Secure your parking first
We had previously visited a Kura Sushi Bar in Laguna Hills before it disappeared, so we were eager to visit the Sushi Bar on Convoy Street where parking is often difficult. The small parking lot in front of the Sushi Bar was full, so we entered the public garage and paid $2 for one hour of parking. Then we waited 30 minutes in a queue of customers waiting for a place to sit. When we finally entered, a helpful man explained the system to us, which took another 5-10 minutes. Unfortunately, we had to rush through our meal. The sushi was fine, and the price was very competitive.

Incredibly great food and experience. The entire service was outstanding and speed of special orders filled very quickly.

Good sushi and a fun time a wide selection of sushi and very affordable make sure to plan ahead the wait could be a long one
Be the first to ReplyCheap Sushi
At ~$2.50 for two pieces of nigiri, the cheapest sushi in town. Main feature is sushi train like those in Japan, the sushi comes by opn a belt and you pick what you like. You can also order electronically and dishes magically appear on transport system. Bill is calculated by dropping used plates into a slot. It's fun and sushi is fresh albeit ordinary. Killer is the long wait to get seated.
Be the first to ReplyCool concept
We barely waited 2 minutes although we got the last available booth at the end of the revolving area. Most of the choices were empty by the time they reached us which made us wait a few rounds. The food itself was fresh and tastes good with a large variety.

Watch the tempting small plates travel past your table. Grab a few and enjoy. Toss the empty plates down the chute. Eat enough to win a prize, Have sushi and laughs.
Be the first to Reply4 hour wait...
This is not a fair review since I never even got into the restaurant. It was a Sunday night and the wait was 4 hours. We were 96 on the waiting list. Not there fault for being popular but just wanted to give you a heads up that you will have to wait.

We decided to try this place out as we had previously visited a somewhat similar concept in Hawaii that our kids loved with iPad ordering, conveyor belt type delivery etc. We arrived early and didn’t have to wait for a table. Overall, we found the food to be average. The fish didn’t have anything wrong with it and seemed fresh, but we wouldn’t say there was much special about the sushi. We also found that the place seemed a bit dark and there were some areas that weren’t as clean as they could have been (ie the wall along our table next to the sushi conveyor was dirty). While the individual orders don’t seem crazy expensive, by the time we were done the bill wasn’t cheap and we weren’t feeling that full either. Overall, not somewhere we would run back to.
Be the first to ReplyWorse customer service experience from an old favorite
This used to be my favorite sushi place to eat until a horrible customer service experience here tonight. They use a booking system where you check in advance and wait a few hours to get called. They usually contact you when your number is about 10-15minutes from being called and it gives you time to get to the restaurant. This time I got the first and second message about 10 seconds from each other, so I rushed to the restaurant. When I got there I was told my number had been deleted. When I showed them the two messages and how they were sent immediately one after another (meaning I had no time to respond), the rude waitress told me I should have thought ahead like some other customers and gave them a call. How am I supposed to give them a call when I'm rushing there there? And that instruction is not listed anywhere on their website or the app. When I told her that the rude waitress said I should have just thought ahead and she told me I would have to wait another hour. The food here is good but the service is so insulting that I'm never coming back here. No food is good enough to gloss over being treated like I'm stupid. If you talk down to customers and can't even treat them like decent human beings that you have no right calling yourself a restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and a fun way to get it!
Ate lunch there today and there was not a wait. We tried eating there last night but it was a 4 hour wait. It’s really a small restaurant with a conveyor belt with sushi, watermelon, edamame and desserts. We took a 10 year old for her first time eating sushi and she enjoyed the blue crab rolls and tried most of the rolls we had. The shrimp was really good, the salmon skin plate was surprisingly delicious! Everything was delicious!! We also ordered a couple of items from the iPad and they were sent to us really quickly. We ordered the tempura chicken for the 10 year old just in case she didn’t like the sushi. We all ended up eating it because it was so good!
