It was important to my fiancé to try an Adria restaurant and as it is impossible to get into Tickets, he made a reservation here. We walked in and were guided to the dining room where all of the chefs stopped everything to greet us. What a cool way to enter!We both ordered the hot and cold margarita which was the best margarita that we've ever had (the classic margarita was also good but go for the hot and cold all the way). One thing I noticed was I sat with my back towards the kitchen and because there were so many wait staff all I heard was the flurry of clicking heels right behind me as people went back and forth the whole dinner. It was a little distracting.Each course was quite good and flavorful, the only one I didn't care for was the sea urchin but that's just a personal preference. The weakest part for me was dessert. When we were done we were escorted to the dessert room. I realize you're then supposed to relax and wind down but the dinner went fairly quickly and each course was brought out timely, so much so that dessert felt very slow. When dessert finally came we were unimpressed. They gave us a pumpkin dish that didn't taste like pumpkin at all. There was a meringue "tart" that was okay and then my fiancé asked for their famous corn ice cream which they were kind enough to bring to us. That was pretty good but had we not had that one, it would've been disappointing. I think dessert needs to be rethought - the room, the service and the dishes. That is the impression you leave people with and it left us feeling let down which is unfortunate since the dinner was quite good.
