Not recommended for anyone approaching "senior" age as the hike to the creek was rough to say the least. There is parking for about 20 cars and then they shut down the entrance until someone leaves. It's $9 a car and the hike is all downhill. The first 50% of the trail was well marked until you get to the bottom of the hill, then you have to traverse over massive river rocks and sand. If you are barefooted, not good. Flipflops are not a good choice either. Once you get to the creek, you have to stand on rocks, no beach or area to place your belongings.
The water is very cool (excellent for a 108 degree day in mid-August), and super clear. Most of the people jumping off the cliffs were teenagers and 20 somethings, I think the oldest person I saw was a woman, maybe in her 30's with her small children.
You have to swim over and climb up. the rock face, some places were easier than others, and you can climb to different heights to make the jump more daring. Some of the cliffs were 80 - 100 feet up and the I could not see the bottom of the creek where you jump.
Go early! Pack water shoes!
