Forum Seafood Village Restaurant Singapore Reviews from The Last Year
Be careful of priced
Awful, pushy, aggressive and obnoxious. We were persuaded to have the Singapore Chilli Crab and at 298 SD per kilo were a little reluctant. They then told us the crab was 1.9 kilos but hey the noodles were free. While I accept that crab is expensive why would I want to pay over £330 for crab with noodles in a not particularly elegant or upmarket restaurant. Please be careful. Once we declined the deal the aggressive lady ignored us and moved on to her next victims. W
Rip Off
Absolutely appalling, fortunately we had been warned by a local taxi driver to be really careful when ordering food (and especially crab) at any of the restaurants along the Boat Quay. The pushy, entitled lady in charge of taking orders tried to sell one crab between the two of us that would have cost £240. She started by quoting the cost per kilo, which was nowhere near what the total cost would have been. We did have two drinks and when I came to pay, the waiter asked to take my card away to the till, obviously I did not fall for that old trick either.
Steer Clear
Absolute thieves. What we ordered was correctly itemised on the bill but unfortunately I didn’t realise until too late that the prices charged were pure fiction on some of the food items. A plate of breaded ribs were billed at $56/£33. Double the menu price and they did the same with a plate of noodles. $36/ £22. It was clear we wanted one portion only of each and that is what we received. In addition to these prices there is an automatic 10% service charge added plus a government 8% tax. Was the food good? No. Mediocre at best. We only stopped for two beers/coke each and snacks. Four adults, one child and a total bill of £150.
Awful awful awful

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
