Great place!
Great place! We were guests of another couple that got us in and hosted. Opened with Truffle Fries which you can see the calories run off of but were amazing. Prime rib sandwich Lobster Roll, Pasta and Rack of ribs were all great. Server was incredible. Very busy and obvious in demand. Tends toward expensive
Be the first to ReplyGreat appetizers
We visited for the first time based on the reviews. We had several appetizers and glasses of wine. The waiter recommended the Dungeness Crab Dip, which we ordered. He was right....it was delicious!!! We also had the Brussel Sprouts and the Potato Croquettes. Both were very good. Our server was very good. Good recommendations and great followup.
Be the first to ReplyWell balance of flavors
We enjoyed the brussel sprouts appetizer. Not drenched in oil with a balance of flavors. Salmon was awesome. As with the appetizer, well balance of flavors that did not over power the well cooked salmon. We also enjoyed the burger.

Our waitress was one of the best we have encountered in many years! New every item on the menu along with personal recommendation
Be the first to ReplyLoved their brunch options, too
Met up with our kids (adults) to celebrate my wife’s birthday with COV’s amazing brunch options. If you like their dinner, you’ll devour their brunch. My son had the amazing lobster roll - like a taste of New England. My daughter and I each ordered the crab cake Benedict…so delicious with a massive serving of hashbrowns. So very very good! My wife tried the croque madame- huge ham and cheese deliciousness. If it’s s nice early fall day - you’ll want to grab an outdoor table like we did. If so, get there early as they fill up quickly. If you love their dinners, you’ll love this breakfast/brunch menu. We did!

Went for dinner; our server was great! The drinks, appetizers, food were wonderful. We didn't have room for dessert, but there is always next time.

The restaurant was fabulous! They had one of my favorite bourbons, Weller, and so many seafood choices I felt like I was back home in New England. Sarah, the bartender, was so attentive, and the place is really beautiful this time of year. It would be my local hangout if I lived nearby. Thanks for a great dinner! Hope to be back soon.
Be the first to ReplyBad management
I complained to the Manager in charge and I was totally ignored. My complaint was about servers hanging out near our table. We never got a follow up or check back and left 30 minutes later feeling very disrespected.

I went there on a date on a Monday night and the place was packed. Service was slow as a result but still highly professional. I had a vermouth & tonic (ok, not great) and sushi for an appetizer. The sushi was amazing..however, I am not sure why they chose soy paper as a wrapper and not regular seaweed?

What has happened to this restaurant? It used to be very good.I took visiting family there last night and the meal was a ridiculously overpriced disappointment from beginning to end, with overcooked burger, overcooked shrimp, overcooked pizza, overcooked chicken nuggets for the kids and overcooked mahi mahi. I would have sent everything back if my guests were not heading to the airport. The restaurant seems to be on a downward trajectory. There are many other great choices in the area.I will definitely not be returning to Cov.
Be the first to ReplySpecially great atmoshere !
Food is an 8 to 10 , Atmosphere a 10 , service a 9. Worth it !! They dont take reservations but worth going to this unique surburban restaurant . You'd think you were in Hawaii really great ambience !
Be the first to ReplyFancy restaurant prices for low end meal!
This restaurant was loud and way overpriced for mediocre food. My husband and I split an entree and they charged $12 to plate it which wasn’t asked for. Server was not friendly and we paid $40 for 3 bites of overdone fish.

Excellent menu. I had a hard time deciding what to get because there were so many wonderful options. The outdoor seating is nicely shaded with tables comfortably spaced. All four of us ordered something different which made it an even be3tter treat. You could tell all of the ingredients were high quality. The hash browns are ridiculous!!! Good service as well.
Be the first to ReplyDown Hill all the way
I have been going to the Cov for lunch for quite a while now, and normally it is worth it. But, now with more people dining out, things are going down hill fast. The service is always exceptional, as are all the staff. The exception is the kitchen. It does NOT pay attention to what those attending patrons request. The last 5 visits have ended up with one of the two meals being returned for proper cooking. This last time BOTH meals were wrong with one being returned to the kitchen for proper cooking and the the sent back due to no way to repair it! The quality of their food, based on the price is not comparable. Their food products are dropping down to "I do not want to eat there anymore".
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful atmosphere, especially in summer.
Try to get a table outside on a summer evening. The food is pricey and good. Our server was very friendly and attentive.
We will go back again.
Great atmosphere for brunch!
I've been to CoV numerous times for both lunch and dinner, but this was a first for brunch. The menu selection was great, although I would love for special brunch drinks to be listed on the menu (e.g., mimosas). The free caramel roll was delicious and worth coming for on its own. As for my meal, I had the standard eggs benedict. The flavor was great, but it was a little cold. I also like a thicker piece of ham and this had thin lunchmeat ham folded a few times on it. Again, it tasted great and I would likely order again. Prices are a little high for standard items. I will still be back for brunch again for the caramel roll!
Be the first to ReplyCarry out so yummy!
Carry out so yummy! Food was ready when we arrived and warm when we ate it at home. Staff was checking masks and temps at the door, which we appreciated.
