I've been here with large parties for several special occasions and they've always been incredibly kind. The menu has so many delicious options to try and the decor is great. The building itself looks like some kind of classic mansion, and then there's a really fun outdoor atrium that makes you feel like you're eating in some kind of whimsical garden. The drinks are also very good, including the fresh squeezed juices. Considering the portions, the prices are very affordable (I usually get two meals out of each entree). This place is a real hidden gem.

Dear El Caserio,My father knew your founder when the restaurant was located near Downtown. I was a little kid, but I remember her being so kind and humble, a sweet human being who made the most amazing food! Throughout the years we continued to follow wherever the restaurant moved to. I believe the restaurant continued to be owned by the son and wife, but I am not sure. This amazing restaurant was part of our lives...baptisms, birthdays, marriage celebrations. It was one of the only ways to continue to enjoy the food of beautiful Ecuador apart from my father's cooking. It was a piece of home. A year ago my father died from Covid. Today I drove by and the new sign is up for another restaurant. I cried. It is the end of an era for my family...I have begun to cook our beautiful Ecuadorian food...a beginner. The traditions must live on. Gracias, El Caserio, for every moment, song, meal, drink, and kindness. You will be missed. We are sad to see you gone, but we are filled with gratitude for all you gave to your patrons. Your legacy will live on in our hearts. Viva Ecuador!

The music was GREAT! Had us dancing in our seats. The dish I got was delicious. My mom had a similar dish but she said hers lacked flavor. I had the steak with the potatoes and peanut sauce. Hers didn't have the potatoes or sauce. To begin the meal they give you some warm bread with butter and a red tomato salsa. DELICIOUS!!! That salsa is so spicy but you can't but eat some more. Overall the vibe was great I only give it 4 stars because my mom wasn't happy with her dish and it was really hard to communicate with the waitress. I will be coming again.

El caserío RestaurantYesterday, my friends and I were very disappointed because of some issues that we want to denounce:1. This restaurant does not offer regular water but Pelegrino or other similar water at $ 8 bottle. I understand, there is an obligation imposed by the liquor act that restaurants which have a liquor license are obliged to provide patrons with free tap water.2. This restaurant doesn't explain at the beginning that there is a 3.5 % charge when you pay with credit card. So, at the end when you find out that surcharge they say: "that is our policy". So, you have to pay with cash or PayPal if you don't want to be charged an additional 3.5 % of the total. 3. We felt that we were swindled with no explanation from their employees. We used to go to this restaurant, but with these tricks I don't think that we will be back. We were just 4 couples who wanted to have a good time, but everything was ruined with "its policy with no explanation". 4. Be careful and please pay attention when you get the bill, check on everything.

I ate here 2 months and I'm still thinking about how yummy the food was- delicious! And the vibe is so lovely inside. Great date night spot! Felt like I'd been whisked away to Havana or something. Highly recommend and honestly, can't wait to go back!

Inflation must be real because any entree here is a minimum of $20. Btw you also have to pay for bottled water. It is $1 but if you go in with a party of four that is $4 assuming one only drinks one bottle. Apparently the owner doesn't want to pay for water or washing the water dishes. $5 for a can of Soda is absurd. Sorry but the food and ambiance is not worth this money. Last time I am here.

They have valet parking but it's 10. ambience/atmosphere : BeautifulCustomer Service: The customer service was not good. The waitress was not warm nor very friendly. I felt like we kept bugging her for basic request (such as basic ). It is not worth the price. If you're going to charge $25 for some pasta, at least have great customer service.Food: I ordered the Primavera pasta and it was very good. The portions are reasonable. The best part of the experience was the food. They also have very good drinks. I had the passion fruit drink.

Ambiance transports you to South América. Menu is a mix of Ecuadorian and Italian. Caldo de Camarón was rich, creamy and delicious. The Ceviche de Mar was pure joy. Salmóne Bellísimo an excellent euro style fish. Staff was friendly. Top notch service.
