Cosimo's Woodbury Reviews from The Last Year

Yes this place is amazing! I'll admit that there are some dishes that I just don't like at all but it doesn't even matter because there are so so many that I LOVE and also the people here are wonderful and the restaurant is so nice. I love this place!!!
Go to Parm in the outlet mall instead much better.
This place wanted to make an extra two dollars on my bill because they didn't want to do something that they could've did I seen they had a hot sausage and hot pepper pizza with onions on the menu. I asked the waiter if I could get the pizza but with regular sausage and regular red pepper he told me no problem. Two minutes later he comes back tells me they don't have red pepper. Meanwhile, they have a Caprese salad with red pepper on the menu, but I didn't want to be difficult so I said OK. Just make it with sausage and onion he said OK comes back two minutes later tells me they don't have sausage so I say to him well you have a Caprese salad on the menu that has red pepper and you have a pasta with broccoli Rabe and sausage on the menu. Why can't you just take the sausage from that and the peppers from the Caprese salad and put it on the pizza, he turns to me and says I can make you a sausage and onion pizza. I look at him. I say I thought you didn't have sausage. He says no we have sausage so i'm disappointed now so i just say to him you know what I'm just gonna leave. I feel like this place doesn't take care of the guest, the way they should why couldn't they just take the sausage and pepper and put it on the pizza it makes no sense it's not like anything is more money you're not losing money anything you gain money hot pepper is more expensive than regular. this is bad hospitality. I know a lot of people in the hospitality business that own restaurants and they will go above and beyond for the Guest. I think using a different sausage and using a pepper is no big deal. There should've been no problem should've been done instead. They lost a guest that would've eaten there over 1000 times over the years and they lost a guest that will tell everyone not to go there. These people don't know business i hope they change their policy if somebody wants regular sausage instead of hot sausage just give it to him. No questions asked

I don't like to leave a bad reviews until someone deserves it,, I I drove 30 minutes to a take out food in the Woodbury location! Before I placed the order I checked the menu on google, and apparently the prices wasn't updated! So when the young cashier gave me the total and I explained that I saw a different prices online, she call the manager NATHALIA to honor the price and she refused and said that it was not from the official cosimos website! And moreover she told me, is like a find a Chanel bad online for $300 dollars and pretend that you will pay that price! NATHALIA YOU SHOULD NOT BE WORKING AT COSIMOS! YOU SHOULD BE WORKING AT THE KITCHEN WITH NOT INTERACTIONS WITH CUSTOMERS!! SHE DONT REPRESENT THE RESTAURANT! I been leaving in Orange County for the past 20 years and this is the first time I see someone that works there with such as low class!
Came here for a birthday celebration.
Group of 7. We ordered the polenta appetizer which was really yummy. Most of the group ordered personal pizzas. One person ordered a pasta dish. The pizza was alright. I ordered the margarita pizza. The cheese didn't quite melt like fresh mozzarella melts. It made me wish I ordered the regular cheese pizza. We ordered two bottles of wine. First choice they didn't have or couldn't fin. Second bottle took a while to find and get brought to our table. Not the end of the world- certainly a 1st world problem. Our waitress was great. Really tried to make sure we were happy with everything. The things we didn't like weren't in controls so 5 stars for her. Overall- not a bad place for a nice meal that won't break the bank.
It's been serval years since we've come here for food.
I now recall why we didn't bother. We decided to venture in to taste their "brick oven pizza". It hands down tasted like pre-made pizza. Didn't have that nice crisp crust; floppy. The oil with olives were good. Drinks were good. Chicken tenders and fries doable. Service was ok. On to the next place.
The evening management is terrible.
The shorter Italian" manager needs to be replaced
Had a great meal here after a day at the outlets.
Started with a pear martini and an Aperol spritz then some fresh bread and a dish of assorted olives. Dinners included chicken franchise and cheese ravioli. Both were very good. A very personable young lady took care of us who was present but not overbearing. Cute place. Would return. Calamari looked delicious but we weren't hungry enough to try the huge portion.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
It is quick and easy for takeout and nice and comfortable to dine in. The service is out of this world. They have a large menu of comfort Italian food. The food tastes authentic and delicious. You gotta try this place.

Passed this place numerous times and ignored- all my friends told me I have to stop and ignored... we finally stopped and now I'm upset because I did not listen. Super good Italian food! One of my favorites now for Italian food in the Harriman area .
We ordered online and drove an hour for pickup.
Paid almost 100 bucks for four people including a prepaid tip. Drove back to the hotel to find three of the orders were not even close to the right orders. They didn't even provide utensils or napkins for a to go order. Tried calling for a manager and was placed on eternal hold. Really disappointed since it was supposed to be a celebratory dinner during a rain storm. We won't be returning. Photos attached.
Restaurant Review: I've ordered takeout from this location
Restaurant Review: I've ordered takeout from this location many times, and the food consistently impresses. Today, I ordered fried calamari, the wood fire margherita pizza, a Caesar salad, and the sun-dried tomato penne alla vodka. Among them, the penne alla vodka remains my favorite. Upon picking up the food, I noticed the restaurant was bustling, especially for a Saturday night. It's become my go-to spot for ordering food for my office staff.
The food is okay at BEST.
But that is not the point of this review . I had the worst experience due to the lack of customer service in this establishment. A young lady who I assumed was a hostess greeted us with dirty looks and an entitled attitude and treated me and my daughters like pigs. I have never been so disgusted with treatment until I realized all of the workers are just as miserable.

I only found out after we ate there that this is a chain restaurant, and so I'm glad I didn't let that have an impact on whether we would try it -- 'cause it was really good! They don't take reservations, but our group of 3 was seated right away, even on a Saturday night. The place was packed, and our table was in the bar, so it was a bit loud. But we weren't rushed at all by our wonderful server, whose name I wish I'd gotten! Although Cosimo's seems to be know for it's pizza, we ended up getting pasta and chicken dishes. We shared the crispy mozzarella to start, although we didn't see or taste the prosciutto that was supposed to be inside it. I had spaghetti Sicilian (eggplant, tomato sauce, mozzarella) and really enjoyed it. Light and flavorful. One person in our party got the chicken francese; also a light dish (it comes with pasta), and I thought perhaps too light. There was very little lemon flavor to it. The third person got the grilled chicken penne without the olives. We all tasted everyones; I thought the pesto was a bit bitter, but it still worked with the combination of other flavors. The bread and olive oil were all fabulous, and again, our server was super helpful. Even with a mix of reviews on what we had, we definitely plan to return, whether here or at another one of their locations.

Lovely to eat in or take out! My daughter has celiac so our options are limited and she LOVES their gluten free pizza. Never had cross-contamination. Everything we've ever ordered has been delicious. Enjoy!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
