Got Felice as I was staying at Gild Hall, and this food is really legit. Had a lovely branzino with potatoes, tomatoes and lemon, plus a great pesto gnocchi. They definitely showcase some fresh ingredients and they're technically well done. Also, fresh grapefruit juice for breakfast! I had a good time there, and am so glad we were able to check it out before we left NY.
Be the first to ReplyFood was fine but not for the price.
Tired look about the place and sorry this review won't help. Seated in an uncomfortable booth that was too deep to reach the table. Lunch for two ends up just less than 100. Not worth it.

This restaurant was attached to my hotel which was super nice and convenient. No wait when I went for dinner and breakfast and food came out fast. Servers are nice and checked in frequently. It is a bit pricey. Came with bread and olive oil which I liked. As for the food: -Papardelle con Salsiccia was excellent. The Papardelle was thinner than I'm used to but somehow that made the dish really good. Great flavor and amount. -Crostone con Avocado (aka Avocado Toast) was good. I wouldn't say it's above or beyond an avocado toast I could make at home except for the poached eggs cause I don't know how to poach eggs at home. Bread was hard too. -Cavolini (Crispy Brussels sprouts) were bad. Wayyyyyy too salty. I could not finish these and then had a whole internal conflict cause I didn't want to waste my $14 and mama taught me not to waste food. -Cheesecake was delicious! I wish it was bigger!

Food was excellent especially the steak and the lasagna plus quinoa salad and the desserts. Brussels sprouts and calamari were not that tasty and little overcooked and too much seasoning. Service was excellent but your staff need to learn and improve on communication issue especially with deaf customers by using paper and pen and use of text app on phone. The hostess was very welcoming and friendly toward both of us. Felt that the restaurant manager was not being attentive enough to both of us but to me. Need to treat everyone same no matter what and where they came from. I wasn't happy with how this person chose to ignore my guest that I bring along to have dinner with me but focus on me only. He need to treat both of us same way equally. Need to get rid of racism and ignorance especially in NYC which is a world class city that have full of immigrants and all type of visitors from all over the world. Thank you so much for the opportunity and positive experience. I had to give 3 of 5 stars due to some hiccups on quality of service and communication issue and food quality.

Good Italian restarant in the heart of NYC Financial District. Our server Bonifacio was amazing and the meal was delicious. It's a great location for a quiet lunch or dinner with family and friends or for a business lunch. Recommended

The Good: The place is clean, the ambiance is nice, the staff are nice, friendly & attentive. The happy hour calamari is quite good & a great value. The Bad: There are SERIOUS quality control issues with the food. I was a guest at the hotel so I went several times. For the breakfast, the French toast was cooked so long it was inedible & burnt. The other breakfast offerings were acceptable though. The food is safe & clean, but is not cooked or flavored well. For dinner, I had 2 pastas, the Tonnarelli Cacio E Pepe & the Papparadelle with sausage that were some of the most recommended and it was EXTREMELY clear the chef is not tasting what they're cooking. Both dishes were EXTREMELY over salted to an INSANE degree. I had a forkful , thought maybe I just had a bad bite and that the salt hadn't been stirred in right. But no, both dishes were extremely over salted. They did remake the dish upon request, BUT the remade dishes were just so salty AGAIN. But at least this time ONE of the dishes was very salty, but still within an edible range. I drank 8 glasses of water within 30 minutes to deal with it though. The other dish was not edible still, so very salty. And I'm not a difficult client. This was the FIRST time I have sent dishes back, EVER in my life. The other people with me also agreed everything was EXTREMELY over salted and they had tasted the REDONE dishes. I think these mistakes occurred bec the dish ingredients feature cheeses & sausages that are ALREADY salted , so adding more salt on top of that is a MASSIVE overkill. PLEASE start tasting the food, sauces as you make it. The restaurant wasn't busy at the times I went so there isn't really an excuse for this lack of quality control. Also as for the decor, the exposed bulbs on the wall, behind the diner's head, they look cool but are very unsafe. My sister brushed her hand against an exposed bulb for a millisecond as she took off her jacket and it burned her hand, blistering the skin. If they want bulbs at that level, they should be lower temp. The bulbs are malfunctioning or are inappropriate for that location, they are turning black from the extreme heat they get too.

Ambiance is elegant and yet comfortable.

I came here for a business lunch recently and quite enjoyed the meal! We had a lot of delicious bites, including the burrata, cacio e pepe, and vodka pastas. Meatballs were also a hit along with the pesto gnocchi. Really enjoyed the meal overall and would recommend!

As someone who lives in the neighborhood, I hate to leave a bad review of a local restaurant but I was very disappointed with how they handled a situation. I was meeting some friends for dinner who were staying at the Gild Hotel. They were in town celebrating their daughter's 5th bday. We had a reservation for dinner with both our families, including 2 young girls and 2 babies. My son got restless and would cry, I was trying very hard to soothe him, quiet him down, and if he couldn't be soothed, I would take him out to the lobby of the hotel until he settled down. I came back to our table to get his jacket and my drink and before I could go back out to the lobby, literally within a minute, a staff member comes up to our table and tells us that people are complaining about my son making too much noise. I'm not sure what more she wanted me to do. Essentially, I felt like she was shaming me and my son for being there and asking us to leave. We are paying customers as well and we also ordered a lot of drinks and food. I've never had this experience before at other restaurants. Before I had children, I know I was annoyed by crying babies or kids too but the difference is I never complained about them to the establishment because any time you go anywhere whether it's on a plane or in a restaurant, other people have a right to be in that space too. It's been months since this incident but I'm still upset about what happened and think about it from time to time. The other thing that gets to me is that there was another table with a large group of patrons, talking and laughing extremely loudly. No complaints about them all night but for a baby crying, someone get the manager asap. I would go as far as to call this an ANTI-KID establishment, got the message loud and clear, my family and I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I got delivery and got the cauliflower dish and the pasta with sausage and mushroom. The portions are good. I would say that everything is quite a bit saltier than I would like. Otherwise, the packaging is quite good, though both dishes are quite greasy and leaks through the paper containers.

Didn't expect the place to fill up on a Monday but it did, and the staff cleared the bar area for us and took our luggage out of the way! The bread is good and they have their own olive oil which is delicious to dip in. I got the pappardelle which was light, fresh, and flavorful pasta. My mom got the gnocchi which was also light but flavorful and my dad got the lasagna which he liked. The tiramisu was good but expensive: $15 for one small square. I think the portions were a little small because I was still hungry after the meal.

I haven't been back here in a while but I had a lovely lunch with very tasty wines my pesto with string beans was really good just missing some pinenuts would've made it perfect. My friend had the Bronzino which was tasty and the appetizer Burrata with prosciutto a standard but delicious.

Don't miss the lemon cake!! Appreciate the way the manager took care of me!

I enjoyed a lovely breakfast, the service was good and I enjoyed the window view. To the person who said the desk was rude, I interacted with the front desk at the hotel and they were great Junior and Angel. The hostess at the was very pleasant also, I look forward to returning for dinner.

So rude. Food was just OK... Don't recommend.
Be the first to ReplyEnjoyed a business dinner at Felice 15 Gold on a week day
Enjoyed a business dinner at Felice 15 Gold on a week day evening. They sat our group of seven in a lovely booth that could be curtained off for privacy. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was nice -- not too loud and good vibes for both business and pleasure. The only minor nit I had was that it was extremely dimly lit, especially in our booth. I could barely see the menu, much less read it.We enjoyed a few appetizers to share -- my favorites were the calamari and the smoke burrata (from the specials menu). For my entree, I had the pappardelle which had a good pasta texture and robust sauce with Italian sausage and mushrooms. However, I didn't love the flavor the endives added to the sauce. Others at the table got the seafood risotto special, cacio e pepe, lasagna, carbonara, and ravioli -- overall, we were pleased with our food!Food:1. Complimentary bread and olive oil (3/5)2. Polpettine (4.5/5)3. Carciofi e Calamari Fritti (5/5)4. Arancini (4/5)5. Chef's selection of charcuterie (4/5)6. Special app - Smoked Burrata with prosciutto (5/5)7. Pappardelle con Salsiccia (3.5/5)
Be the first to ReplyI went to this restaurant as a spontaneous dinner date.
The food was impeccable. I loved the eggplant parm for appetizers and the cacio e pepe for the main. The vibes were absolutely amazing -- super elegant so definitely dress up! The manager gave a slight jab (some off handed comment on how much we can afford based on our choice of water) so that was definitely a minus. Will I be going here in the future? Probably. But, there are a bunch more restaurants to check out in the city who treat people a bit better as well.

I came here for dinner on a Monday night and was able to try their happy hour as well. The food and drinks were just ok, with the highlight being the fried artichokes and calamari. I wish their happy hour menu was more extensive and that they added more salt to their pasta. Our server was also not very attentive. Even after we were served our food by someone else she did not come to ask if we needed any condiments or anything else. This is what we ordered:Happy hour:- red and white wine- 7/10 - if you told me it was a cheaper wine I would've agreed- artichoke and calamari: not bad, well breaded and the sauce was goodDinner:- bolognese and Papparadelle: 6/10 I couldn't tell if the pasta was fresh, and the sauce just needed more salt
Be the first to ReplyWonderful fresh food and delightful atmosphere.
Great when you are in this part of the city. Veal meatballs were wonderful. Easy reservations and spacious seating. A must visit for old school fresh Italian!!
Be the first to ReplyReally enjoyed this quaint restaurant.
We went here as a group for dinner and ordered quite literally half the menu. The cocktails were all delicious, started with bruschetta, ricotta toast, veal meatballs, shrimp on arugula salad, rice balls and eggplant parmigiana. Every app was delish but the ricotta toast with fig, honey and almonds was absolutely addicting. We then moved onto entrees, tried the basil pesto gnocchi, ravioli, Cacio e Pepe and all were delish and a good size portion. Also had the hazelnut mousse cake as well the tiramisu. Both were amazing. This place is a bit pricey but service, ambiance and food were all great.
Be the first to ReplyWe just stumble upon this place and we do not regret.
We started with a polpettine (5/5) highly recommended, was truly amazing! But it was a little pricy $16 for just 2 pieces. Then we ordered our entrees Spaghetti Alla Carbonara (4/5) and Rigatoni al Salmone (4/5). To finish our meal we ended it with a tiramisu (3/5), this I wasn't too much of a fan but my friend enjoyed it so that's why it's a 3/5. Ambiance: 5/5Food: 4.5/5Price: 3.5/5Service: 5/5

Stopped here to dine in the other night, and ordered food right at the bar (you can also sit at the high top island table without a reservation). Very cute restaurant inside- felt very cozy, which is hard to find in FiDi. Ordered the burrata and the gnocchi; I was NOT a fan of the burrata at all. The burrata cheese is served with kale, carrots, and sunflower seeds; I just did not find the texture or the combination of flavors appealing at all. The handmade gnocchi is served with wild mushroom ragu, black truffle, and cheese; the gnocchi itself did not taste any different from store-bought gnocchi but I did like the taste of the mushroom sauce. The service at the bar was great, I found the bartender to be sociable and welcoming. Probably would not return here unless it was just for a drink and good conversation.
Be the first to ReplyHad takeout here twice and dined indoors once.
The soup here is my favorite! Salmon salad here is good but smaller in portion. Calamari and meatball here are decent appetizer choices. But it's the wine selection and vibes indoors that makes this place wonderful. The restaurant is much bigger than it looks from the outside.
