The food was great, don't get me wrong. The Prime Porterhouse for Two ($125) was juicy, delicious, and well seasoned, and the asparagus ($13) was perfectly cooked. The service, however, was atrocious. My boyfriend and I came on a Friday afternoon after seeing the phenomenal reviews of this location. We were seated and waited over 10 minutes to even get any type of service or a menu. We waited another 20 minutes to flag down a waiter to take our order. After ordering, we waited over half an hour for our food. The restaurant was not even busy. We watched as the owner came and greeted every single table EXCEPT us and the only other table with a young Asian couple. Sure didn't feel like a coincidence. And let me tell you... the demographics of this restaurant were mostly older and white. We watched as every single waiter seemed to ignore us, and we never got as much as a refill of water. Thank goodness for the one Hispanic busboy who noticed and came over to address our concerns. At the end, we were offered a complimentary dessert. I think the waiter noticed how upset we were and really pushed for it despite us just wanting to leave ASAP. Dessert was good, but did it smooth over our experience? No. The single prop that I will give this establishment is that the food here is actually really good. That's why it's a shame for me to have to rate so poorly. No customers should EVER leave a restaurant feeling as unseen and unheard as we did. Do better.
