Wonderful stay. Great vibe.
From Check in To Check out the entire experience was great. Check in was wonderful, complementary glass of wine! Valet was very quick. Room was comfy, modern, well appointed this was almost a 4 star review. Rooms facing the interior / courtyard must suffer special events Front desk did warn me, but said the event would end at 10. OK. No worries. HOWEVER, the music played until 12. I mentioned this at checkout, the clerk said literally "oh, it went until later I bet’ it seems the hotel knows it happens

Best "sense of arrival" I have seen in many years...very ably led by DANIELLE with the best "welcome to our hotel" -- professional in every way, accommodating, friendly, responsive to our requests each day of our 6 day stay. Best front desk team I have seen in many years of global travel. (Thank you, CHRISTINE, DERRICK and others!)

I would give it 10 stars if I could, excellent experience. The staff is top notch and go above and beyond to make you feel like a valued guest. The hotel itself if GORGEOUS, everything is perfect and no detail was missed. I can't recommend it highly enough, we loved it!!

Really enjoyed our short stay at the Epicurean. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food and wines available in the restaurant and rooftop bar were very good. You are also offered a glass on wine upon check-in which was a nice touch. I would certainly stay again. One note is to avoid the terrace rooms where the glass doors in your room go directly onto a public terrace .

The hotel is beautiful with a good location. The concept of the hotel is all about food and beverages which you can experience throughout the menus and venues they have and the quality of the food but it gets so busy that the service did lack in my experience in some occasions.

I’ve become a recent patron of the Epicurean hotel. Each and every time I am overwhelmed with the hospitality from the front desk, valet, housekeeping and F&B staff. I would like to give special mention to Danielle at the front desk. I had called earlier in the evening stating I would be arriving after midnight from the East Coast. Danielle assured me that it would be a seamless check in and it most definitely was! I was greeted by Jennifer with the same professionalism and bright smile! Can’t wait to return!

The location was great for us, but I would give the hotel 3.5 stars, based on the rates, coupled with the lack of sophistication they furnished. While the staff was kind enough, they weren't very helpful or knowledgeable about the surrounding area. We dined at their restaurant/bar three times, during our stay, and the food was average. It is nice that they have a wine store inside the hotel, though we did not purchase anything from it. The management inundates you with all of their trendy books/mugs/paraphernalia that they have, for sale in the lobby, so it feels forced. It was okay, but not a memorable stay. The construction noise was pretty irritating as well.

It is a lovely hotel. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was welcoming and clean. Bed was very comfortable. All positive. Breakfast was excellent and delicious and wait staff professional also. Friends who have stayed here also have positive things to say. I will seek an Autograph next time I travel.

Service was excellent, what you would want from an upscale boutique hotel. Rooms were also very well appointed, but the "terrace" room, being communal is not worth booking. One negative, the beds need to be checked by management more often...we had a king and it needed to be replaced with a new mattress, also the sheets do not fit the king bed. Food, to be expected, was very good..new dinner menu and chef was excellent and perfect for the Fall season. Breakfast, obviously, has a different chef...not up to par with dinner and happy hour.

The hotel is located in south Tampa where new restaurants and shops are growing - very cool vibe. Also, its a 10 min walk to the bay. From check-in to check out, the whole experience was excellent. The rooms are nicely sized, clean and very comfortable. The food and beverages at Elevage (on site restaurant) were very good! The members of the Epicurean team were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

I am so disheartened and disappointed by the lack of humanity shown by Epicurean Hotel and their staff. I booked a girls’ spa weekend for my best friend and I, which we were so excited for. The day of my reservation, I was blindsided by a phone call that my grandma was unexpectedly admitted to hospice and I needed to come say my goodbyes. I left right away, and my boyfriend immediately called Epicurean on my behalf to cancel and seek a refund so that I could book again at a later date. We knew that under usual circumstances a refund wouldn’t be granted, but we’d hoped that Epicurean would empathize with the pain I was experiencing and show some compassion. They told my boyfriend they would escalate the case and a refund would be issued within 5-10 days. We waited and waited for the refund, only to have to call again multiple times and find out that they (internally) decided to not grant the refund and never passed the information along to us. We are not people who take regular vacations. My friend and I budgeted and saved for several months to have this experience, and I do not know when the opportunity will arise for us again. I would not recommend doing business with a corporation that puts profits over people, like this one.

Classy, upscale great location. The vibe is fun, foodie and wine, and the location is close to a number of interetsing restaurants. It is also close to Bayshore, which made it perfect for a long run to burn off all the calories. The gym is clean, pool decent. I liked the onaite restaurant and thr rooftop bar is good for a nightcap. I commend the front desk staff, particulalry Michelle who was friendly, informative (for both a dinner suggestion and running route) and professional.

Such a pleasant stay. Starting with the front desk we were blessed to arrive when Anastasia was working the front desk. She was so helpful so that my whole family felt comfortable and welcomed. My daughter was able to check in when I sent my id picture. We arrived after midnight so ordered a couple of pizzas and were able to eat at the lobby table with wine. The rooms are absolutely perfect. I love the modern bathroom. We will always stay here when we return to Tampa. To Marriott leadership please promote Anastasia she is the type of person that you want in a leadership position. I wish more people had her customer service skills. Thank you

Don’t even think about it — just book it! The property is absolutely astounding — first class all the way. Upon arrival you are greeting by a hard working valet and front desk staff. Check in was a breeze and we received a complimentary glass of wine as a welcome amenity. We stayed in Room 360 that has a nice view of the courtyard. We had a while until our dinner reservation so we ordered the charcuterie board as an in-room snack. We were promised a wait time of approximately 20 minutes. However, after waiting an hour I called down to check on the status. The hotel had experienced a brief power outage which led to our order getting lost in the system. The dining team made it right and gave us our order complimentary — big surprise there!! Our room was clean, comfy, and well appointed. We were extremely pleased and will surely be back!

Epicurean Hotel is a smaller hotel in a gentrified area near many interesting restaurants and across from the famous Bern's Steakhouse. Although I didn't take advantage of the ammenities in the lobby area, there are places to eat and have drinks and an ice cream shop steps away from the lobby. The room has upscale linen and pillows and a mattress that felt like it could be memory foam. It is easy to keep the thermostat below 70 if you like a cool room like I do. Housekeeping did a great job and the valet service was excellent with young polite gentlemen running to get cars quickly and very appreciative of tips. I will stay here again as I like the location and the boutique feeling of this property.

I have stayed at The Epicurean Hotel several times. If you are in South Tampa, this is the best hotel option. It is directly across from Bern's Steakhouse and within an easy of many restaurants on South Howard. The rooms are large and modern and the gym has all of the basics. One of my favorite things to do is go for a run through the quaint neighborhood and then on to Bayshore Boulevard, along the bay.

After an unexpected airline cancelation, we needed one night in Tampa. We chose this property because we are a Marriott company. Wow! It is so funky cool and Kate and Morgan at the front desk felt like family! We explored the Hyde Park area and had an unexpected and amazing dinner at Bern's! I say, " Go ahead and cancel that flight" if we can have a night like this!

Amazing experience! A company I work with had a conference here and it was a magical experience. The staff is awesome, especially “Kate the Great” , who took wonderful care of us ( my wife and I) and had deep knowledge of food, art, the hotel, and the area. Pedro and Reggie also made sure everything was perfect for my wife and I and our company. Obviously the food at the hotel and the surrounding area is incredible, but it was really the deep care and knowledge of the staff that made this a five star experience .

Our stay was amazing for our girls trip. Morgan and Michelle were so awesome. Now a days you just don’t receive great customer service but theirs was outstanding. You won the lottery with these two. We were always greeted with a smiles. Thank you sweet Sugars.

This hotel is just wonderful. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is good. The location is right across from Bern’s steak house. The pool is a nice addition too. We really like this place and will continue to go back and enjoy the hotel.
