Fabulous hotel in Central location
We went to several hotels over three weeks during our trip to the West Coast and this was my favourite room by far and we did stay in really lovely hotels! The room was comfortable, clean, cosy and had every mod con ie USB ports by the bed and had the most fantastic toilet Iโve ever seen in my life when you walked into the bathroom the toilet started cleaning itself before you even sat down and had a heated seat and even a remote control too ๐คช the hotel was in a superb central location, staff were friendly and helpful. Not that we had any reason to speak to them very much and Iโm delighted that we picked this hotel.

Wonderful hotel. Rooms were very comfortable. Shower and toilet were a little confusing (shower fixture and electric toilet). But enjoyed my stay. Lots of places to eat and a block away from the cable car and other transportation. Hotel is in an overall good location but we were cautioned about certain streets. But I felt safe the whole time.
Be the first to ReplyA quiet serene stay on the 20th floor in a corner space.
Our stay starts at arrival with a warm welcome by an attentive doorman and bellman. The bellman hands you a card to pass on to the desk reception and directs you to an escalator up to reception. At reception you are efficiently identified and charged the customary fees up front and within seconds you are on your way to your room and your bags are delivered minutes later. The space was clean, quiet, comfortable with a Zen like experience intended to evoke calmness to your senses. Did I mention clean? There are no odd odors. You have a sitting area, comfortable bed, dual environmental controls, separate shower and tub in the bath, and reusable water bottles with access to filtered water next to the floor's ice machine. There is one annoyance. The bidet "recycles" about 30 seconds after use. In a space you could hear a pin drop it is curious to hear it for the 1st time after returning to bed. Not a biggie. Remember there are no background city noises. Room service. The hallmark of only the finest hotels. An excellent breakfast delivered within the minutes you have requested it is the ultimate start of your day. White linen wrapped toast anyone? On leaving, ask the desk for a bag pickup and the bill preparation and there are no surprises if you pay attention with what you have charged the room on checkout. Every request I made was answered and ended with "Is there anything else you require?" You can spend less and far more for accommodations but not certain it can get any better.
Be the first to ReplyOutstanding stay & outstanding service!!!
Wonderful stay on Imperial floor. Luis in Imperial Lounge at breakfast provided extraordinary service and made each guest feel like family. Room was quiet with glorious view. Beautiful design including a magnificent Japanese type design bathroom with both fabulous shower and a separate tub. Housekeeping was equally top notch as well as concierge. Thank you for a restful stay. Also we liking Durance to SFMOMA and to a range of restaurants. A top notch stay. Canโt wait to return!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat hotel!
This was a great hotel. I had never been to the area and was a little overwhelmed. Every front desk employee helped me in some way that made our trip a success (from sushi recommendations to navigating the public transportation system). I just wish the location was a little closer to fishermanโs wharf. Itโs not walking distance.

Everyone was absolutely wonderful and the hotel is truly beautiful. Ahmed and Michael at the front desk were very delightful and accommodating. I cannot wait until my next visit to San Francisco. I will definitely stay with Hotel Nikko next time I'm visiting.

Overall experience is good. There is staff standby at the main door of the hotel, could be to avoid homeless. Quite secure. Convenient location allow us to travel nearby attraction like Pier 39 and China Town and etc.

Amazing customer service - everyone is super nice. Comfortable beds and pillows. Great amenities - the exercise room has really good equipment and variety. The cucumber and lemon water along with cold towels is a nice touch.

I'd heard a lot about the Nikko brand over the years, and was curious to try it out when our conference was set here. Great location near Union Square with a lot of interesting shopping and dining options around. Cafe Mason, Pinecrest Diner, all in easy walking distance. The food at the hotel was very good with very attentive staff. Buffet had Japanese dishes as to be expected from the brand in addition to the standard breakfast fare. A little pricey, but probably on par given the location and type of hotel. Got a room on an upper floor with a fantastic view of downtown. The conference rooms had amazing views of the city. Rooms were on the medium size, not huge, but not tiny either. No desk, but could still work on the table in the room. Fluffy robes, towels and slippers included. Be careful opening the mini bar, just looking at it will get you a charge on your bill. The hotel seemed to be finding it's footing in the post covid era, with limited lunch options in the hotel (room service only), but not a huge inconvenience. Some areas closed off in the lobby. Very quiet, invisible housekeeping staff, only thin I saw them once in the halls, but everything was clean and very well kept. There were signs that the hotel was dog friendly They apparently had a balcony that you could schedule a playdate with the hotel dog. Neat touch. I would have liked to have met the dog. Staff was great on departure from removing the aforementioned room charge to helping me find my Uber outside the entrance. All in all a good stay.

Awesome hotel & experience! Highly recommended. We took advantage of a special offer that included their breakfast buffet (a bit too pricey if not included). Loved the warm pool + hot jacuzzi. Room was amazing, and staff was fantastic.
Be the first to ReplyGreat hotel for downtown San Francisco
Great hotel for that location. Friendly staff, good cuisine, clean rooms, very nice interior, veggie possibilities, great equipped gym, nice lounge and good bar at the second floor. Definitely a hotel to pick if you are staying at downtown of SFO.
Be the first to ReplyHotel Nikko in SF is top Quality!!!
We return to San Francisco after 6 years and we wanted to get a better experience than the last one in another Hotel (Hyatt) so my son did choose the Niko specially for its architecture, interior design and the Feng Shui elements. At the same time the reviews of tourist around the world that stayed recently at the Nikko helped us to choose this wonderful hotel with great staff (house keeping, front desk, Anzu Restaurant (delicious & nutritive food). Now that we return to South America I totally recommend Hotel Nikko! Should i have to say they are pet friendly too? Thats wonderful!!
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Oasis
A wonderful city get away. I have some health issues, so was not able to go out to the nearby SF attractions, but the hotel alone is like a little resort. The lobby and lounge are beautiful and peaceful, and the location of Feinstein's within the hotel meant I could easily attend evening entertainment by the Alpha Rhythm Kings. My friends enjoyed the gorgeous pool and dining there as well! Very friendly, professional staff, -- exceptionally thoughtful in helping with my health needs.

It was very clean and detail oriented nice service all together. Love all the amenities they have and excellent staff. Canโt say bad thing about them. I would love to stay again. Their bed was so comfortable.
Be the first to ReplyRude front desk
Very rude frontdesk asking his guests for a "definition" of turndown. Kept staring at the guest when the guest could not offer a "definition", without even the smallest attempt to resolve the embarrassment he created to the guests.
Be the first to ReplyBathtub made me relax
I arrived at SFO in the morning on a RED EYE FLIGHT and was able to check-in early, so I could wash away my fatigue and my afternoon work went very well. In the evening I soaked in the bathtub and relaxed. All in all, it was a very good stay and I would like to come back.

Spotless, quiet, elegant hotel with very friendly staff, with a prime location in downtown SF. Feinsteinโs is a great showroom. If youโre driving, finding the entrance to the hotel is a little tricky even with Siri guiding you.
