Lake Pandin Hospitality
If you are looking for a different experience, Lake Pandin is one of the places you should visit. Upon reaching the parking area, you take a P30/person tricycle ride to get to the lake. It's quite a distance and steep to walk. Once you get there, there is a receptionist that will book you a raft. Rates are P1,500 for 2 persons, P1800 for 3 persons, and P550/person for groups of 4 or more. This includes the bangkero, rice, fried tilapia, sauted shrimps and bottled water. You can have additional broiled pork belly, or fresh buko on request. The raft will be taken to the farthest end of the lake where you park, eat your meal, and the option to take a dip in the lake with a lifevest on. The 2-hour experience was indeed refreshing. I enjoin you to come here.

This was the highlight of our recent trip. It’s approx. 30-minute drive from Cocoland Compound in San Pablo. Medical certificate is required in order to push through with this activity (this may vary depending on how pandemic progresses)
Pandin Lake was so serene. It was such a beauty when we went there. We paid for a little over Php 1,500 (approx $30) for a 2-hour bamboo raft trip, inclusive of lunch & drinks.
This activity is highly recommended, scenic view, cold water to swim, friendly boatmen. Just go and relax :)
Be mesmerized
If you are fascinated with nature, then you have to Visit Lake Pandin. 15 mins trek to the lake. They offer balsa ride, lunch and you can also swim in the lake provided with life vest. Short hike over looking lake Yambo was a great experience. This place is kid friendly, perfect everyone... Be mesmerized by its beauty....

a great escape from a busy day with home cooked foods serve in the floating raft while providing livelihood to women in the area

Clean and beautiful lake. Around 1 km in diameter and 50meters deep. Take a dip to refresh your soul and experience Pandin the way everyone should.
Be the first to ReplySimple and limited activity
They pull the raft by ropes straightforward to the opposite site, park for lunch and show you the way to Yambo lake by a few minutes walk, only to take pictures.
Swimming is only allowed with life jackets in Pandin lake, and you can swing in the ropes with attached tires. The greatest part is the escape from the heat and dip in the lake to cool off. Other than that, this is not adventurous, but a nice scenery.
Unfortunately for many activities in the Philippines they are ruined by too many rules.
Peaceful place for a weekend
Travelling to the Pandin Lake is challenge for us since it's a new place to discover. It was a long travel from our place but it was worthwhile. The Pandin Lake was quiet when we visited since it was not the peak season of tourist. We were attended by the locals who informed about the tour package and activities. Tourists could swim however, provided with life vest.
Experience 4/5
The main attraction at the Padin Lake is the "balsa ride" where people ride the balsa made of bamboo to go to the other side of the lake. The balsa was provided with a small shed where table and chairs is available to eat the meal ordered. Food included were shrimp okoy, grilled tilapia, ensaladang paco (must try, great one!), and rice. For an extra charge we ordered grilled liempo (PhP 40.00) and buko juice (PhP 25.00). Eating would be done by good old hand-style, which is pretty decent and appropriate with the place.
Food 5/5
Pandin Lake
We live only about an hour from this place, it wasn't hard to find, there are many parking place for your car. From there, you can choose to walk, or take a motorcycle/tricycle, it costs 50 pesos per head, also, they call it "Habal-habal". With P400, you get an hour to swim and eat. They serve their own food, the downside is you can't choose what you want but the food's great, I personally like the one called "Pako" and you have to wait for a number of passenger for the boat to leave.

Get ready to hike through a rough trail for about 20min to reach the lake. At the lake shore are waiting sheds where you book for your lake tour. You have the option to include native lunch at a package rate of about 10 USD per person. Tour takes about 2hours. Its nature at it's best. Even the food served is sourced from the lake.
