Amazing view of the city! Food was great definitely an expensive night. I saw some say portions were small but I didn't feel that way at all as the food was so rich I did not finish my plate. The presentation do everything was wonderful
Be the first to ReplyThis is a great spot for cocktails and views of the city.
Upscale and elevated indoor rooftop bar. Go for pre-dinner drinks. I feel like the sunset would be perfect here on a sunny day. Take in London from above here.

Went for a birthday dinner and the service was immaculate! Chef sent out tastings to the table. All 3 courses were amazing. Would definitely return.

High end Michelin star restaurant on the top floor of Hilton hotel. Very professional service, they are literally overstaffed...Outstanding food. Excellent wine list. They brought us post cards that they mailed for us :) to other parts of Europe.
Be the first to ReplyReally nice atmosphere and pretty good food.
Galvin at the windows is on the 28th floor of the Hilton in London. It has a nice view of the city if you get a chance to sit by the windows. They knew we were tourists so even gave us free postcards to write that they would then mail out anywhere in the world for free. For appetizer we got the ravioli which was delicious! Not quite sure what's in it but the whole construction of the dish, including the foam and soup outside of the ravioli, was good. For our main we ordered the pan fried sea bream (fish). The meat was tender and the skin was crispy. Other than that, it didn't necessarily make a lasting impression. It was sitting on a bed of beans and I personally don't like beans so I left that alone. For dessert we got the almond biscuit with berries and clotted cream ice cream. It was pretty good and a well balanced dish in terms of textures!

Beautiful plating and such delicious and exquisite combinations. Amazing! Definitely a place we will return to on a trip back to London! Professional service provided through the entire restaurant by every member of the staff.
Be the first to ReplyHigh scale restaurant.
Menu is mediocre though. Customer service is excellent- one of the best I've had in UK.

Amazing! My sister is a vegan, and the had not only a separate menu, as well as different snacks (such as vegan chocolates!) Marco (our server) was very nice and explained the menu well. He also made great small talk! The courses were great, but the portions were small. I loved everything about it! The course were, a small section to graze, a starter, a main course, a desert, and a small treat at the end. The server was amazing, and so was the service. They were very kind and gave us dessert on the house! Fantastic! The kids all received gift bags with very fun toys! They could color, use an etch-a-sketch, and more! We also received post cards that were mailed for us! When we finished our meal, we received a tour of the kitchen, completed with a look at the balcony! It was so beautiful! Our wonderful server, Marco took photos of our family. They came out amazing! I I love this place!
Be the first to ReplyTL;DR: Mix of Korean and French food worked well.
The food does laps around the remainder of the experience. Would return for food alone, though. If you come here exclusively for the food and have the money to spend, I'm a firm believer that you will enjoy your experience. My "dining partner" and I got the 3 course dinner menu (with green apple & blackcurrant marshmallows that accompany the check, presumably to soften the delayed sticker shock). There was first a complimentary fish fritter with sweet potato puree that suggested the rest of this meal was to be incredible. The kimchi risotto & baked hake with pork belly were each some of the best things I've recently eaten. The pear souffle was a fitting end to an already lovely meal. If you come here for the experience/views and food is an afterthought know that half the views are of a side of London without the skyline and service varied from excellent to not so great.

I had a great experience at Galvin at window with wonderful sunset view over hyde park. I went for their London restaurant festival menu - 3 courses for £35 and a cocktail on arrival. Although the cocktail was a bit too sweet to my liking (the waiter did offer to make a new one for me later in the evening seeing that the glass didn't go down much, which I have to complement on), the food was absolutely spot on. I had octopus starter, white fish main and a pear dessert. I enjoyed them all very much. With a bottle of white, olives, bread and service charge, the bill came to £75 per person - it is a bit of increase from the £35 for 3 courses but I think once in a while is worth it. I do have to say their service was wonderful, u also get a complementary postcard and once u fill it in, the restaurant post it for u! All in all, I was completely sold and will definitely go back again.
Be the first to ReplyLoved our experience here, great view and excellent staff.
We both did the featured taster menu and were pretty happy with it. Although we thought they over did the soy sauce in one too many dishes - would have been nice to have a little less dominating flavor. Still, the staff was kind and helpful, they customized my menu to meet my dietary needs (I'm pregnant, so I couldn't do anything undercooked or raw). The only reason I took off a star is because the tables are setup with one person having their back to the view. I would have liked to both enjoy the backdrop of the city together.
