While everything we've had here has been great, I think the perfect meal here would be (if they'd let you) bread , salmon rillettes, broccolini and reisling

Obviously it's expensive but that is what you expect walking into this place. Do try the truffle mashed potatoes. To die for!!!

My husband & I had the most perfect date night at Savoy London: dinner at Kaspar's followed by drinks and dessert at Thames Foyer (while listening to amazing live jazz musicians). It was magical in all aspects: history, beauty, food quality, atmosphere and service. And the music! We split a few dishes, including the Best of the Seas seafood appetizer, lobster bisque, Irish black angus beef fillet and the most amazing dessert (they even wrote my name on it!!): a pastry called Paris-London which has homemade praline and chocolate mousse. Simply unforgettable. Highly recommend this place to visitors and locals alike. Can't wait to return! P.S. Our server Rosaria (shout out to Rosaria!) even brought the statue of Kaspar the cat to our table for a little while (and told us the legend that goes with it!) P.P.S. Extra thanks to the whole staff (Aurelia, Alden, Patrick and Rosaria), they made us feel so welcome!

Great meal at the Savoy on Monday, first time back in the hotel for a long time. It is nice to see the older/classic London hotels coming back after refurbishment. We started with drinks in the Beaufort Bar for a change - very enjoyable. Then went on to dinner at Kaspar's primarily a fish/seafood restaurant. The decor was very pleasant with a seafood bar taking center stage. Our party had oysters, cured & smoked fish, crab and lobster bisque, blackened salmon, halibut, and even lamb, all the above with nice wines and followed by yummy desserts. The food was well prepared, nicely presented and delicious. A wonderful experience enhanced by our server Jonelle who did a great job taking care of us. We'll be back.

I may be prejudiced because I love a good seafood platter and they had one. We also tried a pasta special with seafood and it was also wonderful. But I found the staff to be a real selling point here, too. They go out of their way to keep you happy. Not inexpensive but the seafood was fresh and delicious. We also had breakfast here one morning and the menu was varied and had a lot of selections.

Big ticket restaurant situated riverside at the rear of The Savoy Hotel. A two course meal for 2 persons with a bottle of house wine will set you back the best part of £150-£200 so you might want to wait to dine here until it's a special occasion. When that moment arrives, be assured that the food is superb, we ordered from the summer seasonal menu, the haddock and sole were beautifully presented and the tastes and flavours were magnificent. Our waiter Ryan, was friendly, enthusiastic and helpful as you would expect. Top marks for food, service and atmosphere.

Kasper's is a beautiful restaurant in the iconic Savoy hotel. It's speciality is seafood and it most certainly delivers the high quality and finesse you would expect and more.Staff are welcoming and attentive without being pushy or overbearing.Ambience and decor is artistic, tasteful and bold all in one.Food has clean flavours, beautiful, fresh, cooked to perfection and presented in mouthwatering fashion. A definite recommendation of you get a chance to visit.

A very disappointing experience. The service was lacklustre and the food mediocre. I had the seabass ceviche which i have definitely made better myself at home. It was tasteless. I had the hereford beef at £30 which was under seasoned and underwhelming. I couldn't face pudding. Never again.

Lovely 3 course meal in a very lovely and romantic setting, situated in one of the most iconic hotels of London. The food was well presented and the food combination was great. It was certainly a tat expensive but you kinda expect that when you go there.Ever course was great and in particular loved the tuna sashimi (fusion), and the caramel creumx dessert. It was super gorgeous! My only complaint is that, for that price I expected perfection, but unfortunately the food was either a tat too salty or too plain. Was not just right. Non-the-less it was a nice night out.

We took advantage of a cheeky wee offer via groupon for 3 course & a glass of champers for 2. When the OH phoned to reserve it was the politest customer service experience he'd ever had!On arrival the staff were very friendly & welcoming. Kasper's is right at the back & we were given a lovely table overlooking the river. Apart from a mix-up with the water order (we were given still instead of the sparking we'd ordered) the service and attention to detail was excellent. Although we were there on an offer we were allowed to choose from the all day dining menu, which had much more choice than their pre theatre menu. The OH had the salmon & crab fish cake to start, the yellowfin tuna steak for main & a caramel cremeux dessert. I had the scallops to start, Hereford fillet for main & the dark chocolate fondant for dessert. We shared sides of truffle mash & creamed Savoy cabbage with bacon. We also had a bottle of Lebanese rosé.The portions were generous & the food was delicious. The tuna was cooked perfectly and melted in the mouth as it should. The steak was lovely & had lots of flavour. I'd definitely go back again for something to eat pre-theatre. Overall 4.5 stars
