The corn pudding is so good. I ordered the combo along with some fried green tomatoes. The service was prompt and friendly. Although it wasn't too busy at the time, sometimes that can lead to worse service, but not here. Brisket was not too dry. They had grits too yum! I would go back. You can't double up on the same meat in the combo. It has a nice feel to, kinda like a typical pub in terms of decor and space

We tried for 10 days to do a catering order, no response as much as we tried, online, by phone, leaving message with an actual person, via email. Nothing. This was a total disappointment at lack of customer service. what a shame and I guess we will go someplace else that wants our business.

I will say that the service is good and friendly, but the food is not for me. First things first, I'm a non pork eater, so maybe I missed the best. The brisket was really fatty and the bbq sauce was ok. I was super hyped to try the mustard bbq sauce, but it was non appetizing to me. I'm glad I tried it because I was super curious, but it's likely I won't return. Still try it for yourself.

I'm going to admit that this place wasn't even our radar for dinner. A group of eight (four adults and four kids), just left the White Sox game and went to a local brewery for beers and thought we would eat there until we arrived and learned they were out of food for the day. So we turned to Yelp and we found this place and I'm sure glad we did. Not a very large space inside, and with a larger sized group (requiring one highchair), we were worried about getting a table. But they moved some tables around and got us seated immediately! We shared the smoked meat sampler and got the pulled pork, brisket, pastrami and buffalo wings. The brisket and pastrami were definitely the best of the meats but the other two were still very good. We then did the three sides for $18 and got the mac and cheese, sweet potato fries and maple glazed bacon. The mac and cheese and sweet potato fries were a hit for the kids and the adults really loved the maple glazed bacon. Great experience here and they apparently have a large outdoor patio that we'll check out next time if it's not 90+ degrees again when we go. And we'll definitely be back now knowing it's only 10-15 minutes from Guaranteed Rate Field.

I had the pulled pork and coleslaw. There's nothing more they could've done to improve. Even the house bbq sauce was so exceptional, lovely and vinegary, why bother with the hotter sauce?
We had Rib tips, wings, bacon, and some sides.
Sadly, we didn't enjoy any of them. Rib tips were so DRY and hard. A lot of good rib tips are usually soft and fatty, but the one here was the exact opposite. Wings were okay, and bacon was also hard and okay. They have so many good reviews, and I am wondering why or what manu people actually like at this place..

I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

You should probably cancel prior to the cancellation date per the cancellation policy. I would imagine you would only get reimbursed for a sold listing if you happen to be charged?

My first sale took about a week. But as the other commenter said stay ontop of your cancellation windows. There’s no reimbursement for those so make sure you cancel in time then just try again.
