Desi Vega's Steakhouse New Orleans Reviews from The Last Year
Been a few times, never had the whole experience correctly
Been a few times, never had the whole experience correctly until tonight. Apparently needed Kevin to be at our table. Tonight Kevin lead the crew with harmonious help. We came with a large 10 top for a birthday. Had much food and drinks without any pressure and a completely excellent vibe. The kitchen killed it and that comes without being versed in Nola fine dining. When you come know you need your own server. Ask for Kevin for the correct experience

Good food, average service but so noisy you can't hear the group you are with talking. I don't think I would be anxious to go there again.
Where to begin.
Food. I would say the best filet in town! Sides were amazing and plenty to share. I am a French onion soup snob,(had it seven times in Paris), and it was divine! From the beginning, our party of five fell in love with Terrance and Thomas! And the gentleman with him, it was Double T double D! From napkin in the lap to folded if you left the table(it's the little things that are few and far between). They watched to see if refills were needed and were beyond attentive! The entree presentation was awesome! I cannot say enough good things! Fixing to enjoy a chocolate martini before leaving! It's a must if you are visiting Nola!
The Ambiance was amazing but the seating is a little
The Ambiance was amazing but the seating is a little crowded and tableare small. My steak was salty and over cooked while the mac and cheese was bland. For the price and outcome of the food I would probably not go back.
Subject: UnGift Card Limitations – Seeking Resolution
My husband received a generous $300 worth of Desi Vega gift cards as a gesture of appreciation for covering an on-call shift. Excitedly, we decided to use these gift cards to celebrate our 11-year anniversary at your restaurant.working as an attorney, we used to receive many Ruth’s steak house gift cards but with recent merger we started to desi Vega. To our dismay, when attempting to use the gift cards, we discovered they were only valid for the Metairie location. This was unexpected, as we had assumed Desi Vega's was a restaurant chain with transferable gift cards. The restriction felt like a slap in the face, and we find it unacceptable that such limitations were not communicated clearly when the gift cards were given. If Desi Vega's gift cards are location-specific, it might be helpful to update the branding to avoid potential confusion. While I understand policies vary, I believe clear communication regarding gift card restrictions is crucial for a positive customer experience. I hope this feedback can contribute to an improved process. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. We have always enjoyed our experiences at Desi Vega's, and it is my sincere hope that this situation can be addressed. Don’t waste your time on this restaurant and especially don’t give gift cards to others since they have limited use. I am left with $300 worth of gift cards after having to spend $290 with tip. I’ve been to the Metairie location and they should shut it down it’s a dudgeon. If your gift cards are non transferable change your name!!

My husband and I dined at Desi Vegas Steakhouse to
My husband and I dined at Desi Vegas Steakhouse to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere, and mouthwatering options , like the fish of the day, steak bruschetta, and ribeye steak. The Redfish was delicious with a mild, slightly sweet flavor topped with lump crab meat. The steak bruschetta had grilled steak slices served on toasted bread, topped with tomatoes, garlic, basil, and a balsamic glaze. It was delicious and a larger portion than we expected. Not to be outdone, my husband's bone-in ribeye steak, also known as a Cowboy steak, was a rich and flavorful cut, very tender and juicy. Throughout the evening, we indulged in a variety of cocktails and mock-tails. To top off our celebration we received a complementary sweet and rich brownie. Adrian and Dennis, our servers, provided us with superb service, ensuring our anniversary dinner was truly memorable.
Overall had a really good experience.
The staff was very friendly and pleasant, from the parking attendant to the wait staff. Everyone was very nice. The ambiance was really nice and relaxing. It was definitely a place you can have a good meal and good conversation. The food and drinks were really good.
Disappointing
We had such a great experience this summer that we really talked up the service and food to our very good friend. It took 30 minutes to get wine, an additional 20 to get mixed drinks and at that point we ordered appetizers with our entrees as to we were attending a play. Our appetizers were very good, our steaks not so much. All of us ordered medium rare, the picture below is my mediocre medium steak. Our friend sent his filet back because it was blue, a male came up and argued with him that it was cooked as requested, mind you our friend is a Chef. It was so disappointing and a let down for a $1,200 dollar meal.

Stopped in for dinner, slightly underdressed but they still sat us and we were pleasantly pleased. Ambiance gave very much date night and servers were extremely attentive. We ordered a couple cocktails that hit you after the fact, the Who Dat Shrimp... were luke warm in temp but still good with a blue cheese crumble wedge salad that was tasty. A ribeye, medium-well that could have used a pinch of coarse kosher salt, but still delicious... With 3 sides, served family style-garlic mash were ok, sautéed mushrooms were good, but baaabbbyyy the brussel sprouts were delectable... my friend and I were fighting over them the next day.... Get the brussel sprouts!!! Yum! Service was stellar, and they even accommodated splitting our wedge salad, our steak, and the bill...would definitely return!
Seafood augratin was ok.
Who dat shrimp were excellent. Will be back for those. Ordered Oreo cheesecake it it came as bites. Was disappointed.
Great food.
Very strict about dress attire. Make sure you inquire before showing up.
The food was delicious and the service was above and beyond.
This was the perfect date night.
Business attire on a Saturday? No thank you.
Restaurants provide 2 things: food, and ambience. This review is about ambience. The whole point in dining out is it is a relaxing and enjoyable experience, it takes the weight of cooking (and washing up) off the diner's shoulders and, hopefully, does things with the food that the diner never could themselves. Having a dress code is the antithesis of creating enjoyment. I booked to eat here on a Saturday, and was immediately sent a snobby email reminding me that I attend in business attire. Business attire... on a Saturday? I can only assume they must get a lot of estate agents dining here (I think you call them realtors) because nobody else I know dresses for business on Saturday. I immediately cancelled. It's not that I didn't have a suit with me, it's the simple principle that the ambience was immediately destroyed by them even having a dress code. Maybe this is a cultural difference. In Europe, nowhere has a dress code. I have eaten at De Karmiliet in Bruges in a vest (it was a hot day) and the Fat Duck in a hoodie (it was cold), and others in whatever I through on that day, usually shorts and a t shirt. Proper, welcoming staff make you feel as important as the rest of the clientele no matter what. I don't yet have much experience of dining in the US but I've also booked Arnaud's and Emeril's for my stay here; if they also request a suit I'll be walking right back out the door and heading to Acme Oyster House - delicious and loud and every bit of ambience a restaurant needs!
Great stuffed crab appetizer plus wonderful ambiance.
Great place for a Friday night dinner!
Just go to Ruth's Chris...
Let me start off by saying I'll never cheat on Ruth's Chris again when it comes to steak. This place was terrible! From the time we sat down it was 2 hours before we got any other food and we had to ask for bread. It took them 20 minutes to bring the check(they won't split checks either) My steak was tender but the flavor was very much lacking in almost every dish. This place couldn't touch Ruth's Chris with a 10 foot pole . Service was bad food was just okay and way over priced for what they served. Just go to Ruth's Chris where you don't have to ask for refills and they can assure your steak will be cooked right this place literally tells you they can't do anything more than medium well which is honestly a red flag because if you can cook a steak you should be able to make it no matter how someone likes it . We had a party of 7 and everyone of us were disappointed and felt like Ruth's Chris is much better.
Best steakhouse so far!!
Our family is on a mission to eat at all the highly rated steakhouses in New Orleans and last Saturday we went to Desi Vegas. This is the best restaurant for steaks so far. Service was excellent and the ambiance is bright and airy. We all enjoyed their cocktail menu. Our starters included fried green tomatoes with crab, a butter lettuce salad with pears, candied walnuts and bleu cheese, special salad with goat cheese and crab and the tuna Napoleon. A Cesar salad and a wedge salad were also ordered. All servings were generous and they were not skimpy with the crab. Everyone was pleased with their choices. For the main event 2 petite filets with béarnaise , a ribeye with oscar( crab, asparagus and béarnaise) and a New York strip. All were cooked to our exact specifications and the quality of meat top notch. Sides were also generous enough to share: crystal onion rings, mushrooms and creamed spinach. The onion rings are lightly battered and thin rings. They will warm up great in an air fryer, by the way! We were very sated but did manage to share a red velvet brownie with ice cream and a crepe brûlée. Both were good. It was a tasty excellent meal and our absolute favorite for both steaks and sides. It is expensive but we’ll worth it especially if you are celebrating a special occasion.
Desi Vegas is “The Place” in NOLA
People, people, people. This is “The Place” to dine in NOLA. Exquisite menu, wine selection and bar. It was recommended to us and so I am recommending to you. Lobster, mixed grill, NY strip, gulf fish, scallops, shrimp and all the sides of sweet potatoes, asparagus, lyonnaise potatoes and the meatballs. This place cannot disappoint. The staff is very attentive. Chris, Diego, Adrian, Gregoria were all so helpful and welcoming. Service was amazing, food is delicious and the pairings were on point. We drove 7 hours to NOLA. Ate here twice during our stay. We will return.

That's what AT sponsorships are for - and you are only paying 25% in the first year and then less in year two and three.
I beliebe @EternalAnt36 was sponsored by @PerceptiveWash44 and is now doing $25k/mo.
You can write on the top sellers profiles (type 'Top 10' in the searchbar) and then tap request sponsorship button after you found the guy or gal like to work with!
