Kricket
Perfect. Perfect. And perfect. The food is the best. Rik and Will, owner and friend, good talk. Me, no meat or garlic. My friend GF. We had the best meal.
Be the first to ReplyFun hip authentic Delicious Indian food
We sat at the bar. The atmosphere was lively and fun and new, the drinks were outstanding and the service exception. The food was unique and delicious. The mango dessert on the cookie was the house special and it was fabulous
Be the first to ReplyA terrible mis-steak
I had travelled from Scotland to visit this restaurant and I was honestly so excited. Well what can I even say. The steak was cold which was a huge shame. The fish was delicious. They replaced the steak free of charge but at that point we just wanted to go home. We went home to listen to music on YouTube. All in all a disappointing evening. โI donโt like Kricket, oh no, and I donโt love itโ. 4.5 out of 10. Do better.

Came here last night. I don't understand why this restaurant is so highly rated. The food is awful and the place is noisy, basic and chaotic. We received at least three things we didn't order and we were missing a couple of dishes that we did. I felt we were encouraged to over-order, so I did try quite a few things on their very limited menu.staff were nice but clearly harassed by the sheer number of customers and extreme tightness of space at the communal banquettes downstairs. Snacks: Mirchi vada - the best thing on the menu. Light and spicy. Gave me misplaced hope Butter chicken kofta - also good, the snacks were the only good things on the menu. Small plates Samphire pakoras- tasteless. Avoid Chana masala- chick peas with hummus. Really weird. Did not work Lamb ribs - basically lamb fat, disgusting Larger Mutton curry- ok but very ordinary and bland Smoked pork belly - inedible as way too salty Dahl- utterly tasteless Sides Naan - ok but they initially have us some bread with green sludge all over it. Don't know what is was but it was soggy and horrible Meera pulao - ok Broccoli - possibly the worst thing we ate, but it's hard to choose. It was absolutely drowned in a 'walnut chutney' which was like an overpowering blue cheese sauce. Completely inedible Desserts Bhappa doi- a mishmash of all kinds of things which did not go together and tasted revolting Mango and lime kulfi- not frozen. Much too sweet. Obviously I am not returning. Definitely does not merit the high prices.

Wonderful curry, the fried chicken was super, we tried many different plates and tandoori. good beer, special the cocktails
Be the first to ReplyAuthentic Indian Food
Good Indian Food. Limited menu and limited space, with a must for bookings. Shared tables and space is tight. The menu is basic and some dishes done extremely well. Would have been nice to see more varied main courses and more options for vegetarian customers. Overall a nice place with relatively authentic food.

One of my most memorable dinners ever!! The food was ample and super tasty, service incredible and atmosphere is buzzing with life. Get a seat at the bar if you can and definitely make a reservation as itโs full even on a weekday. Definitely highly recommend this restaurant!! I canโt praise it enough!! We lived in South East Asia for many years and the Indian cuisine is very very good there AND, Kricketโs food is on par with a proper Indian one. That says a lot. Well done Kricket!! Please keep up the fantastic work!!

What a fantastic place. Unbelievably great food and reasonably priced. Great staff who were very helpful and gave great advice re dishes. Brilliant atmosphere and best meal we had in London. No idea why anyone would rate here poor or terrible! A must!

Friendly, efficient service. Lovely environment. Nice to sit at bar; easy to chat to friends; great to see all the action in the kitchen; delicious, interesting food.
Be the first to ReplyPar for the course in London, Not the place for wholesome cocktails though!
The food was good with the portion sizes ample. However we found that the cocktails wer far too small and consequently we would be unable to say that it was good value for money. The average per person came out at GBP 52. Good professional service delivery.
Be the first to ReplySuper tasty food in a friendly atmosphere. Just go!
We are our way round London for the past few days. All very good but Kricket was the highlight. Every dish was super tasty. If you are going choose the samphire pakoras to nibble on whilst deciding what else you fancy. We asked to sit at the bar seating. As we have done now for about of our couples dining. You get the chance to see what the staff are doing, speaking to them about the dishes etc. the staff at Kricket were more than happy to chat with us & even said weโd missed a great dish off our choices and made up a mini one to try. We were so full when we left so could not fit another morsel in. We will return to try some other dishes. Thanks to all the staff for the amazing food and service.

Truly one of the most memorable meals in my life. I never expected the flavors, the range, and the depth of this food. My friends and I shared eight small plates. Each was a delight. We had aubergine with lots of coriander, but not too much, nan with crispy chicken skin, lamb sausage, fried chicken, pork, and a cuddlefish dish, all which were amazing ( we had some rice and dahl). Then the check. Even it was amazing. In New York we would have poad at least double. Don't miss this place.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing Tasting menu for groups
We were a group of 6 eating the tasting menu, very disappointed at the amount of food. We had one cod portion for 6 people. How do you divide one small piece by 6? I asked if that was the all & they asked if we wanted to order another portion. In my opinion 4 people would have received the same amount of food as we did for 6 people. The Tasting menu was ยฃ 48 per person. Not good value. Will not be returning.

Absolutely fabulous food and drink! What a perfect selection of options and is ideal for sharing in a group! Staff very helpful and friendly too!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food, great atmosphere, highly recommend.
Fantastic Indian inspired food, not a bad dish on the menu (and we had most of them). Chef Bhavin in particular was great - excellent Kerala chicken, fried samphire and Goan sausage croquettes. Well done!
Be the first to ReplyGreat adaptations on traditional Indian cuisine.
We had a variety of dishes to share - but the show stoppers were the chicken, the mango starter, the chocolate desert & the Free Star beer.
Be the first to ReplyThe best Indian meal Iโve eaten!
Great atmosphere and even better food. The dishes are unique and beautifully put together, and itโs great to see them being made in the open kitchen. Staff are friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be returning here - an absolute gem of a restaurant!
Be the first to ReplyA Real Shame
I had dined at Kricket White City once before and had a good experience: food, atmosphere and staff all very positive and I would have certainly come back many times thereafter.
Unfortunately following this, I had the displeasure of meeting one of the two restaurant founders at a mutual party's social gathering. I was utterly appalled by some of the conversations I was overhearing between him and his friends which included "jokes" about people of an Indian / Asian heritage.
I could not believe he was partaking in such crude commentary give that he has built and is making profit from serving cuisine from this very culture.
Never again - founder (a privileged white male) should be ashamed of himself.
Amazing Food - but asked to 'finish up' after 55 mins!
One of the best meals we had in London last week. Amazing food. we called and booked a table for 2. when we got there - we were sat at the bar. now we're both over 6 ft and large guys - we just couldn't fit comfortably at the bar. the stools were also fixed to the floor, so you coudn't move them. We were told no problem and taken down stairs. we had an amazing meal, and after we'd just finished eating, we were asked if we'd like anything else. We said no, but i still had half a bottle of beer left. Next thing i know - the bill is on the table and we're being told that the next table were there already!! Must admin - kind of ruined the meal for us. We had booked by phone - for a table and the email said we had from 5pm to 6.45. we were sat at 5.05 and the bill presented to us at 5.55.
So make sure you ask WHERE you're going to be sat when you book.
but as far as the food goes - it's amazing.
i would have given it 5 stars - but for the very shoddy ending. We felt very 'hurried away' at the end. Which is a real shame..
Great trendy Indian
Innovative tasty Indian inspired. We came here pre theatre and did not dissapoint, really nice setting too with the bar to watch eve chefs work

I donโt particularly enjoy Indian food and I didnโt find many dish options for me, but, what I had was really good.
I enjoyed the butternut squash and the beef Boti Kebab, together with the Pilau rice.
Iโm not sure I would go back, but definitely a restaurant to suggest if people love Indian food.
I have found the restaurant to be very loud and I didnโt particularly enjoy sitting at the same table with other people.
Food: 9/10
General value: 8/10
Stupidly good
Just superb. Went as a group of six and we just got one of everything. Not a single bad dish. Do yourself a favour and go here.
Be the first to ReplyGood late night spot
Cool location in soho. Great service and food. Nice late night dining atmosphere with sharing plates. lamb and paneer were our favourites.
Be the first to ReplyA Bit Disappointing
Excellent service and good vibe but food was disappointing. Very burnt lamb which we should have rejected.
Had a better experience at their Brixton branch.
