-twenties) to a special treat at Cloud Nine. However, I could not have been more disappointed in the experience. First off, our waiter (John ?) was very rude and condescending to the young adults. He was professional with me, but his attitude to our table in general was inexcusable. When the young adults asked questions about items on the menu, John rudely talked down to them like they were idiots, when all he should have done is answer their questions politely. On top of that, the food was barely average. I ordered the Pasta Bolognese, and I have had better pasta from Olive Garden. The only really good food on the table was the bread that was brought at the beginning of the meal. That alone was delicious. We dined at many other restaurants in Aspen during my visit, and all of them had excellent food and service. Unfortunately, Cloud Nine was NOT one of them.

Best Party you will have on the snow ever

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @RMM1234 on 01/09/2024

To be honest I thought I was too old for this restaurant but it was the best fun lunch at the snow Iโ€™ve had for over 50 years. Food was great but you are there for the party and expect to wear a lot of champagne

Smells like pooey. Cheapest glass of wine is $40. They'll ask you to lie to them just to get in. Kitchen closed before three. We walked out so cannot speak to food or drink quality.

Good lunch

4/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @jasoncrh on 03/03/2023

I was here for lunch this past Monday before the craziness set in. Overall, I really enjoyed it. Our server was friendly, I enjoyed the soup, and the basically bottomless fondue was delicious. Nice glass of wine to accompany. A little pricey but it makes sense given the location. I will definitely visit again.

The coolest ski in/out restaurant ever.

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Britney A. on 02/27/2023

Incredible views. Champagne flowing and the DJ always rocking, its a day club on the top of the ski hill. You have to make a reservation a year+ in advance if you want a table inside (which we did not) but got to hang inside for a bit with some new friends we made in line for the bathroom(it was super crowded). Food was average but vibe was 10/10

I got in to the 2pm seating with two friends, but they sat

1/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @J G. on 02/17/2023

I got in to the 2pm seating with two friends, but they sat us in the no spray/family room. At 3pm the party breaks loose. Great music and people were having a good time all around us, but not where we were seated. I saw others go back and forth between outside and inside, and I went outside to take a quick photo. When I tried to go back in the door to my table less than 10 ft away I was grabbed by the arm by what I can only describe as an elderly rent a cop. He very forcefully pulled my arm down and pushed me backwards. I have never ever been touched like that in my life. AFTER grabbing me he said I couldn't use that door and had to use another entrance. I was so confused and said "my table is right there." He argued with me and blocked the door. I had one glass of wine all day at this point and wasn't by any means drunk or looking for a problem. A waiter walked by and I asked where I could enter and pointed to my table nearby. He told the security guard to let me go in. The security guard said "well she never told me she was right there." I cannot believe his behavior. I should have spoken to someone in charge at the time, but I was so shocked by his aggressive behavior. A couple at a table inside asked if I was ok and commented on how absurd the whole thing was. Shortly after my friends and I left. Don't pay this kind of money to be treated like shit. Also the reviews about the food are true--it's not that good.

The smell of sulfur is nauseating.

1/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Amanda K. on 02/13/2023

$60 for one person is fine if it is worth it. We had a group of four for the fondue and they gave us one tiny platter ... after a morning of skiing that's a SNACK. I left feeling still hungry. This place is the definition of a rip off. It's just an overpriced instagram spot. NOT WORTH IT.
