From New York! This modern Chinese restaurant is well-known for its xiaolongbao dumplings. I had their signature dish, "Joe's Crabmeat Xiaolongbao" for lunch. ^_^ Not only was it delicious, but the interior of the restaurant is very luxurious.

I live in NY so I get to eat at the real Joe's Shanghai and except for the soup dumplings, nothing is the same. Especially the price. This is Japan and this place is much fancier so I get it, the price must be higher and everyone orders the over the top price fixed.
Service was fine...my problem was with the food.
on the 8500 yen menu, the beef tasted worse than diner pot roast. The rice has the most pepper I have ever seen in a dish...unedible. The shark fin was weirdly done as a cream based soup. The Peking Duck was just the skin, no meat whatsoever and it wasn't crisp. Eel had a sauce that was like glue, hold off on the corn starch chef.
If you must go you can order alacarte...just get a bunch of dumplings.
Never again
