It doesn't make sense to me how restaurants like this have such good reviews and can charge what they do for mediocre food and very poor service for the price point. Would not recommend coming unless you're charging this meal to your company (or someone else's) dimeWhen our server came over to take our drink order, I asked about the notes, funkiness and flavor profile of one of their orange wines -- all he could share was that it was a skin contact wine (which anyone who drinks wine knows?). And said he'd go check with his manager for more in-depth notes. When he came back to take our full order, he pretended like we didn't ask about the wine so we asked again what his manager said and he walked away again. We had to bombard him to get an answer on this and he never even offered a taste of one of the options they serve in a single glass - I've never experienced this type of alcohol service. I recognize this restaurant and most of the "Asian" ones in Brickell are fusion, but have eaten fusion + regular Korean food my whole life. The bibimbap they have here was probably one of the worst I've ever had -- $28 for the vegetarian option and instead of putting ~1 tablespoon of gochujang on the top they put a HUGE spoonful on the bottom of the rice making it overpowering in terms of flavor profile.

Service is horrible rude staff and they will take your drink before you've finished it. Food was fine but wouldn't run back
Be the first to ReplyHad no clue this place existed and I live around the corner.
$1 oysters in brickell are unheard of so naturally I love this place. Great drinks and great happy hour deals as well. Highly recommend
Be the first to ReplyVery nice restaurant staff was great.
The red snapper fish has me in the toilet throwing up, and with diarrhea at 5 a.m., I will never go to this restaurant anymore. No wonder 87% of the place was empty. If you want to have stomach pain, cramping, and vomiting as your body tries to purge the body of the bacterial toxin from the food poisoning, you should go.

Wow. I'm speechless, what an unexpected gem. This place deserves 10 stars not 5. Their attention to detail (both in the restaurant and in the food) was spectacular. EVERYTHING was delicious and different and just WOW. The chef is extremely talented and skilled and the food is constantly evolving which I love. The staff was kind and caring and not the type who don't care because they automatically charge for service, they genuinely care. Love everything about this place and definitely going back next time I'm in Miami!

Amazing experience, exquisite food, excellent ambiance and very good service. The bibimbap was delicious, as well as the grouper tempura, everything was delicate, great culinary experience in a beautiful hidden place, highly recommend and certainly going back.

The food was amazing but the service really made the dinner an experience. Would recommend this place for a special occasion

Needs a new hostess, would of given 0 stars but the waiter and the manager were 5-star nice. The hostess wasn't even at her stand she was chatting with some guys when we walked in, after she finally came over she told us OUR TABLE HAD BEEN GIVEN AWAY and we no longer had reservations. We arrived within the grace period and this girl was SO RUDE it was A TERRIBLE WAY TO START our experience, the only reason we stayed was because a manager came over and was super nice and corrected the situation. Tables were empty upstairs so not sure why the hostess told us she gave away our table...Food was mediocre, the wagyu gyoza was the best thing we ordered. Such a shame the hostess started us off so angrily, the waiter was so nice we tipped extra but we WILL NOT BE BACK until they change their hostess.
Be the first to ReplyGreat service, good food, and a very chic atmosphere.
Everything was very good but after spending $115 per person we left hungry. The two of us had two appetizers, two entrees, dessert, and drinks. That should be enough food for two, but the portion sizes of the entrees were too small. I'm fine spending that much money if the value is there, but unfortunately Kaori misses that mark.

Kaori, is a hidden gem! After walking past it a few times-- I finally made a reservation during "Miami Spice" to try out their menu. I had their hummus, beef tartare, the gnocchi, and wagyu skirt steak. Everything was delicious and decadent. There weren't any misses.

Be the first to ReplyKaori is a great spot for happy hour and dinner.
It's quite a dining experience the the staff is very attentive. There's an interesting selection of drinks and the food is unique. One of the better restaurants in brickell. I love the interior design and overall aesthetic of the place.

Wow wow wow !!! This place is AMAZING!!!!! The food the atmosphere the service everything is outstanding! We started off with the oysters and by far one of the best I've ever had if not THE best! We ordered the tasting menu and I absolutely recommend it soYou can get a bit of everything. But to me the star of the show was the beef tartare!!!!! Im drooling just thinking about it! I definitely recommend this restaurant for a date night
Be the first to ReplyKaori has the best happy hour in Brickell.
I know that's a strong statement, but the food and service was top-notch, and it was such a good deal. Kaori is split into 2 levels - bar downstairs and dining room upstairs. I recommend going upstairs because you can watch the traffic of S Miami Ave (lol). We got the pork belly baos (2 pieces for $13), crispy prawns (3 pieces for $12), blue oyster and trumpet mushrooms ($13), and spicy udon noodles ($16). For dessert we got a five spice egg custard ($10) and a key lime tart ($10). The food is packed full of flavour. I couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. The servers know the dishes inside and out. I'll definitely be back to try their full menu!
Be the first to ReplyThe vibes here are immaculate.
Thoughtfully crafted and creative menu. Tasteful drinks. Knowledgeable and attentive staff. Kaori delivers an exceptional and impressive dining experience.

A hidden gem in Brickell! Cant tell it's much from the outside but the second you walk through the door you know they have nailed the dinner and drinks vibe! The lamb, noodles, and oysters are fire, but that ain't the main attraction. The man behind the bar, Pípe, is a cocktail genius. More than a friendly face with good chat, this guy is the reason I come back again and again. No matter your alcohol preference, put your drink choices in his hands for the evening and I PROMISE you will not be disappointed!
Be the first to ReplyKaori has some of the BEST drinks in town.
Sit at the bar & ask for Pípe. All the drinks are unique & everyone behind the bar is extremely knowledgeable, especially Pípe. Every drink Pípe makes is so good & you can tell how much he cares about his craft and the people sitting at his bar. 12/10 recommend visiting Pípe. The Karajillo is my absolute favorite! Our dinner experience was 10/10 all the food was beautifully presented and delicious. I highly recommend the spicy udon noodles.
Be the first to ReplySo pleasantly surprised by this place.
What I thought would be another Brickell tourist trap was actually a wonderful all-around experience.Chic, pleasant ambiance and the best service I've had in Brickell hands down. Our server (Moses?) and our busser were cheerful and helpful. Happy to answer questions and just so friendly. The food exceeded expectations. Everything was so beautifully crafted. The wokked red Belgium endive had so many dimensions of flavor. We couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The fig straciatella was also amazing. The pita it came with was so fluffy while being flavorful instead of just tasting bready like many pitas do.Tbh, it is expensive. Especially if you order drinks. They have happy hour specials though and I would totally come back to enjoy some of this excellent food for less. Or would come back on a special occasion.
Be the first to ReplyTruly amazing experience.
I would say that is the best test of a restaurant is if you are able to go alone and still enjoy yourself. Kaori passed with flying colors. My waitress Kat was an amazing conversationalist, very knowledgable about the dishes, and a pleasure to meet! The hostess Danielle was also very lovely. So were all of the gentlemen who brought me my dishes.Don't leave without trying the Charcoal Gnocchi. If I find myself working near Brikell again, I will stop by, and so should you!

Check out this new spot in Brickell of Mediterranean Asian fusion. The menu is amazing as is happy hour from 5-7 every day. See picture. The drinks are top notch and so are the happy hour appetizers. I look forward to trying the upstairs restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyHad to try out Kaori for an early dinner.
They offer Mediterranean Asian food along with natural wine and craft cocktails located in Brickell. Appetizers and starters range from $14-20 dollars, entrees $30-$50 and desserts $10-12. They offer happy hour daily from 5-7pm and it's a good way to try some drinks and food for discounted prices. Started with the short ribs dumpling which were very good. For my entree I had the sea bass which was pretty good along with the accompanying sauce really played well with the fish. Note the portion sizes and not very big but the food is packed with subtle flavors that will amuse your palette for the hard core foodies. I had the egg custard for dessert which I really enjoyed. Overall Kaori is a cute place with good drinks and food. If your looking for a light meal or good happy hour it's definitely worth the visit
Be the first to ReplyI came here for dinner last night.
We ordered the gnocchi and udon noodles, and black hummus for a starter. It was all ok, overpriced for what was given but the flavor was good. Then we ordered the custard dessert. When I tell you I almost gagged, it was disgusting. The flavor was a mix of custard, cucumbers, and apple cider vinegar. The flavors just did not compliment each other, and it was just weirdly bitter sweet. 0/10 for that. Overall, the ambiance is nice but I wouldn't come back.
Be the first to ReplyIn terms of the venue, it's a really cool restaurant.
Drinks are OK and the ambiance is nice. The food on the other hand is average at best and EXTREMELY expensive for what it is. 100$ per person and the plates were small and not very good.I wouldn't come back, unfortunately.
