Hanabi Ramen Fort Worth Reviews from The Last Year
Quick and nice service.
I ordered the Tokyo Tonkotsu spicy ramen and it was excellent! Big serving size. The spice level was perfect, with great rich flavor. Will be back again!

We ordered edamame, fried squid fingers, takoyaki, black garlic tonkotsu ramen and spicy miso ramen. This place had good ambience and friendly staff. The ramen was okay, the appetizers were also okay, nothing amazing but nothing terrible. Just something that I can eat if I'm hungry. The pork chasu that arrived in our ramen was actually kind of cold and our edamame arrived even after we got our ramen which was odd to me. I would definitely go to other ramen spots in town before choosing to go to this one.
I got black tonkotsu ramen.
The soup was delicious and not too heavy. My eggs were overcooked. The pork was alright. Noodles were alright.

Given the favorable ratings on Yelp, I came with high expectations... Being a frequent traveler to Japan and Los Angeles, Hanabi is very overrated. Their ramens need a lot of improvements.
Mediocre ramen and service.
Ramen was flavorless-- no depth at all, just salty water. As if foreshadowing the rest of the meal, the soy marinated eggs were sad and over cooked. The tsukemen broth was literally just the ramen broth in a smaller bowl; it was watery and did not coat the noodles whatsoever. The sides were also a disappointment. Fried rice was bland and only tasted of butter. Agedashi tofu did not have enough broth. On top of all this, the service was exceedingly lackluster and inattentive, and the restrooms were dirty.
If you merely want to scratch the ramen itch, this place
If you merely want to scratch the ramen itch, this place will somewhat do. They have the noodles and the soup, but for whatever reason the two parts don't go that well together. The soup doesn't quite cling to the noodles and is mostly a salty flavor, with not much depth. We had two of their Tonkotsus, a Kara Miso, and a Kara Miso Tsukemen. The Tsukemen especially didn't meet expectations. The dipping broth was not thick or flavorful enough to be a Tsukemen broth, and was indistinguishable from the broth of the regular Kara Miso. Their agedashi tofu and fried rice sides were extremely underwhelming. Both completely lacking in flavor. Unfortunately, the service was a bit disappointing as well. The servers seem distracted, and while not rude, they just do not really seem to be there for you. The bathrooms were quite filthy and the large center tables were sticky and uncomfortable. All being said this is just my taste preferences and level of comfort with public sanitation. However, I do have a main note for the business. Please check your highchairs. We had a small child with us who needed one and the piece to tighten the buckle strap was broken. When we asked if they had another highchair the waitress said it was the only one and walked away unconcerned. As we left, I saw a stack of highchairs in the corner...
Horrible service.
The entire staff made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable for showing up 55 minutes before close. Just plain rude. Arrogant, disrespectful and racist. F*ck this place. Don't go there. Manager even knew they acted inappropriately. They deserve to go out of business.
I came here on a rainy Friday for some take out.
Let me start by getting the one bad thing out the way; parking is annoying. There are a few spaces for each business then the rest of the tiny lot is a free for all. Thankfully I was able to get a spot when someone pulled out. I called my order in ahead of time. I got the Spicy Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen. The lady said it be 10 min. I got there, found parking and ran in. It was already waiting for me on the table. I believe the same lady I spoke to came to the register to cash me out. She was superrrrr nice and made some small talk. I got home and busted out that bad boy. They had this cool bowl with all the ingredients and then a tall soup container with all the broth. Let me just say, the spicy is not spicy at all in my opinion. I feel like Buffalo sauce is spicer than this. So if you're on the fence about it, go for it. The broth was so rich. It was very comforting. I forgot to add, I believe this is my first time trying real ramen. The pork was super flavorful and had some fat on it but that just gave it character. The noodles taste nothing like Top Ramen you get for 30 cents lol. These were definitely quality noodles. The egg was awesome and didn't just taste like a normal boiled egg. I will say, I wasn't a fan of the mustard leaves but it was just a texture thing for me. Same for the bamboo. I ate it but I'd rather it stir fried. Complete personal preference. I'm 100% coming back here... maybe when it's not so busy so I don't have to fuss with parking.

At Hanabi Ramen, the culinary journey is both nuanced and profound. The deep-fried oyster offers a tantalizing crunch, while the gyoza is a delightful fusion of zest and tradition. The Kara Miso Ramen is symbolic of rich, flavorful depths. As for the beverages, the Cherry Limeade Cocktail punctuates the meal with subtle sophistication. An establishment worthy of wise palates.
