Terrible restaurant terrible service
We attended this restaurant in the paragon building. It had to be one off the worst experience of my life . Rude service by the woman at the front desk , we got look over for about 10 min , The woman pointed to our table sit here . Very unhelpful as we were visited from overseas . We ordered the duck then asked us we could have 2 side dishes , they never came . We eat our duck payed and left . It was absolutely appalling . Duck was very expensive

Always a pleasure to eat here. The food and service very good, especially the namesake peking duck of course Yes, it’s difficult to make a phone reservation or online, they are always so busy. Suggest you just make a personal visit. I did call them as i’m based overseas

Forever cannot get through via phone 67327838. So no way you can make a phone reservation. I have been calling morning, afternoon and evening but no one picks up. Totally unacceptable.

The place was classy! The duck skin is so crispy and the service is quiet fast. My friends would love this place if i tool them here. Would love to visit again!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing as usual
Superb Chinese restaurant serving Cantonese food, the Peking duck might be the star though the execution of everything on the menu is superb. Love the dimsums, particularly the Har gow, char siew, BBQ pork pastry, shew mie, vegetable spring roll & mushroom dim sum. Also really like the fried rice & effu noodles. The pork dishes are also devine including the ribs. A must visit.
Be the first to ReplyPossibly the best Peking Duck in the world.
Best Peking Duck in the world. Better than many that I have tried in Beijing and Hong Kong. Skin was crispy and the meat done just right, tender and juicy. The balance of the meat was fried into fritters with salt and garlic. It was fantastic.
Be the first to ReplyMust order the Peking Duck!
The best Peking Duck by far. Crispy crackling skin and tender flesh. Note that it must be pre-ordered so do so when you are making seat reservations. The remaining flesh was fried with Mee Pok instead of the usual Ee Fu Noodles and the end result was amazing. Genius. The rest of the dim sum was normal, nothing particularly outstanding, pretty much the same one could get in most dim sum restaurants. Rather appalled with the $2 per plate hae bee hiam chili though. And disappointed that they don't serve congee and steam rice rolls (cheong fun).
Be the first to ReplyA good restaurant turned into a bad restaurant
This place used to be one of the favorite restaurants of my family for many years. We had many family gatherings, hosting friends there with great memory.
Be the first to ReplyGreat! But pricey
Love the duck here but the prices are very steep. Great for date nights or special occasions! Was here for my anniversary celebration and enjoyed thoroughly!

The Chinese restaurant is well located on the 4th floor of Paragon and central. It’s a big restaurant and has very fast service. Quality is also good with a wide variety
Be the first to ReplyImperial Chinese
This michelin starred chinese restaurant is always busy and full, so advanced reservation is a must. And they are full as the food is very good. Today we had beef shank, vegetables, hor fun, chicken. You can tell the quality compared to other restaurants, even those with 2 stars or from fancy 5 star hotels. Good service as well

Looking forward for today dinner 29/01/21 as this is our reunion dinner. Early Jan, I already made an advance order arrangement. However, after I was seated, I was told that my previous order already misplaced/lost.😔😔 and their menu already changed. I have to order other dishes instead. Although during the meal, the male manager tried his best to rectify the whole situation atmosphere, even treat us with dessert(service recovery). We appreciated his helpfulness. But we are still really disappointed with imperial standard. Hope front desk can be more organised. We felt our reunion dinner is a huge screw up.
Be the first to ReplyAttitude of initial server was so appalling. I have never encountered such attitude. Beware.
It was a birthday lunch celebration that was marred initially by the wait staff who served us tea and walnut. She was deliberately loud with her "excussssse me"whenever she was going to pour tea and then she would very loudly drawl on your "thaaaaank you" everytime she poured tea. It seemed as if we had offended her in some way. She was deliberate trying to be "rude"
using the drawl in her tone without being rude verbally but her tone was uncalled for. We saw her at another table and she was speaking normally to the guests at the table. Don't know why she was like that. It was really not the kind of service we had ever encountered in any restaurants that we have been to so it was really shocking. Unfortunately, she did not have a name tag.
It went on for a while before I told her to please stop what she was doing and that it was very annoying. After that, fortunately, another lady attended to us for the rest of the meal and she was very very good. She was attentive and very kind. Kudos to her for the service recovery.
Nonetheless, the Peking duck was excellent, especially the crispy duck skin dipped with sugar. Food here is always good.
Unpleasant experience for service of take away order
This was my 3rd time to order take-away food from this restaurant recently and the collection time confirmed at 6pm on Sunday (yesterday). We went there 10 minutes before 6pm and I was the 1st customer to be served for the collection of food.
What happened later on to me was very disappointing and annoying. We were only able to collect our food at 6:30PM until all the customers behind us in the queue have collected their order. I have been asking different staff to check my order while waiting for the order but apparently they were irresponsible to my request. As a Michelin starred and award winning restaurant, I don't think this kind of service would meet their service standard required. I would not recommend to order take away food from this restaurant as the experience was really unpleasant.
Simple and enjoyable dinner
Second visit. Ordered the grilled cod fish fillet, pan-fried cod fish fillet and the braised E-Fu noodles. All three dishes were good. Came back for the grilled cod fish which was served in the set menu on my first visit. Surprised that the plain looking noodles tasted good. Total spending about SGD60 for a satisfying dinner, not a bad deal.
Compared to the first visit, this time there were fewer diners. The current restrictions really have a great impact on them.
Appetising affair🐤
My long-awaited tryst with authentic Peking duck was satisfying & a wonderful experience. This restaurant is known for roasted duck speciality and they are worth giving a try. Duck never tasted such good in bits and wholesome. I also enjoyed Bai Fan yu and green beans immensely. A must visit to tickle your tastebuds and experience the oriental delights.
Be the first to ReplyGood food with great service!
The reservation for our dinner was made earlier in the day; smooth and fuss-free. We arrived and were led to our table in a side room very quickly in a restaurant full of diners with the usual symphonic chatter of voices, dishes and cutlery. After a short wait, our orders were taken promptly with a recommendation regarding the vegetable dish since we were undecided.
Glad that we enjoyed all that we ordered except for the frog legs cooked two ways. The sauteed diced beef with sliced garlic was tender, flavourful and melted in our mouths. The recommended sauteed lettuce stem with preserved xue cai did not disappoint; the stems were juicy and crunchy, balanced nicely with the pickled vegetable. We order two versions of the deep fried cod fillet, with sauce and the other with superior soy sauce. Preferred the former and felt that it would have been even better if the fillet was pan fried instead.
Regine was delighted that we enjoyed the meal and forwarded our feedback on the frog legs to the chef. We were then pleasantly surprised when she presented the bill without our order of the frog legs!
So glad we had dinner there tonight after a long day and to receive such friendly and responsive service from Regine and the other wait staff. Too few of us to get the Peking Duck tonight so we'll just have to come back.
Good dinner
Last night dinner, ordered SGD 98 set menu. Grilled cod fish fillet and prawn ball were good, but noddles were a letdown, plain and bland. If not, it could turn out to be a very good dinner. Value : 3/5.
Be the first to ReplyBest Peking duck in Singapore
Imperial Treasure has the best Peking duck in Singapore period! It is on par with the best Peking duck in Beijing. We went there to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas. Their dishes are all excellent, with good quality, and not greasy. The service can be slow.
Be the first to ReplyBest Birthday Celebration Choice in Singapore
We are very pleasure that the restaurant provided us an VIP room for the birthday celebration. The waitress named "Gui Ying" served us very well and friendly. We would like to compliment the Manager named Mok Lan as well for the best arrangement and there is a male Manager/VP sang Cantonese version birthday song for us. We enjoyed very much!
The environment is really nice and we have our own privacy but the dining table is too big for us maybe they are following the social distancing policy.
Overall perfect!
Poor customer service by Regine
I was at champagne bar with my friends and I wanted to make my orders, but keep getting ignored by her because apparently she was talking to this fat male customer. Called for her a few times but she keeps saying she's coming up. Seriously, I was in a rush for time. I was angry but regardless I did not flare up or raised my voice.
yes I get it that it was lunchtime and people were busy, but she chit-chat with the customer for WAY TOO LONG. Did the other male customer have more expensive orders or was giving her tips to make her stay? My friends and I totally did not feel like we were respected as customers at all. If we were to come again, she'd better not serve us with her arrogant attitude again.
