Listen: If Fahrenheit was on the ground floor of a building, they would either A. Get their act together or B. close. Every single aspect of my visit to this place was mid, at best. I went on a the Saturday before St. Paddy's day and the restaurant was "busy." We ordered two sour beers at 9.00 a pop. Those beers took over 20 minutes to come and they were in a can!!! Now, I'm far from bougie but a least pour my canned beer into a damn glass! The bread and oil took even longer but it was truly the highlight of our dining experience. We ordered the cauliflower, 18 dollars of pure, unadulterated, I could've made this myself and it would've tasted better-ness. We also ordered the ceviche. Which cost 38 American dollars, it came out on a big plate full of ice with a light under it. Then four small plates with some kind of nasty coleslaw-esque thing that was supposed to have lobster in it. 1 with a few pieces of baby shrimp and I can't even tell you what was in the other plate. And the chips? Well, I've had better chips from the deli section at the back of Food Lion. My husband had the lobster Mac and cheese and I had the braised ribs with lo mein... Both underwhelming, flavorless and overpriced. We spent almost 200.00 on this mess and I'm sure we would've had a better dinner date at the Harris Teeter buffet station.

Food was average , but way overpriced as well as the drinks Will not return. The main attraction is the view. Service was lagging terribly
Be the first to ReplyWent here for a few cocktails after dinner.
It was packed, but the views were definitely phenomenal. I was disappointed that we never did make it in for dinner. Unfortunately, no reservations were available the weekend we were there. If you're looking for a cool spot to enjoy an awesome cocktail and amazing views, this is definitely it...however, I would recommend a weeknight instead of the weekend since it does get extremely busy and loud.
Be the first to ReplyMade reservation and seated in 10min.
Bread was amazing. Food and drinks were average for price point.

We were going to a show at the Spectrum Center, and just needed a place to grab a little something before going in. So..... We headed to Fahrenheit just to sit at the bar and have a drink and some appetizers. The location is good, but the view is the selling point. In many cases, a restaurant would not even bother to put forth any effort after that. People will come for the views.... But, here they did not. The food we had was absolutely stellar! Delicious....... And the service was as grand as the food and the views. Shannon knows how to make the customer feel welcome..... Thank you.
Be the first to ReplyJust based of the menu food seemed to be very overpriced.
Based of of service this place is a hard NO for us. Arrived at 7pm asked for a table for two(seeing at least 15 tables open. Told we could wait or sit at the bar. We choose the bar(only 6 other ppl at the bar) ordered two drinks and started looking at the menu. Decided what to order and then NOTHING. Four people behind the bar and not a single one ask if we were ready to order. Settled the tab and left. More than willing to drop $150 but not willing to be ignored. Told hostess why we were leaving and all she said was good night.

Seen this place in a couple recommendation so I decided to give it a try. Because of the view, and they only open at night and brunch on Sunday, and seatings are limited. you have to reserve online Once you get off the elevator at the top floor, you can already see the charlotte skyline through all the glass windows. Food are ok, the lobster mac and cheese that I see other people have looks mid. Braised short ribs are very popular and is very good. Meat is very tender and well marinated. You just have to pick the popular items that they have consistent quality control and not from daily special. Overprice drink menu are terrible. Better stick with regular drink like old fashioned instead of their special cocktail. Place is loud as hell too, can't hear anything. Focus is the city skylight and food and drink maybe just secondary And parking, you can valet or park on the city lot next to the hotel. Or you can take the train and walk a couple of blocks.
Be the first to ReplyFahrenheit did not live up to my expectations.
Our table of 4 was between two large parties. The room became uncomfortably loud. The view is nice, but it wasn't as high as I thought it was going to be. The food was good, but not spectacular. My salmon dinner the week before at a small restaurant in Salisbury was far superior. The prices are high. I wouldn't have minded if the quality was better. If we go back we will go to the bar only and sit outside. I think the experience will be better.
Be the first to ReplyWent here for Brunch with my family.
The menu was a bit skimpy with the selection but everything was made quickly and the service was great. This was my first time here and I wasn't expecting for the ambiance to be as dark. There wasn't an option to dine on the roof top due to inclement (either too hot or possibly calling for thunderstorm) weather. But we were able to walk around outside after to enjoy the view of Downtown Charlotte!

Be the first to ReplyThis was one of the absolute worst restaurant experiences
This was one of the absolute worst restaurant experiences of my life.We reserved outdoor seating, not only to be told upon arrival that it was not available (advance notice would have been appreciated), but were seated directly in front of a WALL, with no skyline view whatsoever. We requested another table from which we could see outside, to be told all of the other empty tables with a view were reserved. This turned out not to be true, as, after an additional 15 minute wait, we were seated right where we requested to be, after watching another group who came in after us be seated before us.Now comes the fun part. Our waitress informs us that pizzas-which are about 1/3 of the food menu-were not available tonight. After ordering food and drinks, our waitress came back to tell us one of the drink items we ordered was not available either. After bringing our drinks (again, one being a secondary option and both arriving after some time), she then asks us to remind her what we ordered to eat. This was roughly 30 minutes after we ordered in the first place, leading me to believe the order was never put in to begin with. The food itself was remarkable in the sense that it was remarkably salty. All of it - appetizers and entrees alike. The portions were also terribly inconsistent. While I had a very full plate of salty fried lobster (didn't realize it would be fried either), my partner had a small portion of fish with literally three pieces of asparagus and a sad excuse for "avocado salsa" - more like a tablespoon of green paste. It took nearly two hours for all of this, for the record.I will NEVER be back here and STRONGLY advise against dining here. Come up for the view and eat somewhere else. I would not have paid $50 for this experience and feel the $200 for two drinks, two entrees, and an appetizer for the experience we had is ridiculously pathetic.

Very nice view but other than that it's mostly and overpriced halfway decent restaurant... I'f you're looking for a great view , definitely recommend it but If you're looking for good food I would suggest elsewhere
Be the first to ReplyThis was my first time and I was not disappointed.
The service was superb as well as the meal. For me it is a special occasion type of place, but I'm old school. I'm a senior citizen and my fixed income cannot afford Fahrenheit on any other basis but special occasions. I do recommend it to everyone. You owe yourself this special treatment at least once in your life.
Be the first to ReplyOh where to begin.
... we wanted to have a nice evening out by going to this rooftop restaurant. This place is trying to be a "hot" spot, but it misses the mark on every level from the vibe, service and the food. We valet our car, but had a gut check as we entered into the restaurant with some people upset because the valet was under staffed and unorganized. They could find peoples keys or cars. That ended up happening to us and we were outside walking in the rain to help find our car. Once we were inside dinning the ambulance just felt tired, the food was mediocre and our waiter just seemed to be annoyed. I can only attribute this to poor overall management of this business. I hope Hyatt corporate reads these reviews because there needs to be some oversight at this location.

Super nice and romantic! The appetizers were pretty good, and the scenery was beautiful. The nachos are stacked up on the bowl so high, the bowl was filled with shrimp tempura, and their crab cakes are crunchy and moist! Everything tasted amazing, will surely be back.

I enjoyed my bone in rib-eye with crab fried rice will definitely return

We dined in tonight for our anniversary and everything was perfect, from the food to the atmosphere and I'm the service was phenomenal. If I'm not mistaken Britney was our server with the dark hair and tattoo on her right arm. She made our night perfect, she had great food recommendations and was a pro at what she does with her energy and great energy! Thank you See the amazing food pics
Be the first to ReplyThis place was the biggest let down and definitely not
This place was the biggest let down and definitely not worth the price, I travel a lot and eat at a lot of cool places I was excited to try this spot however to my surprise the service was trash and the employees were rude. The best part about this location is the view. The bill I signed and my credit card statement does not equal the same amount.
Be the first to ReplyThis place was delicious and had amazing views! We arrived
This place was delicious and had amazing views! We arrived right around 4pm and sat at the bar. We were served by quite a few different bartenders but Marcus was by far the best one we met. He was very personable, asked us why we came in, and even gave us a complementary toast since we were celebrating a life event! We ordered two drinks - stop and smell the rose and the canal street. Both were delicious but stop and smell the rose was my favorite. It was a perfectly balanced sweet drink. He encouraged us to stay for dinner so we did. The restaurant wasn't able to seat us outside as there the rooftop wasn't being serviced and they weren't able to seat us indoors in the dining area either. But Marcus made sure we were served at the bar. We ordered the shrimp tempura for an appetizer. It came with three sauces and they were all great. I definitely recommend. For our entrees, we ordered the soy glazed salmon, Chilean sea bass with a lobster tail, and Brussel sprouts to share. The food was absolutely amazing. The salmon even came with wasabi infused mashed potatoes. And it did not disappoint. I would order these dishes a thousand times over.
