The restaurant is nothing as the name may suggest or one would assume. It is a sophisticated French Restaurant / Bistro in Manhattan.
A formal attire is not compulsory, but one should be smartly dressed (no casual); being hungry is required.
Delicately made appetizers, entrees, delicious main courses and an impressive collection of wines, cocktails and other liquors.
We had salmon with peppercorns, grilled oysters, Cajun shrimps as appetizers and hanger steak, scallops and roasted chicken thereafter (there were six of us). I don’t remember the French names of the dishes, but the taste lingered. The menu is limited but the quality and the finesse in plating is captivating.
These are the difficult times, one needs to wait till the earlier normalcy returns or the “new normal” takes over.
I am sure the food, ambience and experience will be as good as in the past.
