Always the best Vacation spot, now a perfect reception spot too!
We chose 4 seasons for our reception and it was perfect! Christina Andrews is phenomenal! Dream wedding for sure! We are still waiting for photos back since it was this weekend, but she made our wedding feel like a million dollars and look like it too! She did everything in her power to make it special from day one and did so for 9 months straight. The amount of effort she gives every couple is truly unbelievably great! Shes with you every step of the way and she makes sure to accomplish every request! Literally she said yes to everything or found a way to make it happen! The price might have been a bit more than other places on the island but it is worth every penny! If you want a dream wedding, this is the spot to have it! Our stay at the four seasons was amazing too! I also have to shout out Mr. Smiles! He will schedule a slot with you to take evening photos on your phone! We have used him every time we have been there and continue to plan to do so! Christina even arranged for him to help take photos at Feraros! It was a dream come true! I think our best candid photos came from him! Highly recommend! Also make sure to go to Spago! Its always great!

What a gorgeous resort ! I have never experienced this level of service and excellence in a resort! Absolutely lived up to its Four Seasons Reputation! Everything seems as though they have anticipated our every need and potential needs. I was blessed to come along on a business trip with my husband and boy i am glad i came! Absolutely stunning views of course from all angles it seems. Great experience from the room, food, pools and staff!
Be the first to ReplyFive Star Luxury, Consistent, Always Impeccable, Absolutely Stunning!
My wife, daughter & I just returned from a magical 4 night stay at The Four Seasons in Maui!! Almira at the front desk was welcoming, lovely and helpful throughout our stay! Deanna at the Lobby Lounge was amazing. The resort, the property, the pools and the beach were pristine and beautiful!! The friendliest and most helpful employee was Doug at the beach who worked tirelessly to set up lounge chairs and umbrellas in the hot sun and was the most helpful!! Owen from Minnesota served us poolside and was lovely, funny, affable and couldn't have been NICER!! I also want to give a shout out to Chris @ Sugar Shack and one of the BEST waiters we've ever had, Terry @ DUO our first night was amazing, helpful, friendly and attentive. As you can see by all the employees' names, I have remembered The Four Seasons goes ABOVE and BEYOND to make certain you have a memorable, personal, five-star experience and they hit it out of the park!!
Be the first to ReplyOur First time staying at FS Maui and won't be our last!
After my hubby & spent our 20th Anniversary there last week, we are determined to stay at more Four Seasons hotels and we'll definitely be back to FS Maui! What a picturesque experience that resort was. From being welcomed by leis at an open-air lobby with the tropical breezes coming through and that breathtaking view of the Pacific, to being led up to the Club Level Concierge for check-in. We seriously felt like royalty. Our room was phenomenal. A very spacious and beautifully-appointed oceanview room with a fantastic terrace – which we spent so many relaxing moments enjoying. In the evening, the hotel lights up all the tiki torches and it was so beautiful to sit on our balcony overlooking those. The food, the facility, amenities, and the resort staff were all over-the-top amazing. Location is great too...nice walking path along the oceanside and within walking distance to a nice little shopping mall too.
Be the first to ReplyAverage stay with a terrible view of the ocean
We arrived at the hotel and was not greeted at all. We started to pull our luggage up through the front area when one of the men working the area saw us. He was flustered and shouted let me get you a lai. he threw it over our heads stressed. It wasn't a great welcome. We got to the front desk and we were excited to check in. On check in the woman gave us our room, a luxury ocean view king suite. This was a big splurge for us, we had saved and was excited to be there. The woman says we have a special, for $700 more a night you can have this room starting tomorrow. Or for 2k more a night you can have this other room tomorrow. It felt embarrassing as we couldn't afford it and it just felt in poor taste. We were taken back and then once in our room there was no amenity waiting for us, as booked with our room. We did get it a couple of hours later but it was one tiny cookie and I took a bite and spit it out. The ocean view from our room was terrible. I will post a pic. We were just looking at the building opposite, if you stuck your head out over the patio fence and turned it right to the side then you could see, but sitting out on the patio you couldn't see the ocean. It wasn't worth the price for the room. The resort itself is tired and the pool area, fountains etc need updating. The service itself wasn't overwhelmingly great. The nicest people in the hotel work at Duo, and we enjoyed our breakfast there, very good friendly service. Treats were supposed to be served at the pool every hour. We only had two treats the 6 days were there. They were tiny like a small sample at Costco. Everything is expensive. I read that the snorkeling gear, body boards and beach toys - bucket s and spades were included. it wasn't, so had to pay $85 for snorkel and body board for 24hr rental and bought bucket and spade from the store. Except for the cabanas which were difficult to get, nothing is included as we thought it would be. People start to claim the cabanas at 6AM. It added stress to sitting by the pool during the day. Our stay here didn't meet expectations and I can't see us going back there.
Be the first to ReplyFS Maui - fantastic family resort
The FS Maui is definitely an amazing resort for a family vacation. We just came back after spending a lovely week there and I truly can’t wait to go back. Maui, the people, and culture are just so amazing. Truly a pleasure to have been to that wonderful island. However, I have to say, that our experience was only made that much better because of the FS hotel and the staff. The concierge went above and beyond in helping us book a wonderful itinerary and dinners. The more you travel, the more you realize not all hotels and their concierge teams are made the same. FS takes the cake! The pool staff were great and so were everyone else who worked there. Always greeting you with a kind, warm smile. However, there is one small complaint. We were there during one of the busiest seasons of the year- spring break- and there were just not enough pool side chairs or even by the ocean. We had to be up at 630am to make sure we could secure a place to sit. Otherwise good luck! They really need to figure out a better layout so more chairs can fit and people don’t have to wake up at the crack of dawn in their vacation to have a seat to relax. And some places by the pool look like they are overdue for a face lift. I have a feeling one is coming. Anyway, can’t wait to go back! It was a vacation to remember!
Be the first to ReplyExceptional Resort, Amazing Staff, Exceedingly Well Managed and a Wonderful Family Vacation
The Four Seasons Maui at Wailea is an exceptional, and extremely well managed resort. Our stay exceeded all our expectations. Yes, we were there during Spring Break, but even though the property had high occupancy (including over 300 children), it did not feel like it was overly crowded or noisy. When we arrived, we were offered a room upgrade to an oceanfront prime double queen (at an additional nightly cost) which I gladly accepted. The overall room and amenities were wonderful and the view of the pool area and ocean was spectacular and well worth the additional expense. While the overall resort is extremely well appointed, and thoughtfully laid out with every possible service and amenity carefully considered and provided, what truly separates the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea from other world class resorts is the amazing service provided by each of the staff who were dedicated to making every aspect of our stay exceptional. Everyone at the Four Seasons recognized us and either knew or tried to learn each of our names, which made our stay even more personal and genuine. I want to recognize the Four Seasons staff for their tireless work to make each guest’s experience a memorable one. The front desk check-in, check-out and upgrade process took less than 2 minutes. The Concierge helped plan and schedule our offsite dinners (Monkeypod, Ekolu Kitchen and Mama’s Fish House), an outstanding van and helicopter tour of Hana, a terrific snorkeling trip to Molokini Crater, and a wonderful Luau at the Grand Wailea. The pool and beach attendants provided amazing service and took the time to get to know us. I got to know most of them every morning at 6:00am while trying to secure an unreserved sanctuary or prime pool cabana. They always made sure we were well taken care of and had enough towels, water, drinks, and food. The resort food was always very well prepared and delivered promptly (even though the resort was exceedingly busy). Every morning, the chefs and servers prepared and delivered our meals to a consistently high standard. Yes, the food and drinks are expensive, but you get what you pay for as everything was thoughtfully prepared and very high quality. The bartenders at Ferraro’s, Duo, and the infinity pool area were engaging, friendly, and made excellent cocktail and wine recommendations. They were even willing to try to reproduce a drink I had at Mama’s Fish House (Pau Maui). The room service staff were wonderful and delivered our food promptly (even quickly replacing a steak that had been over-cooked). The housekeeping staff quietly and unobtrusively went about their work and somehow managed to keep our room clean, neat, and organized every day. The ever-thoughtful car valets and bell staff who had our suitcases delivered and picked-up on-time and consistently had our car ready to go within minutes (along with towels and cold water. The gift shop staff were thoughtful and recommended several toys and activities for our kids. The roving beach/pool snack staff who brought us treats every day (pineapple, ice cream, mochi, ginger lemonade (to name a few). Those who staffed the Sugar Shack and made those amazing and enormous milkshake/donut/ice cream treats. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, those who run the complimentary Kid's Club every day who were so incredibly accommodating and patient in taking such good care of our kids (and 25 other children). I don’t know how they manage it on a day-to-day basis, but their creativity and positive attitude were infectious with the children. We had a hard time convincing my 7-year-old to join us at the pool and beach because he was having such a good time with all the daily activities that he could attend or simply check-in on at his leisure (on-property excursions, cooking, Legos, coloring, basketball, swimming, and afternoon movies before pick-up). The three-hour sunset crab catching on the beach (and dinner) was a big hit with the kids ($100 extra but well worth the expense). The Kid’s Club and excursions allowed us to have a break from our kids and some well needed “adult time” which allowed us to go to the adult-only infinity pool for a late afternoon swim and an early diner at Ferraro’s. My only two suggestions are the following: First, the room and pool area power/technology could be a bit better. The room outlets did not fit multiple rapid (and wider) USB-C chargers which are necessary when a family has up to eight devices to be charged. At the three pool/unreserved cabana areas there are no power or no charging stations (they may exist in some of the pricier cabanas that can be reserved for over $1,000/day). I know that many would say why look at your phone or iPad at the pool/beach when you are on vacation, but when you pay Four Seasons rates and spend your whole day at the pool having your phone/iPad is helpful when you or your kids need some down time and a break from the sun. Perhaps charging stations could be discreetly placed and managed in the attendant areas with adequate power for rapid device charging. Our devices drained quickly due to poor cellular service and insufficient Wi-Fi coverage. It’s also a long way back for some guests to return to their rooms to charge their phone. Second, there could have been more clothing storage space in our room. Since we had four people (two adults and two kids) sharing a double queen prime ocean room, the existing built-in drawers were too shallow and did not provide enough storage space for four people. There was certainly enough space on one wall (by the adjoining room door) for an additional 4 drawer dresser (which the staff could not provide when requested). Instead, we had the kid’s suitcases open for 8 days which made things a bit messier. Again, perhaps a nit-pick, but for over $2,500 a night, there should be sufficient storage if the room is permitted to accommodate up to four people. While these were certainly minor inconveniences (and did not detract from our stay or experience), the Four Seasons prides itself on thinking of every detail and I hope these suggestions would be carefully considered by management to improve the overall guest experience. Our kids affectionately called the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea "our hotel away from home" because they felt so relaxed, comfortable, and well taken care of during our stay. They were both sad to the point of tears when we had to say our goodbyes. This of course meant that the vacation and overall experience was truly an exceptional one for us all. The overall property, location and amenities will always be beautiful and high quality, but what makes the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea truly shine are the wonderful and dedicated employees who not only made us feel welcome but made every aspect of our stay so memorable. Five stars for every category. Thanks to everyone for making our family vacation so special. We look forward to seeing you all again soon. Mahalo.
Be the first to ReplyGreat spot for anyone looking for beach front luxury!
I took a short trip to Maui to recharge for a few days. It was glorious to stay at the Four Seasons. The lobby smells amazing (like all Four Seasons hotels) when you walk in, and the beach in front of the hotel is lovely. I would literally camp out there for most to day. The pool areas are water front, but not that many lounges have direct ocean views so I preferred to just sit on the beach. The pools were lovely and had food service so that was great - the adult pool does fill up though and so go early if you want a lounge there. The gym was great as were the restaurants on sight. There's a few miles of beach front boardwalk that I enjoyed running on. And of course, since they filmed White Lotus there, it was fun to watch the series on the flight over! I would say it's a great spot even if you're traveling alone (and I am looking forward to returning with my family some day soon!)
Be the first to ReplyPerfection!
From pre-arrival to checkout, the Four Seasons at Wailea was truly spectacular. Each staff member was so hospitable and kind. I wanted to arrange the most for our first time visiting Maui and Akemi and Yuki, two of their concierge team members, were so accommodating with every request prior to checking in. We had an early flight and our room was not ready yet. They stored our luggage for us and recommended breakfast at Duo. It was fantastic and much needed after a long day of traveling. The hotel grounds are immaculate and truly breathtaking. We upgraded our room and were so happy we did. We stayed in the Ocean View Prime Suite and it was perfect for our family of four. We had two bathrooms, a dining area, separate bedroom and two balconies. Our views were amazing and it was so nice having space to relax outside early in the morning or after a busy day. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job. The sofa bed was made up every night and put away every morning so we could fully enjoy the whole suite during our stay. I loved that they had soap dispensers in the bathrooms. I know it's miniscule but a definite step up from the typical bars of soap. The whole resort was immaculate in terms of cleanliness and comfort. I was a little worried about the pool chair availability since we visited during spring break but we were able to find chairs every day of our stay. The pool and beach staff were very attentive. Unfortunately, due to weather, our outrigger canoe and scooter snorkel were cancelled. However, we were able to snorkel off shore during our trip and one of the guides from the outrigger canoe went out of his way to come up to us to show us the better spots to go. It was very much appreciated. They have quite a few dining options onsite. We ate at Duo for breakfast. The buffet is exquisite offering almost anything you would think of but if you're not as hungry the menu has a wide variety of choices. We enjoyed both options. We also did in room dining twice (once for breakfast and once for dinner) and both were terrific. We did appetizers in the lounge one night and they have live music which was nice. Ferraro's was a little disappointing for dinner but the sunset views could not have been better. The service was great but the food wasn't to our liking. We think there are better options on the island for dinner. The beach cafe is so cute and our daughters enjoyed gelato daily. It was nice to have something closer to the beach to grab a snack or drink if needed too. We cannot wait to come back and will recommend FS Wailea to everyone.

Had a wonderful recharge of the spirit at this amazing property. Staff were very friendly & warm. Love the pools, live music in the lounge, fantastic artist displays in the lower lobby. The food was spectacular, & there were many options for kids and adults alike.

While we usually vacation in the Caribbean (staying in 5-star hotels), we wanted to check out Hawaii this year, so this was a first visit to Maui and the Four Seasons. We were thrilled to be in such a nice location on a beautiful property and with amazing staff. Everything about our stay was perfect. We had no problem getting chairs at any of the pools (though did rent an oceanside sanctuary one day - well worth it!) It was busy but never felt overwhelming as it's a big property. So many of the staff members went out of their way with requests and we especially enjoyed the pool and lobby bar staff who were very accommodating. We'll be back!

Absolutely love staying here! The Four Seasons Wailea is amazing! From arrival to your departure, every need or detail is not overlooked! The entire team are so attentive, and kind. Be the first to ReplyMaui Four Seasons is great every year
The Four Seasons Maui is fantastic every year. The property is beautiful and the staff is amazing. The beach and pool settings are beautiful and fun, and the amenities are excellent as well. The three restaurants are second to none, and there is no reason to ever leave the property. The whale viewing in the ocean off the beach is amazing and the chance to go outrigger canoeing is really cool. This the premier property on Maui for our family and our favorite island. We cannot wait to return.

This hotel has the best staff from top to bottom of any hotel we have stayed at. We have stayed at many other Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Peninsula, Mandarin type hotels around the world and no one can match the staff here at Wailea. The facilities are impeccable, rooms are spacious, restaurants and bars are awesome and the staff is incredible. The Serenity Pool for adults only, is a very pleasant way to spend the day. The amenities at the hotel are endless.

Every employee greets you every day with a smile with either Aloha or Good Morning. Food is wonderful in the hotel, love the Dim Sum on weekends. Rooms and views can't be beat. Process for getting seats at the pools are fair and employees make sure no one cheats and steals your chairs. The outrigger is always fun with great insights by the young guys who take you out. Valet attendants work hard and deliver your car efficiently with water and towels. Front desk mailed birthday cards for me and always had change for tips. Housekeeping always did a thorough cleaning and organized our messy stuff every day. Cooks who did our omelettes every day were outstanding and remembered our orders. Waiters for breakfast were all very friendly and pleasant. Massesues used just the right amount of pressure and addressed any issues. Outstanding service!

Of all the places we visit, this resort is our favorite of all time! Friendly and accommodating staff from the valets as you arrive to the housekeeping staff before turning in for the night and everyone in between, the Four Seasons will not disappoint! We have stayed on the Club Floor for over 15 years and the service is consistent every year. They have become our family when away from home.
Be the first to ReplyOutstanding…..You Get What You Pay For (and I mean that in a good way)
This was our 3rd trip to Maui. Each time we visited, the price of the rooms at the Four Seasons were way higher than the other Wailea resorts, and it scared me away. Through Kristen Nix Travel, we were able to get discounted room rates, as well as free breakfast each morning, and a $100 resort credit. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by every staff member. The valet parking attendants were always there to open up the door when you pulled up. When you walked through the lobby, there was an employee smiling and greeting you whether you were coming you back for the day or welcoming you to the resort if you were checking in. After we checked in, we had a staff member walk us around and show us where the elevators were located as well as the layout of the lobby and lower lobby areas. We had breakfast every morning at the Buffet. The First morning, the hostess asked if we had ever eaten the Buffet before, and of course we had not. She took us around. It showed us all the various stations, and where the food was located. This was By far the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever eaten. Omelettes, pancakes, and waffles were all made to order as you stood in front of the chef. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are nice, and there’s an added bonus, each bathroom ass on speaker and five radio channels in which you can play. Each room has its own iPad which allows you to order room, service, request, cleaning, or request your car from valet. The room service we ordered was always delivered quickly hot and fresh. The valet car requests were extremely fast. I quickly learned this four seasons hotel does not like to say “no” to its guests. I needed a tape measure. I put in a request on the iPad that was in my room. Within five minutes an engineer was knocking on the door and was allowing me to borrow his tape measure. We spent the whole day at the adult pool and paid $1250 to rent a cabana. It is well worth the money. The pool attendant constantly checked on us every 15 minutes. They have staff members who will come by and give you a 20 minute massage in your cabana, which is not free, there is a charge. With the cabana, you get a refrigerator, full of water and soft drinks, and your choice of a bottle of champagne or for alcoholic drinks. You also get your choice of an entrée from the bar menu. The cabana also has a ceiling, fan, a comfortable couch, and a big screen TV. We paid the same amount of money earlier in this week for a cabana at the resort next door, and we felt like the resort next-door ripped us off when we compare the service and extras we got for the same price at the four seasons. Yes, The Four Seasons is probably the most expensive hotel per night on the island of Maui. But trust me, the rooms, the service, and the amenities are worth the extra price. We wanted to extend our trip one more day, but we were not allowed to because an entire company had rented out the hotel for an awards banquet. Katy Perry is going to be performing on the beach later this week to wrap up this award event.

This was my first trip to Maui and the Four Seasons. I stayed for 5 nights with my girlfriend over Valentine's Day week. To say that the Four Seasons and their staff made it a trip of a life time is an understatement. From the moment that we pulled up, we had white glove service. From Dawn, who greeted us with lei's up until our last breakfast with Michael at Duo. Christie, Almira, and Vee were extremely helpful at the front desk, suggesting their favorite things to do on the island. This resort truly made Valentine's Day a dream come true. We had massages at the Hales, that was the most peaceful 60 minutes of my life, and ended the night with a beautiful sunset dinner at Ferraro's- TO DIE FOR. Mike, our bellman, made sure our luggage got to and from our room and I had the pleasure of meeting Auntie Wendy!!! My Favorite drink was the Cucumber Green Martini that Aundria made me. And lastly, a huge praise to housekeeping who had our room SPOTLESS every day- turn down, fresh towels, replaced the coffee daily, and provided me with a holder for all my jewelry. 10/10, am recommending.

As usual, the Four Seasons Maui out did themselves! The reservation dept., check in & out desks, bell captains, rooms, concierges, grounds, restaurants, and especially the STAFF! The entire package is incredible, but the staff stands out above the rest!

My family and I had a great experience at this resort! It is very beautiful and the employees take such good care of you. We especially enjoyed Brittany at the pool and I was surprised by the pool staff with a card and dessert for my birthday. Super sweet. Some downsides were that the pool feels a little tired and could use an update. We also felt the breakfast buffet at Duo to be a little chaotic and super busy. Overall, we had a great time and we will return!

Simply the best, from the start to the end of our vacation. The staff was great , poolside services were great. We had very high hopes that this was really a 5 Star resort and it was for sure. Just the little details , from the ginger mint water when you check in to that fact they have a house car that will take you around Wailea ,the electric bikes to ride around. They did not disappoint, i can not recommend this resort enough . We will be back next year!

Found after booking this is the hotel featured in White Lotus, a TV series I like a lot. But anyway. The hotel is in a great location. Check in was very swift. Our room was a standard room; well appointed, large and quiet. This is a FS so you know what you’ll get: great service, lots of amenities (sun lotion, aloe gel, lemon water, coffee,…and activities) and good value for the (potentially lots of) money paid. It’s a big resort and pretty crowded, but they manage it well - and we got every day our sunbeds and umbrella’s. Staff is very friendly. Nice stores with an excellent assortment. Lovely common grounds. We tried all food outlets; and surprise surprise the food and drinks at the pool were the best by far. Both Ferraro’s and Spago were below expectations; at Ferraro’s we even had to return our pasta’s and Spago - I’ve been at many Wolfgang Pucks outlets and this one was not on par; a pity. Breakfast and lunch at DUO’s were excellent. So, a 5* overall, and a 3.5* for their premium restaurants.

My husband and I just returned from a fabulous week stay at the Four Seasons resort in Maui. This was our 11 th year at the resort. We had missed summer 2020 and summer 2021 due to Covid restrictions. We could easily try new places and vacation elsewhere but we keep coming back to a place we like to call our second home. This place is first class in every way managed by professional and very warm and caring people who work tirelessly everyday to ensure every detail is covered from food quality to room cleanliness. The rooms are magnificent and very spacious equipped with a bathtub and shower.Although there are tons of activities the concierge team can plan for you off site, we choose to stay at the resort for pure relaxation. After going thru 2 plus years of covid pandemic rest and relaxation was all that was needed. The serenity adult pool is our favourite. It is managed by Kevin who ensures everything runs smoothly from beds and cabanas to delicious drinks, lunch and snacks. Thank you to Pono and Max who took such great care of us throughout the day. Rowena has been at the pool for all our trips there. She is a class act that serves ice cream, muffins and pineapple to all the guests at the serenity pool and the family pool. She recognizes me every time we visit and she has become family. Her son Rufy works at Duo for breakfast and it is so nice to see him working so hard. Maria is another gem at the resort. We have known her for 11 years as well and she works at Duo steakhouse at night. I would like to say a word about housekeeping…..in light of the pandemic room cleanliness is a huge factor. Joanna and Yone were amazing! Housekeeping service at the hotel was twice a day in the morning and at night. There are room air sanitizers in every room., fresh personalized refillable water bottles for every guest and a small machine to sanitize tv remote controls or even jewelry. The gym is filled with a weight room and a cardio section as well as 4 peloton bikes. The machines are sanitized before and after the equipment is in use by a guest. All in all do not think…just go! Best place on the entire planet! Thank you to the entire staff at the resort who do an incredible job! You are all very special and we are very grateful for all you do! Can’t wait to go back!
