Great location
We came to NYC for Spring Break. This hotel was in a great location in midtown. 5 minute walk to Time Square and Central Park. The staff was very accommodating and rooms were very nice. Having complimentary breakfast and bottle waters everyday was a bonus. We enjoyed having the rooftop bar and Rickey’s right in the lobby.

Had never stayed here before, but I will stay here every time I come back. As a theater fan, it was an amazing location to walk to the Gershwin Theater, the Lunt Fontanne, and the Vivian Beaumont at Lincoln Center. But besides that, the staff was incredible. So friendly and so helpful with anything. The Italian restaurant on site, Serafina, was excellent. All around an amazing stay, the salt water fish tank also helped because I love fish tanks. The room was very cozy and the water pressure and temperature was great. GREAT hotel for a solo traveler but I also talked to people at the bar who were there with family and they loved it as well
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Service & Clean Hotel
We were extremely impressed how the team and especially Franklin assisted us. He was very professional and went the extra mile for us to make sure we were not only taken care off, but also to make our stay a memorable one. We unfortunately had a bad experience a few moments earlier with another hotel from another branch, which made us change our plans and that is how we ended up in the "Dream" Hotel, which ended up being for the best since we will defenitely be staying here in the future because of Franklin and the team. The hotel is also very clean and well kept.
Be the first to ReplyMy first choice from now on!
There are simply no words to describe how perfect our stay at the Dream Midtown was this past weekend. The location is perfect, an easy walk to Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center; the included continental breakfast was great! The food at Serafina, on location, was outstanding, but over 100 options within a few short blocks. Plenty of parking options, but recommend you leave your vehicle for the entire stay. The rooftop terrace was magnificent, two other swanky-cool bars on site too. I’ve stayed in dozens of hotels in NYC for business and pleasure, and this will be my first choice going forward. The staff was excellent; they helped out in all aspects, and always were friendly and cordial. We aren’t hyper demanding travelers; if you’re looking for an unpaid butler service then definitely pay 5x for the Plaza, etc. but if you’re looking for a great place to enjoy your room, the service, and the city, this is your hotel!
Be the first to ReplyEXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!
As a person who travels for a living; I can write this review having stayed in hundreds of hotels and also work in the guest service industry… First, the hotel is beautiful and immaculate. Second, the customer service is top notch, went above and beyond to accommodate our every need including our pets. Lastly, the location is perfect for getting around; great eateries, short walk to Central Park, lots to do anytime of day or night. Our first stay at The Dream, frequent NYC visitors (I’m a Jersey girl) and will be our go-to for our future trips for both business and pleasure .
Be the first to ReplyA lovely experience! Will want to return in the near future!
The room was beautiful! The queen bed was amazingly soft, and we loved the back drop of the bed. The intriguing fashion of the bowl lamp added quite nicely to the ambiance. The view of 8th Avenue was amazing! You look it the window of this bustling city and just made you feel comforted. The champagne provided was great also. When we went to the Rooftop for the restaurant, we were stunned at the amazing aesthetic of the view and design. The food and drinks were amazing.
Be the first to ReplyGood option to stay in NYC.
I have stayed at DREAM Midtown twice in two different types of rooms, and I have two different experiences to talk about. My first visit of the hotel was during summer last year, and me and my partner booked a Standard Room. That room was designed basic, but pretty. The biggest problem for me was its size, because we felt like it was catastrophically small for both of us. It was even hard to fit 2 pieces of luggage there. The other thing I personally did not like was just a little amount of natural daylight in the room. Otherwise, there was no other issues with the room. All the furniture looked good, the King Bed was comfortable, plus, I liked its design a lot. The refrigerator was big and could fit a lot of food and drinks. The bathroom in the room looked very nice and remodeled. Unfortunately, it was tiny. Otherwise, the shower stall was pretty big. The bathroom amenities were of a good quality. In January this year I traveled to NYC by myself and got a Premium Room at the same DREAM. This room (#909) was designed almost the same way similar to my previous Standard Room. But its obvious plus was its larger size. I would not say it was a lot bigger than the Standard Room, but I could definitely feel the extra space and I felt mostly comfortable in this room. Also, luckily this room had bigger amounts of daylight and it was mostly bright there during the day. One more plus, both times my rooms (and also the entire hotel) were ideally clean. Also, when I called and asked for something (like new towels or more shower gel) I got everything fairly fast including at night. Housekeeping did a very good job. Front desk staff were always friendly to me. By the way, I would like to say a “BIG THANKS” to Paulina for taking great care of me. She is very professional and super nice! And she helped make my second stay at DREAM nearly perfect. The hotel’s lobby looks good and stylish (I really loved the big aquarium there). Hotel’s Wi-Fi always worked nice and fast. The only one hotel’s minus for me was the outdated small and kind of slow elevators. I wish they switched them for new modern ones. At the end of my review, I would like to point out the hotel’s nice location, which is very close to Central Park, and also walkable to Times Square. The area has a lot of shops and restaurants around and it’s very convenient. Finalizing my review, I would like to recommend the hotel to visitors especially if you want to be in the heart of Manhattan close to Central Park or Times Square. And my tip is if you travel alone, stay in a Standard Room, its size is enough for 1 person. But if 2 of you or more are going to stay at DREAM, please, 100% go for a bigger room, like a Premium Room I stayed at. Because its extra spacing is going to make staying more comfortable for multiple people. P.S.: with this review I have included photos of my Premium Room (#909).
Be the first to ReplyUnbelievable staff and great accommodations. Thank you Juan
If you’re going to NYC don’t hesitate to stay at this hotel. They did not disappoint! I booked a one night stay on Saturday December 17, 2022. I was very excited because I was proposing the following day in Central Park. My Fiancé, her daughter, and I were greeted in such a friendly way by all staff. However, there was one person who really made a positive impact on our weekend. So much so that I asked him to write his name down on my bag check ticket. His name is Juan Moya. It was evident that this man has a passion for what he does. He may not have known at the time, but I was a nervous wreck. The simple but meaningful conversation with Juan allowed me to just relax and chill. He was giving us good tips and was just a generally nice guy wanting to make sure our stay was pleasant. On Sunday, we checked our bags again and when we got back from the proposal I couldn't wait to tell Juan why we were rally there and show him the ring. He was genuinely happy and wished us luck as we begin our future together. Juan made a lasting impression on the three of us and quite honestly will be the sole reason we book at Dream Midtown if we return to NYC. Thank you for your time and please make sure Juan is recognized for simply being a good person.
Be the first to ReplyDream was a dream
Dream Midtown was perfect for our stay. It was modern, clean and a beautiful room. We had amazing service from every person on staff from the front desk, to Kathryn in EVS to the kind gentlemen who took my trash. Their breakfast service was fast and fresh. I would stay here again! Thanks Dream!
Be the first to ReplyGood Experience. Will return.
We liked the hotel. It was quiet, comfortable and had good amenities., and the location was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was sparely decorated but large for NYC and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was exceptionally large for a hotel in NYC. The only suggestions would be to have lamps on the bedside tables ( we had to ask for those) so you can read ( the lighting is extremely dim), and better lighting in the bathroom for those of us who need to apply makeup. Other than that, no complaints
