I'm be been to the NYC and Montréal locations and found this one to be right on par with what I expect from a wonderful meal. After all, they're certainly charging for it. The fish is obviously fresh and flavorful and you frankly cannot go wrong. The stacked eggplant, cheese and dip are always my go to and the sides were simply delicious. Service was an A+ and decent space from table to table which is appreciated.

After seeing Phantom of the Opera for the first time, we decided to end the night with a nice dinner at Estiatorio Milos. This lovely Mediterranean restaurant serves some of the freshest seafood I have ever seen, worth the ability to go pick out your seafood from the market. They start you off with a complimentary breadbasket with olive oil and fresh oregano, and it was a very fresh and nice way to start the meal. We tried the big eye tuna, sashimi style, which came with 4 small pieces of tuna. This was supposed to be my brothers entree, which was just not enough food for him. I enjoyed the cuddle fish with squid ink risotto, but again the portion size was a little small in my opinion to be an entree. My dad ordered the lobster pasta, which was done and presented beautifully. There was definitely enough food for this entree, and I wish the rest of them came out the same size. At the end of the meal, they generously brought out a dessert of Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts, that was surprisingly the star of the show. It was so creamy, and the honey gave it a lovely sweetness and flavor. We really enjoyed our time here at Estiatorio Milos!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious verrrrrrrrrry delicious .
Great services and ambiance . Looking forward to visit again and eat their delicious salad and grilled fish
Be the first to ReplyThis is a restaurant which takes its seafood very seriously.
While there are some non-seafood dishes on the menu, you need to come in the mood for fish and probably the whole fish as well to truly enjoy it. For me the star was the Milos special--a tower of courgette and aubergine with cheese. I could just eat that for dinner and be happy. The salmon was totally fine and service excellent.
Be the first to ReplyThe tuna and rib eye were unavailable (party for four).
We had a mix of plates to start (Greek salad, dips, etc.). I simply cannot believe they charge so much for a large Greek salad - it wasn't that large, but they really are taking the P*** with these prices. Wanted a salt baked fish - but that was a 50 minute wait!!!So the table shared a grilled snapper. Nice, obviously we have to watch out for the bones. So, in summary:1. Location is high end.2. Prices totally ridiculous - but I suppose they do it because they can - the place was full on a Monday night.3. Check they haven't run out of what you would have wanted.4. Quality of food good - I still can't get over the price of a few tomatoes, onion and bell peppers......
Be the first to ReplyHuge fan of my local Milos location in NYC.
I came here when visiting London for dinner. The restaurant is located in a beautiful historical building in a very central location of the city. My group of 3 each ordered some fresh fish, just grilled and seasoned lightly with salt and lemon on the side. We ordered my favorite sides - the Greek salad and Greek spreads (the taramasalata is always delicious), which came with a lot of extra pita upon request. My one complaint is that the restaurant's vibes aren't as nice as they are on the outside. It's extremely dimly lit, and the tables feel too close together. Service was just alright.Like the Milos in NYC, prepare to spend a lot for very simple dishes.
Be the first to ReplyHad lunch at Milos Estiatorio yesterday.
...Ambiance is beautiful.Service was a bit brusque initially, but things got better as our meal progressed.Food is good but they didn't offer the prix-fix yesterday so be forewarned the 4 dollar signs are no joke:1. Lavraki was delicious!2. Grilled vegetables with balsamic was delicious!3. Filet mignon was microscopic and accompanying fries were a bit soggy. Definitely don't spent 50 pounds on this dish.4. Steamed broccoli and cauliflower were good with a lemony touch.5. Mixed mezze appetizer (I think that's what it was called) was not good and especially not worth 27 pounds. We barely ate this.6. Complimentary bread is amazing.Overall I like this location of Milos much better than the NYC location. We'll definitely return.

Amazing Mediterranean fish restaurant, with all kinds of fish you won't find elsewhere. Grilled octopus is a required appetizer (best ever). Expensive. Must go

We've eaten at Milos in Manhattan many times, and in Montreal. It's always been special. We also did a lunch at London's Milos around a year ago, and it was exceptional. Last night we went for dinner. Ordered the Mediterranean seabass, and a Greek salad to share for a starter. Then two sides, french fries and mixed green vegetables to have with the fish. The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful : with cathedral high ceilings, elegant decor and a sophisticated trendy feel. Our waiter, in response to the question, seabass or sea bream, described the seabass as the more flaky, moist, and milder one.And that determined our choice. No mention of the size, we did say we would share. The Greek salad was just fine, not particularly flavorful. The cheese seemed a bit off. At least the waiter assured us that the small size would be adequate for us to share. No one offered us any black pepper which is usually a given, so my husband requested that. The fish arrived, looked gorgeous, a huge portion. Really too much for even two people. My husband and I started to eat, after squeezing a little lemon and adding olive oil, both of us quickly acknowledging the fish had no taste or flavor. So we added more, then asked for salt, which we added along with more lemon and more olive oil. And did this a few more times trying to amp up the flavor. To no avail. We should have just sent it back. Maybe the fish was just simply too big to be tasty. While eating, we did mention to our waiter that the fish was very disappointing. The response was, after all, it is a mild fish as we had been told. But mild does not equal boring! I have made Seabass at home, many times, filleted it and it's been so much tastier than this was!! We ordered a dessert, which was delicious and a coffee. The bill came, and the price of the seabass was 98 pounds, astronomical , a price we have never paid anywhere for fish! Absolutely off the charts ridiculous. And you would think after complaining about the tastelessness of it, that they might have offered a complimentary dessert...... Not classy!

I've visited the location in NYC and really enjoyed, so I expected high quality, good tasting food. And that's exactly what I got! Evvverrythjng I had was delicious and not heavy to eat. I started with the Mediterranean Ceviche, which was beyond delicious! The sea bass chunks and all the citrus really hit the right note together. I then had grilled fish, Greek salad, stuffed calamari, a mock tail (Cupid's Lover) and a scoop of strawberry sorbet. If you're in search of very high quality, delicious Greek food, Milos does not disappoint. The only qualm I had is that many of the servers were not knowledgeable about menu items or were not always attentive. The restaurant has an upscale, date night / professional dinner vibe. I highly recommend!

Enjoyed the three course prix fixe menu of ceviche, lamb chops, and walnut cake. As I had the meal just as Milos was opening I didn't observe how the restaurant operated with a full house. Nevertheless, the staff was very attentive and answered all of my questions. The food was good and for a prix fixe menu, also nice value. Not sure if I would return to the price point without that, but it seems like a nice place to have a meal.

This restaurant has beautiful decor and fabulous seafood display. Unfortunately the service and food was far from fabulous. The bartenders were not friendly and acted as if we were doing them a favor by ordering a drink from them. The server who answered our questions about the menu was rude and arrogant - treating his customers as if they were idiots. We were extremely disappointed in Milos to say the least.

I had walked passed this restaurant multiple times and the seafood on ice and the atmosphere looked so inviting. Sadly when my wife and I went in for a drink and an appetizer last night to see if we wanted to dine there tonight we were so very disappointed. The only thing worse than the cocktails that we had was the apathy and rudeness of the staff. I have dined and had cocktails all over the world and have never had a worse experience. The only thing they did right was to say thank you as we were leaving...a classic case of far "too little too late".
