Not sure how this restaurant received a Michelin star.
Service was slow, food average not very friendly wait staff!!!
Be the first to ReplyThe owner is quit arrogant.
Do not order the soup noodle. It is like instant noodle with tasteless soup. It does not worth the money and does not lift up to my expectation on Chinese food.
Be the first to ReplyThis place has the best Chinese food I have had in my life.
My husband and I ran across this cute little location by accident and I was so excited to see it was Michelin rated! Typically, I get sick eating greasy Chinese food but this was far from greasy! We got multiple appetizers, a bottle of wine, and the three course duck entree for an incredible price-I think the total was $110 for the two of us. There was nothing I did not like. Italians are incredibly friendly so I can see why some people can think the servers are rude (they were not Italian) however, I think it is a culture difference that may come across cold and rude but they were just very straightforward and short with us. The servers we had know three languages! I have Asian friends and used to the culture differences so I didn't take anything personally.

I came to this place for lunch because it has a Michelin guide recommendation, with a seeing impaired friend and his assistance dog. The restaurant was almost empty with only two seating guests . We waited for more then 7 minutes until anyone showed up. We asked for a table next to the door so that we would nt disturb any future guests. The staff person was extremely rude, refused service even when we explained that we had a assistance dog. In the meantime an extemely rude customer who became impatient to wait for us, pushed my friend aside almost making him fall. , the staff did not bother whatsoever to intervene and went on to seat him. We have been travelling now for 7 weeks across Italy eating out lunch and dinner every day and never had such a bad experience. Horrible Place !

Horrible, rude, and nasty attitude from the older asian lady. I believe she is the owner. She greeted us so rudely, as if we were bothering her. We have never been treated so poorly at any establishment. The food is mediocre and the portions are ridiculously small. Overpriced, subpar quality of food. What a "HUGE" disappointment. I don't know how this restaurant ranked as a Michelin star restaurant. Somebody goofed "BIG TME" on this one. Don't waste your time or money. I do not recommend this restaurant. There are so many terrific restaurants in Rome, I would advise you to look elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyTo always start on the good side, the food was amazing.
All the dishes ordered were very well presented and delicious. To follow on the not so good and very bad side, one of the dishes ordered was a lobster, amazing by the way, the only problem is, the price in the menu is exhibited as per gram I believe, so, 7,50€ per gram, when i was never told how much the lobster weighted and if read on the menu it's hard to understand how exactly they measure it, when I ordered the lobster the waitress asked, and I quote, "would you like it with the rice or vegetable" which gave, nos only me the impression, that it was included with the dish, when it came I didn't even touched the veggies because the lobster, which I didn't get to finish was enough. When ordering the bill, i was hit in the face with a €45 dish, yes, the lobster, and €8,50 from, wait for it, the veggies. Went to talk to the waiter about it and was very nicely slapped in the face with, wait for it again, €2 discount, can you imagine that ! Waited for a few minutes to speak with the manager who the first thing she did was start yelling at me and after repeatedly explaining the situation I got offered €5 euros discount from the bill. Not having the dish that was deceivingly "ordered " but that insulting discount. Let's say our happiness from the amazing dishes was removed and replaced very fast with a feeling of being ripped off and a bitter taste in the mouth, that deplorable attitude and devious way deserved to be rated at minus 1 star.
Be the first to ReplyAfter a few days of eating Italian food, my group was sick
After a few days of eating Italian food, my group was sick of eating pasta and pizza with very little difference in between. We stumbled upon Green T on a walk to the Pantheon or the Spanish Steps or whatever. The ramen sign was what drew us and considering it was a Michelin guide restaurant, we figured we'd take our chances. Worst idea ever. Arriving at around 9, there was a good amount of seats open and our party of 4 was taken to what appeared to be a converted outdoor patio room that was cut off from the rest of the diners. Nice to have privacy. We should have hesitated when we heard the waiters speaking Chinese, but we didn't I ordered ramen and for 15 euros, it is a bit steep, especially when it's not actually listed on their menu and they don't warn you ahead of time. While our expectations weren't high, apparently low expectations were still too high for this place. The food was just atrocious. The ramen broth tasted like egg and my hard boiled egg was cold. Not to mention the noodles were spaghetti, which shouldn't be surprising for Italy, but it was all horrible. Why is this place a Michelin Guide restaurant anyway?!The only good thing was the fact that we got two free desserts to share in our party, although it looked like coconut something rather so I wasn't interested. This place was a waste of money and one of many disappointing meals in Rome.
Be the first to ReplyI was missing some asian food having spent 4 weeks in Italy.
The service and ambience here was good however, the food was average. My favorite were the pork dumplings, everything else was average. Also, I am saying this in comparison to the quality of asian food I have had outside of Italy. This may be your best bet for asian food in Rome.
Be the first to ReplyOk food.
This place charged us for Servizio (10% of the bill). How is this still a thing in Rome?! I noticed afterwards when I looked at the bill. We will not come back ever and will never recommend this place to anyone.
Be the first to ReplyOriginally had reservations for another restaurant, but
Originally had reservations for another restaurant, but after a full day of walking we were just too tired and looked for the closest restaurant to duck into for dinner. We were the first couple to enter the restaurant and service was a little cold and unattentive. We ordered the "ramen special" which was not very good...at all. Ordered a couple green teas as well and was horrified that they charged 13 Euros for a pot of green tea!!!! There was also a 4 Euro service charge, which I'm used to seeing a "pan e cuperto" charge for bread, for 4 Euros for..nothing? This place seemed like a complete sham AND the food was crap. Avoid. There are too many other good places to eat in Rome.
Be the first to ReplyVery delicious food.
Not your traditional US Chinese food but much better. The best curry, fried rice and hot and sour soup. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they didn't really act like they wanted us to eat there and the server was rude at first. We didn't have a reservation and even though we were the only ones in there, they acted like they didn't want to seat us. Our kids are 18,16 and 13 and love Asian food. After we ordered, our service got better. I would not bring small children here as I don't think they would accommodate you. More upscale Chinese. Nonetheless we may go back again as it was truly a wonderful meal.
Be the first to ReplyAwesome food and service.
The flavors are a bit low key for USA spice levels (due to the excessive salt use in America ) but ask for the spice condiments. Overall fantastic get away from the Rome regular menus.
